    Thank you thank you thank you - exactly what I needed. A lot of times I am practising YIN Yoga online, the teachers are flowing easely into the poses, and I by myself sagged more like an "old" sandbag into the pose. I injured my hips 25 years ago, and that is me now, I will always have limitated mobility in my hips. I felt so comfortable to take your class, to see you also have restriction in your hips, and teaches such a lovely class. I love it !!! Namasté.

      You are so very welcome! I teach yoga BECAUSE I am NOT flexible and I hope that more people, like us, try it when they see that. Yin will help immensely with mobility in the hips and I have seen huge changes in my body since I started 6 years ago. Not just opening but freedom throughout the body. Thank you for joining me on the mat and I hope to "see" you again online : ) Peace & Namaste, Aprille

    This older video popped up in my YT feed so I decided to do it. Nice Juicy Hip Heaven! Focusing on my jaw/shoulders/upper back recently and my hips got a bit tight. By the last pose, fire log, my hips were back to flexible. Thank You Aprille and have a great Tuesday, Namaste

      Older vids are still good vids, right? This is a nice shorter practice for outer hip opening and I am glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing your time with me and I wish you a glorious day! Peace, Aprille ♥🙏🌞

    Wonderful hip opening sequence thank you Aprille - you made me giggle during the fire log set up 😁

    • @YogaRangerStudio
      @YogaRangerStudio  6 років тому +2

      Thank you Belinda! Firelog has been my arch nemesis since I began yoga but I think we are working it out now - calling a truce! It's a strange pose if you don't have the hips for stacking the legs on top of one another but a great pose for REALLY DEEP hip opening! Thank you for joining me today and have a fabulous day! Peace, Aprille 😃

    Thanks for the session, I wonder if this session can heal people with gallstones ? I have my student who is suffering gallstones and too afraid to do surgery.

    • @YogaRangerStudio
      @YogaRangerStudio  7 років тому +2

      You are welcome and thank you for joining me! There can be a lot of reasons for gallstones so its difficult to know what will work...this would definitely be a question for a doctor (alternative or otherwise) and I always suggest getting a second opinion. I personally have had the surgery and it was quite painless. Recovery afterwards was fast but I did need to rethink my diet while my body healed. Have a great day. Peace, Aprille

    Hi Aprille :-) So I have a suggestion or question. Do you have a practice or know a meridian that is associated with nicotine addiction? I am trying to reduce my smoking

    • @YogaRangerStudio
      @YogaRangerStudio  3 роки тому

      Begin by focusing on the liver meridians more and adding in heart and lung meridians every now and then for support. Working with meridians could help support you in reducing your smoking.

      @@YogaRangerStudio How fortunate, I already have some of my favourite practices of you and others addressed at these meridians in my playlist. Thank you so much, you are too sweet being so helpful 🥰

    I always think of my mom when I do yoga and tearing not sure why or does it heal my feeling if I do yoga?

    • @YogaRangerStudio
      @YogaRangerStudio  3 роки тому +1

      Yoga is a time to slow down and connect mind/body/breath. This can often allow us to process feelings, thoughts, and memories and can bring them up to the surface. My theory has always been allow this, let it be what it is, and let your mind/body heal naturally. Yoga is a beautiful, safe space to explore in and know that as you process, you will find more space and healing as you go.

    After watching once or twice, and getting a good sense of the poses, transitions, and timing, I turn off the sound for the video and turn on my station on Pandora.

    Did anyone else notice anger while doing this? Why is this?

    • @YogaRangerStudio
      @YogaRangerStudio  3 роки тому +1

      The emotion most closely related to the Liver meridians is anger so perhaps you were experiencing the energy shifting? We hold a lot of emotional energy in the connective tissue of our body and the space most dense with this are the hips (the focus of this practice).
