Danielle, no one can imagine how hard it is on caregivers unless they were in the same position. My late husband I cared for with Alzheimer's. He was mean and I had to dress him, clean his teeth, bath him, and at the end feed him. He tried to sneak out at night. Not everyone can be a caretaker. Thank you for being an advocate for the Alzheimer's Association, if it was not for them, I would not have made it.

I can relate to Dr. Salinger's frustration of the noise in his ears. Ever since our wifi changed to 5g, the high frequency is constant in my ears and in my pets' ears. I unplug my wifi at night so we can all get some peaceful rest. I plug it back up the next morning.
It really astounds me how often people with dementia can ask the same question they just asked like 10 seconds ago.I asked my fiance's nephew who just became a doctor and he said "they lost their file cabinet."
Oh boy, is he getting back into his old routines already? Sounded and seemed like he was good the first couple days back. At least he still seems to be pretty calm and happy. You have such patience when answering his same questions over and over again just within a couple seconds or minute of telling him.

I'm thinking the pool in backyard had him picture himself in a hotel out in Vegas, like on a light fun gambling trip. Something of the sort. He woke up, looked at the surroundings best he could see, and imagined himself in Vegas. 💁🏼♀️⚘️

Danielle it has been many years since my mom and dad passed and while they did not have dementia they had health effects that mimicked dementia with their cancer. Bless you Dan and Danielle.❤❤❤
