I thought the third one would be about the girl who survived in the first one teaming up with the dad and son from the second movie to kill the creeper.
Moff Tarkin That’s what pisses fans off the most. That was the idea, the sister had nightmares that her son would suffer the same fate as her brother so she would seek out the father and son, those three would team up to take down the creeper once and for all. They had a story already laid out. For some reason they just said “nahhh we’ll just do this instead.”
It was supposed to be, but apparently the studio didn't want to cough up the budget for it and Salva got less than half the budget of the original (especially when counting for inflation). So it looks like he made do with what was given him, which resulted in the laughably bad CGI effects. No wonder this movie got a very limited release. I think they're saving the best for last, but I loved this film which is very well done for such a low budget. The CGI is a bit crappy in parts but mainly when the creeper is in slow motion in the air shot it's really obvious. I thought the acting was spot on and some characters were very funny indeed.. The main teen characters were meant to come off as innocent experiencing their first romance in such bleak circumstances and I didn't find them boring at all. For this type of film I haven't seen anything done better and I for one thought this was much better than the high budget horror flick IT. Sometimes less is best and the director shows here that he has a knack of making something out of nothing seem good.. It's obviously a stop gap to keep the fans curious before the final film is released and that's already been penned.. I suspect with a much higher budget the final film will be the best of all and hopefully we'll get to see it in 2021..

This film was made with the intentions of having a comic book feel to it and I think they pulled it off nicely.. One thing I would have liked is at the end of the movie when “Freckles” got on the bus at the end it shows the Creeper is standing behind Addison implying the Creeper got her again since they established once he has the scent of something he likes, he can’t and won’t stop until he has it

Can't understand why you'd make a third film set between 1 & 2 when the ending of the second film was a perfect jumping on point for a sequel. This felt lazy, rushed, dull & lacked a decent climax.
I thought it was very entertaining for a low budget and it was a decent film but not as good as the first two.. Yes there were a few CGI fails but it was not enough to deem this a bad movie.. I thought the characters where great along with the acting which was spot on.. I found the film very funny and had quite a good few jump scares. We also got to see the creeper in the day light which was hard to pull off but It worked for me. I've watched it three or four times and love it, along with the other two in the franchise.. And I believe the fourth which is already penned will be the best yet. I'm not taking this film to seriously as it's obviously just a stop gap to keep the creeper franchise in memory as this was made purely for the fans. Also how over powered is the Creeper in this, he was almost defeated by a car in the first one suddenly he can shrug of a freakin' minigun like nothing.
The truck was controlled by the demonic force stemming from the creeper which was obvious so I can't see why you don't get this. I thought the truck scenes were brilliant and memorable espeically with the teen bikers. This was a short but sweet film made on a low budget but with very good acting and comedic moments. There were some very good jump scares especially with the truck and it was fun to get to see the inside of the truck and all the traps that were set up in it.. And the creeper ended up getting caught in the very snare that he set for his victims which was very well done for me. This film is just a little snack for the fans to give them something to chew on until they release the fourth and final film which will have a much higher budget for the creator and the cast to work with. It's not as good as the first two but it had some very memorable moments which leaves me to think that I won't be disappointed with the final film which will have more cash to give it the icing on the cake that it needs.
I loved it and thought it was great for such a low budget film.. If one can forgive the crap CGI in a few places then one can overlook this and just enjoy a not so serious yet enjoyable fun horror flick. Clearly the last will be a much higher budget and I think it will be the best out of the lot..
@@dfstarborn I respectfully disagree because this movie was suppose to be a different story and finally take place 23 years later after the 2 film ends. And considering it took 15 years for this film to be made fans like myself had to wait and it felt like we wouldn’t see another film be made considering now that the internet fully knew who victor salva was now. And what truly sucks is that this film adds nothing to the creepers lore. we don’t learn anything we already knew before and feels empty in comparison to the first two films. Now that we’re seeing a reboot let’s see what they do new and if it finally gives us a all new storyline
Even though the truck is not in the second movie, that's because the Creeper was on his final day, I don't think he could be bothered driving around, looking for tasty prey, ALL day and risk going into a coma and letting humans get him. So, he just flew around after killing Billy, and found a basketball team....perfect buffet for his last day.
I wanted to enjoy this movie but just knowing the events of the second one come after its just hard to really get behind the plot of those people trying to take him down haha. Either way another great review Decker thank you!
1:34 I honestly would have loved it if he had said Hey I stopped for ya Then the creeper drops next to him and the guy says Get in I'll give you a lift Then an hour later the creeper is sitting awkwardly in the passenger seat while the guy is driving to the creepers truck trying to strike up conversation like Hey how's the weather. Did you know the raiders lost last night. Oh what do you think a good name would be for a puppy. They stop creeper gets out to go to his truck gets in and drives off super fast then the guys like Hey pal you left your severed hand, I'm sure he'll find out and come back for it.
I mean with shit like comicon, my god, I'd swing by San Diego, station myself in the middle of the dessert. And then I'd swing by to comicon for some hotties.
Will they ever bring back the Creeper's goofy theme song? That came from the best of these movies, and it's the only thing they've seemed to abandoned.
@Boogie Thus Rose I know, right? They could have at least used a creepy, slow piano version of the song. It could have worked. Instead, they opted to make the Jeepermobile as equipped as James Bond's car.
Jeepers Creepers 1 was one of my favorite movies, didn't care for Jeepers Creepers 2 much, but it ended on a cliffhanger, so I've wanted the conclusion to that for years. We finally get Jeepers Creepers 3, and it SUCKED. I choose to ignore it.
I loved all 3 of them and thought the 2nd was just as brilliant as the first. The 3rd was good but not brilliant and of course I'm not getting to upset with the weak CGI scenes in day light because I know this was low budget and because of this a lot of scenes had to be done in daylight to save costs. Lighting costs a lot of money which is why we get a lot of daylight scenes. And I think the creeper daylight scenes actually worked along with the truck being controlled by the creepers demonic force. It was a short but sweet film for me which I'm not going to take to seriously because I know the final film will have a much higher budget. This film would have been better if it were a mini tv series but it was made for the fans as a little snack to chew on before the release of the final film.
Dear Decker I just want you to know that I continue to enjoy your videos, and hope that you persist in bringing out brilliant content for quite some time to come.
I enjoy the fact that Meg Foster seems to have gotten a renaissance, of sorts, with this caper, "31" and "the Lords of Salem". She is great! What's also enjoyable is the review. I like the sarcasm and the dry wit (besides the Hair) and the narration. It's really to the point and very seldom excessive. A good job, well executed. Thank you.
There is strong evidence that he actually died second due to the vibrations of the spear hitting the tree being absorbed by the body of the other guy first, thus causing massive internal damage and dampening the shock to the black guy. Please don't ask me how I know this, they are still looking for me.
@@zigfaust But like, if you observe closely at the two of them in the shot that shows them against the tree impaled, you see the black guy go still first, and then afterwards the other guy's arms drop down and he dies.
I now know why they didn’t show so much of the creeper in the first and second movie, because actually seeing what he looks like, it’s not even scary anymore. What made it scary before was never really knowing what he looked like, his face was always in the shadows. This movie should have just been a full on comedy, just go all out with the ridiculousness.
One of the questions i had when i saw this film was just how in the fuck that beginning played out after the dude got picked up. How the hell did a dude basically snatched up by a goddamn pterodactly demon manage to get one good swing in, cutting his hand off, drop his machete, then the hand. The opening to me never logically made much sense and really did just feel like the writer crowbarred in a mcguffin to hint at the creatures origin and sequel bait fans
Wow, in your Jeepers Creppers 2 review the perceived release of Jeepers Creepers 3 was the year 2013, boy we had no idea how long this would be delayed for, though we were sold sort on it being a sequel. Here's waiting another fourteen year until Jeepers Creepers 4, unless they decided to just reboot it.
In five years, we could have a true legitimate sequel to the original, because it would be exactly twenty three years after the original. The exact amount of time that the creeper is suppose to sleep for.
1:30-2:11 trish and her brother darry jenner encounter the creeper and darry dies trish stays at the police station and gazelle cleo arrives and Trish jenner jenner cries
Would like to see Origin of the Creeper movie which at the end tie in 23years before JC1. Of course the continuation of JC2, hopefully they can get the actors like Ray Wise and others. I have always believed the kids from the Bus that were collected at climax for the movie actually lived, since he was in the collection phase.
I had heard about the reports on _JC3_ for years since the 2003 release of _JC2,_ they had talked about this film featuring a prologue set in the Old West and possibly explaining the origin story, before then shifting to 23 years after _JC2_ and have Trish and the Jacks in it. But somewhere in that time it was changed to what we have actually gotten. I believe that must have had something to do with the budget for the film.
The bad firearms consulting on this film killed me, the dead son shoots a lever action multiple times in a flashback like he's shooting a semi auto, and the mini 14 the cop uses to shoot the creeper van has no magazine in it!
before james mocks 1.7 million for a budget isn't bad. You gotta remember, back in 78 the original Halloween had a 300,000 budget. The only big name they could get was Donald pleasance and, they could only afford him for a week. When clerks was made Kevin Smith maxed out every credit card he had to get the movie out. Again, limited budget of 20,000. Maybe the movies should stop relying on expensive cgi effects (which look fake imo) for their movies. Practical effects are better well, for horror movies anyway. Lol I guess I'm just old school that way.
James mocks trailers I don't blame them for being pissed. Some of the cgi effects do look really painful to watch. Which is why I was bringing up practical effects. It's cheaper to use practical effects as opposed to cgi. I'll give a good example.... The original nightmare on elm street there's a scene where Nancy is sleeping and, freddy presses his face against the wall. $10 dollars to make that scene and,it's effective as hell. 2010 remake does the same scene with cgi effects and it looks faker than shit lol. Plus it's more expensive. I'm just saying I think it's better to use practical effects as opposed to cgi effects for horror movies. Save the cgi for action movies. P.s. I actually liked jc3 a lot. There were a few flaws but,I think it was a lot better than jc2.
ness advantage The creeper was more intimidating In two, whereas in three he looked too much like his human actor. The tone for 3 is shit, with shit cgi, shit characters, and shit over the top acting. Having said all that, I'd say Jeepers creepers 2 is a 7.5 outta ten And Jeepers creepers 3 is like a, 4 outta ten and that's being generous. I still like it for it's devotion to the source material, but it just is executed poorly and we don't even get ANY knowledge of the creeper's past even though the fucking characters learn!
You killed it on this one deck! Had me chuckling all the way through! Been a fan since your first what? Ten videos if that, you've come a long way, keep up the good work bro! Jack.
I can't wait for this new movie. I'm glad they are only going off the first movie because if they went off of 2 they would just be redoing H20. They can't go off of the Thorn trilogy because the whole thorn idea was stupid, and they are not gonna go off of Resurrection because.... I don't even have to explain
I’d like to make the point that this film sticks to its timeline and continuity quite well. A notable instance is that in JC1, Darry mentions the story of two teens - named Darla and Kenny - who disappeared back in the late 70s. He would later find their bodies within the Creeper’s lair. Kenny is actually the same Kenny shown in the opening scene of this movie and further provides detail on that story mentioned in the first film.

@17:45 To be fair, the bullets shot by the police dude also bounced off the truck Danny was driving including the front windshield. So there no logical reason to assume the truck is bulletproof.
2:06 -5:55 fast 9 spin off crossover scene of jeepers creepers 4 when Taggarts sr dies jack of Conners (sister) ) and cousins brian marcos toretto team up with Trisha jenner (get revenge! & for Elena brian gissele han solo and #forpaulwalker #fordarry ofcourse!!))

Better than the second? Noooooo way dude. The second was my favorite. The FX still hold up more than this. Way better characters and plot. The build up and tension when they get stranded still sends chills down my spine today. Unbelievably disappointing that after 14 years this is what we get.
Great review of a mediocre film, Istill remember back when you had less than 8k subs and only did reviews on your off time. Great to see someone you like take off like they deserve!
I think Victor Salva recycled some plot elements from the original script for the third movie. In the script for Jeepers creepers 3 Cathedral, that was set after the first two movies, a group of bikers discover the Creepers truck in a remote field, somewhere. One of them goes inside it and gets stuck by a booby trap. Also, in the script, Tubbs joins a task force who are determined to hunt down and defeat the creeper following its resurrection
The creeper too me is a very interesting character. It just needs a different director and story writer. With the right direction this franchise could be just as iconic as a Jason, Micheal and Freddy.
Decker there is a Jeepers creepers comic book that goes into the creepers origin(kinda) supposedly it is responsible for the legend of Quetzalcoatl and other stories of dragons(don't know if this is canon to the films or not but just so you know
The super car and supernatural weapons kinda killed this for me. Even for how goofy he was in 2 he is scarier in 2 than this. To be honest I stopped giving this movie much attention after the assholes found the truck as it just solidified the apprehensions I had with it from the beginning
The first 50 minutes of jeepers creepers 1 where possibly for me one of my most excited/terrifying experiences in horror. In 3 I couldn’t find 50 seconds 😂
Thought the first two were very decent movies, loved the concept of the creeper (utterly terrified me as a youngster) but man was this horrendous... had me laughing far too much at how ridiculous the script was. Never seen so many loose ends in a movie I don’t believe before. Nothing mattered.
I would honestly love a whole new story line or reboot for this franchise because i do see the creature as a fascinating and very interesting concept. The creature alone can carry a film so just imagine what would happen with an excellent cast and writer.
Yeah, gonna have to disagree. This movie does not come anywhere near Jeepers Creepers 2, because 2 was at least entertaining even in its badness. This one is not just bad, it's boring as all hell, the characters are all painfully uninteresting, even the actor playing the Creeper looks bored as fuck, and it's amazing how much of absolutely nothing happens in this movie beyond just a few deaths. his was one of those movies that make me wish I could turn back time to prevent myself from seeing it.
GREAT REVIEW!...The law of diminishing returns has set in...Totally agree you can have so-so effects BUT if the characters are well developed more than makes up for lack of everything else...
Joe Hall 0:10-3:46 is jeepers creepers 4 filming this year? And in Baltimore md? (Opening plot:trish jenner visits the police station and looks at the window with her son darry named after her brother killed by the creeper and she hugs him just to keep him safe remembering)
"Adventures in horse feeding" 😃 Is every truck in this movie ATLEAST 50 years old?? Not that I mind, but it seems like an extremely concentrated population of fully functional antique trucks...
I'm glad you did this review, I was curious about this movie, but after finding out what a fuck bag the director is, and the creepiest thing about this franchise, I can't bring myself to watch it.
Jesse Belisle honestly with a lot of stuff coming out of Hollywood vig names lately I've just started separating the creator from their works or i wouldn't see anything. just torrent it oKline and see it to judge it.

@@dfstarborn movie sucked
I mean most of the truck stuff I can pass but the acting was shit
Lol wait till you see the fourth one dork
@@dfstarborn Everything about the possessed truck is fucking dumb
This movie made my fear of Jeepers Creepers be gone
@@Technoid10 fully agree, also the truck being alive was wack
@@timmytoughnutz8520 I liked it. Creeper is a bio-amalgamation. Makes sense his partner in crime would be a mechanical-amalgamation.
Damn, must be some way you could get it back
For as weak as the movie is, the timeline makes it rather easy to ignore. I also liked how Trish showed up at the end.
TheHitherto 20:27 jeepers creepers 4 starring:trish jenner
Even though the truck is not in the second movie, that's because the Creeper was on his final day, I don't think he could be bothered driving around, looking for tasty prey, ALL day and risk going into a coma and letting humans get him. So, he just flew around after killing Billy, and found a basketball team....perfect buffet for his last day.
I wanted to enjoy this movie but just knowing the events of the second one come after its just hard to really get behind the plot of those people trying to take him down haha. Either way another great review Decker thank you!
AkiraSlayer agreed
AkiraSlayer 20:33 Trisha said in the foruth movie come and get me your son of a bitch! !
1:34 I honestly would have loved it if he had said
Hey I stopped for ya
Then the creeper drops next to him and the guy says
Get in I'll give you a lift
Then an hour later the creeper is sitting awkwardly in the passenger seat while the guy is driving to the creepers truck trying to strike up conversation like
Hey how's the weather. Did you know the raiders lost last night. Oh what do you think a good name would be for a puppy.
They stop creeper gets out to go to his truck gets in and drives off super fast then the guys like
Hey pal you left your severed hand, I'm sure he'll find out and come back for it.
A few days later, the Creeper just politely knocks on the front door.
He sleeps for 23 years straight, and is only awake for 23 days?
I would feed for the first day and party for the 22 days like it's the year 3000
I mean with shit like comicon, my god, I'd swing by San Diego, station myself in the middle of the dessert. And then I'd swing by to comicon for some hotties.
@@scottbruckner4653 San Diego, fucking yanks make me mad.
@@BIadesMan Bit sad, innit mate?
Will they ever bring back the Creeper's goofy theme song? That came from the best of these movies, and it's the only thing they've seemed to abandoned.
Word Unheard pft they also forgot how to make a good movie
that theme song woulda added some flavor to the sequels, like Halloween and Friday 13th
@Boogie Thus Rose
I know, right? They could have at least used a creepy, slow piano version of the song. It could have worked. Instead, they opted to make the Jeepermobile as equipped as James Bond's car.
I think the song was just a mock from the Creeper knowing he wants Darry’s eyes
The song wasn’t his theme song. It was a warning to the character whose eyes the Creeper was after. It was a vision.
Hey man, I absolutely love and appreciate your videos and the effort you put into them. Please keep it up!
Dear Decker
I just want you to know that I continue to enjoy your videos, and hope that you persist in bringing out brilliant content for quite some time to come.
Thank you.
“Black guy died first “ that was funny how he noticed that lmao 😂
Last time I was this early, Jeepers Creepers wasn't even a franchise yet.
You get a thumbs up from me for recognizing the difference between 50 cal, and 20 mil. Thank you.
You know, when it's actually 23 years after the release of the first Jeepers Creepers, I want a reboot of this franchise.
Thanks for saving me the trouble of seeing this shit! Always love the reviews Decker.
4:51 of all many , many things especially that bugged me of this movie is how the Creeper can stand atop the truck while it "Drives" around?
He did it to the cop car in the first movie xD
15:30 R.I.P. Lungs and ribs. The laughter was too much.
That's probably not gonna happen
I had heard about the reports on _JC3_ for years since the 2003 release of _JC2,_ they had talked about this film featuring a prologue set in the Old West and possibly explaining the origin story, before then shifting to 23 years after _JC2_ and have Trish and the Jacks in it. But somewhere in that time it was changed to what we have actually gotten. I believe that must have had something to do with the budget for the film.
Damn, almost to 100K! You deserve it man, great video as always.
12:45 Holy crap, Thing from the Addams Family is back for revenge! Don't let him "pick two" you!!
Sebastian Emond 14:43 lol! Hand thing will take you bak litterAly to the origins of #autism and what creature created it any awnsers!
Emotional speech in Attack on Titan was gold! You keep surprising me Decker. Great review.
1:29-- 2:07 jeepers creepers 1 alternate ending fanmade
The bad firearms consulting on this film killed me, the dead son shoots a lever action multiple times in a flashback like he's shooting a semi auto, and the mini 14 the cop uses to shoot the creeper van has no magazine in it!
Come here to see how you review, found an attack on titan reference. Nice I'm a fan.
Also knowing the difference between. A .50 and a 20mm.
I couldn't get passed the first 15mins of this movie. Thanks Shado for making it fun a second time around.
Bad cgi curse you 1.7 million bugdet
before james mocks yay my comment got some love
before james mocks 1.7 million for a budget isn't bad.
You gotta remember, back in 78 the original Halloween had a 300,000 budget.
The only big name they could get was Donald pleasance and, they could only afford him for a week.
When clerks was made Kevin Smith maxed out every credit card he had to get the movie out.
Again,limited budget of 20,000.
Maybe the movies should stop relying on expensive cgi effects (which look fake imo) for their movies.
Practical effects are better well, for horror movies anyway.
Lol I guess I'm just old school that way.
ness advantage yea but for 2017 and people are still pissedf at the cgi
Having said all that, I'd say Jeepers creepers 2 is a 7.5 outta ten
And Jeepers creepers 3 is like a, 4 outta ten and that's being generous.
Jack.
With the new Halloween film coming out. Decker i think its high time to hit that franchise head on.
michael whitaker it’s still retarded how only Halloween from 1978 is counted with the new movies, none of the ones after the original
Nathaniel Johnson ??? how so. it's a different timeline with simply the same beginning
I can't wait for this new movie. I'm glad they are only going off the first movie because if they went off of 2 they would just be redoing H20. They can't go off of the Thorn trilogy because the whole thorn idea was stupid, and they are not gonna go off of Resurrection because.... I don't even have to explain
Anjew Libby but resurrection was shit
-TD- exactly my point. It's so bad they can't even make a sequel to it
I’d like to make the point that this film sticks to its timeline and continuity quite well. A notable instance is that in JC1, Darry mentions the story of two teens - named Darla and Kenny - who disappeared back in the late 70s. He would later find their bodies within the Creeper’s lair. Kenny is actually the same Kenny shown in the opening scene of this movie and further provides detail on that story mentioned in the first film.

o its like me in subnautica yesterday when i got into the lava zone tunnel and head the seadragon scream
i said "oh shiut up i hear you"then realised wait i head him turned the camera around and he was above me then i just shat myself and hauled ass out of there
Found this channel on a jeepers creeper review, it's painful to see were at this point now. This movie was such a let down.
@17:45 To be fair, the bullets shot by the police dude also bounced off the truck Danny was driving including the front windshield. So there no logical reason to assume the truck is bulletproof.
The biker getting swooped away gets me everytime
5:25 has the best refrence ever
2:04 I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Better than the second? Noooooo way dude. The second was my favorite. The FX still hold up more than this. Way better characters and plot. The build up and tension when they get stranded still sends chills down my spine today. Unbelievably disappointing that after 14 years this is what we get.
3:47-20:13 jeepers creepers 1 3 2 4 (chronigly)
That is the worse movie prop machine gun i've ever seen. They couldn't afford a M2 browning that shoots blanks?
nothing like the Original
9:35 #HIGHSCHOOLMUSICAL #ZOMBIES & #VIKINGS OH MY!
Great review of a mediocre film, Istill remember back when you had less than 8k subs and only did reviews on your off time. Great to see someone you like take off like they deserve!
Film not even mediocre it's trash
There is, it's coming out this fall. JC Reborn
I had no idea the Jeepers Creepers films take place in northern Florida until the time I type this.
The first 50 minutes of jeepers creepers 1 where possibly for me one of my most excited/terrifying experiences in horror. In 3 I couldn’t find 50 seconds 😂
R.I.P Brandon Smith actor of David Tubbs (1952-2023)
Id be so mad if forgot about my own traps too if my food started walking around after i thought i killed them.
This channel is so underrated. By the way, nice hair man.
Can't wait for decker to take a bite outta this movie lol
(Yes that was a bad joke and i feel bad for making it lol)
I love how nonplussed the Creeper looks in the thumbnail
yassss been wating for this review!
19:18, I was thinking of the same thing.
Thought the first two were very decent movies, loved the concept of the creeper (utterly terrified me as a youngster) but man was this horrendous... had me laughing far too much at how ridiculous the script was. Never seen so many loose ends in a movie I don’t believe before. Nothing mattered.
This is my favourite Decker review. I keep coming back to it as the jokes all continue to land after repeated viewings 😂
The Creeper is back and as moist as ever......ehhh
"Eat that booty like groceries" lol i fell the fuck out decker
3:45-19:19 soon is actually going 2 b 1 3 2 and then 4
The leather handbag they hired is actually a pretty good actress, I'm not going to lie!
Been waiting for this one!!!!
IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS WITH DECKER
Never thought I'd be laughing at jeepers creepers but part 3 was hilarious unintentionally
part 1 scared me good part 2 was great
Bullet proof tires
THATS NEW
19:16 that cracked me up
2:25Just realised but this is the yelling sound effect they use in every 21th century meme
This movie is what we like to call a Pre-Sequal

Is every truck in this movie ATLEAST 50 years old?? Not that I mind, but it seems like an extremely concentrated population of fully functional antique trucks...
I'm glad you did this review, I was curious about this movie, but after finding out what a fuck bag the director is, and the creepiest thing about this franchise, I can't bring myself to watch it.
Jesse Belisle honestly with a lot of stuff coming out of Hollywood vig names lately I've just started separating the creator from their works or i wouldn't see anything. just torrent it oKline and see it to judge it.
SomeIdiotWithAGame some of it I can, but I draw a line a child molestation.
Not watching it won't unmolest the children.
Lupus Rex not watching it won't add to his revenue either.
