I just found your channel and immediately subscribed and rang the bell! 😊 I have been binge watching since. Just a few things that I really enjoy about you and your content is how down to Earth you are and how you seem to make viewers feel at ease and not judged. Then, in this video, you mentioned that you are going to have a series that deals with the different perspectives people face in their efforts to keep a clean and organized home when they have chronic illness and/or depression and I was blown away! As a former social worker who served people with mental illness, chronic health conditions, and now as someone who lives with debilitating pain from chronic illness and depression, I am so moved that you took this population and its different perspectives into consideration. You now have a subscriber for life! I also plan on sharing your series and some of the great content you already have with some of my former colleagues to help them better reach and assist their clients. Thank you! Thank you! 😊💜
Wow! Thank you so much - I am sorry to hear of your current condition with pain. If you have any topics for suggestion, please feel free to share! I am always looking for new ways to help people. Welcome to the group 💙
This is cute.... When watching this video, I caught myself cleaning off my coffee and end tables. I ended up with a couple things to file and stuff to shred etc😊😊
I stumbled across your channel about a week ago and I have binge watched every video! (I'm on my second watch through them now!) I absolutely adore you! Love love love your tips and tricks to getting organized! I just need to get started! Uhhgggg! Soooo overwhelming! My home is BEYOND cluttered! I just need to set that timer and take on a "pile" at a time! THANK YOU so much for being such an inspiration to me so I can begin to be clutter free!
Thanks for watching, Jennie!!! Yes, just pick one thing... and make it a 15 min game of only looking for that 'like' item. Whether it's mail, laundry, craft items.... just focus on one 'category'. If you have time left and have collected all you can find, see if you can donate or put away the items you just gathered.
I also keep a small notebook for passwords, but then I worried that if someone were to break in my house they would then have all the passwords to everything. So I keep the notebook in a separate place from my laptop & hidden. Paranoid, I guess, but it makes me feel better. At work, though, I do store all those passwords online.
I just learned about you from someone on fb. I loved your tips and can’t wait To watch your other videos. Yes I want to be included in the drawing. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your transparency. I appreciate your honoring this time that your carve or for these videos. I live by the " just do it" slogan and started when a special mentor said it to me 30 yrs ago. I also know I can't do it alone so thank you for these videos!

Thank you so much for your tips. Cannot wait for your video for people with chronic pain. I struggle so hard just to keep my head above water. Downloading your habit tracker and going to try making one change a month.
My sister is very organized and declutters every month. She also says there's a place for everything. Me on the other hand, have a hard time decluttering. But it is my goal to declutter and reorganize everything in the next few months. I have finished my bedroom closet and drawers! I agree with the bed making every morning. I'd love to win your tote bag.
I love your idea about fining them for dirty dishes. I am actually going to make a sign that says "PLEASE leave your dirty dish in the sink. Fee $2.00" (reverse phycology). I had done it for a while with leaving the lights on and it worked because it added up .25 cents each time. Kids were more on top of turning off the lights after a week.
This is the first video of yours I've watched. I like that you use a lot of common sense. And, yea!! - I'm already one step ahead. I always make my bed before leaving my bedroom. I really like the address book idea for passwords. Right now, I'm using an Excel worksheet to keep track of them, but that means I have to open that file each time I can't remember a password. And, when I'm out and need a password, I have a copy on my phone, but it's a pain to get to. So, I'll be looking for a small address book today. I'm going to go watch another of your videos.
Hi really love your channel. Did you ever make a video for people with chronic diseases? I suffer from MS and am fatigued all of the time. I would really appreciate any tips or tricks for staying organized. Thanks so much ❤️❤️❤️Just found it!!!
One thing I do for passwords for programs and apps is put them in my contact list on my phone by the name --- very easy to locate, easy to update (I often put the date of update so that I know when it was updated).
I have been using a ‘give away’ box for several months..... both in the Time getting ready for my move and since my move in September. I have called it my “ Share Box” . Somehow calling it a share box seemed a little more friendly when I was having to give up things I really did not want to give up. ( I do admit tho, that sometimes things went in the share box because I was tired of trying to find places for things... I also found a teacher , several, who were able to use the art supplies.... it was much easier to share them when I knew they were going to kids who would enjoy using them!
Can't wait to see the new video. The struggle is real with chronic pain and depression. I've been watching videos trying to find a solution to this clutter problem. Just getting started is so overwhelming at times. Thanks for the motivation. Love that tote bag, so adorable, I'd love to win that!
Thank you for all of your helpful tips. I really look forward to your videos. The way your present them with such a positive & encouraging approach makes the tasks do able for me. Thank you.
I love watching you , and you have inspired me to start doing some decludering in my house I have started in my bedroom and I have turned a small spot in my garage into my crafting station and I would just love to get a chance to win your clutter fairy bag all the way here from Surrey British Columbia Canada
So glad to have found you, Clutter Fairy. Love your set, very organized, and love your heart in reaching out to all of us needing that gentle push to get going and stay going. Writing from Prince Edward Island, Canada.
I love your channel! You’ve inspired me to use the 15 minute timer to do stuff! I get a lot of squirrel moments (lol!) and this will help keep me focused on the task at hand. And yes, I would love to be a winner but not sure if this drawing has already been done.
Squirrel!!!! That is a phrase I completely identify with! LOL Glad the timer idea was a good fit for you. The Tote winner was chosen - but they haven't claimed it yet..... if I have to re-pick a winner, I'll let you know. :D
@@TheCraftyOrganizer No, haha, my mom and grandma told me. I think I saw a video about this too. Would you like me to share this with you if I see this again?
I have multiple TBIs and some days my head is clear (not my old self clear!) and others I remember family and some basics. Interested in what you have for the chronic pain group and if you have anything or tips for us TBIs. Some days when rain, snow or overcast I become useless and have to force myself back to bed before I injure my self..stumbling, walking into walls etc. Started a big purge in the house, attic & garage, it’s very emotionally & physically draining. My husband gave me a deadline Sept 1st which includes the uprooting our adhd & anxietied teenager to college +1300 miles away; selling his mother’s antiques, purging most of my belongings etc! I don’t think that there’s an emoji for what I’m going through!!
I would love your tote bag. I have different tote bags for different events. For instance, a bag for church where I keep my Bible and Sunday School book, a bag for my knitting when I take my grandchildren skating so that i can knit while they skate, a bag for crafting items when I meet with my crafting friends. There are slways uses for tote bags.
Great tips! I am 2 months out after my hip replacement and starting to feel like I can do more so I am going to be starting to organize my house! It's been a long time coming and I have a lot to get rid of so I will be watching your channel for tips! Thanks for the chance to win the Clutter Fairy Bag - it's so cute!
Thanks so much for your great videos....thanks for everything..... I use the address book for passwords but I put them on the back pages of each alphabet letter..(and addresses at the front).. Sure does help.. ..I am very interested in your drawings
I agree with your idea about the box to put everything in and then sort through. I do something similar, I call it my staging area. My house is very square and in the middle in my hallway there’s a counter, that’s my staging area because it’s in the middle of the house. Things that need to go to the bedroom, things that need to go to the garage, things that need to go to the kitchen, everything goes on that counter as a staging area and whenever I’m going to another room I just grab what’s on there and take it with me. I would love to win the tote bag.
Thank you Norrine for your channel. I am so happy I found you! Your ideas are easy to implement. Your password tip I love. I have been doing that for years, and writing in pencil also!! I would love to win the tote. For you, I hope you are able to achieve your dream!!! Again, thank you so much.
I would love some ideas how to store pants and sweaters, that do not need to be washed after one wear, but I also do not want to put them back to the closet or dresser with clean clothes.
Thank you so much. I am looking forward for the video of how to accomplish these when dealing with depression. Thank you so much for acknowledging that we simply handle small stuff differently. I have looked for content like this and am still on the hunt. So, I am really looking forward to that video!! Have a great day (-:
Oh my, the password book. I have been doing this for over a decade. In fact it's so faded and falling apart I need to transfer to a new book. I hear you on the stupid confirmations they do to make you jump through hoops. I hate that. It used to be all you needed was one email and one password. It's not conspiracy, those big companies have more power than you realize and by making things "easier" they are taking control from you. We need to encourage memorization skills. Of course we can't remember hundreds of words like you said so then this is the next best thing. I hate places that force you to change your password after a certain time and if they require my phone then I only give my land line. And if they catch on to that I won't use them. I'm thinking I need to do an off line old fashioned phone book too for people on my cell. We should not lose the skill of memorized phone numbers and address. It's pathetic how many kids don't know how to mail a letter or even their own address. I remember back when we had real speeches about safety and officer would visit schools and would tell us to learn our phone number and address so if we got lost we could find an address and tell them where we lived. Great survival skill there.
I love your videos. Also very interested in the upcoming ones. Listening to you talk is like talking to my neighbor, which I love. Thank you, and yes I want to be a winner of any prize.
My peak time is afternoon and evening..... When I get organized and area has open spaces for some reason i seem to think i need something there... Lol😁
Can't wait for the Chronic Pain And Depression-video... When you are making that video, please include some tips for people who suffers from ADD! Thank you 🙏🏻
When your older and have to deal with pain you have to do the same thing...just do it. I divided the time up to relieve the pain a bit and get back up again to finish. Some days it might take you longer but finally you are done. Also look for other ways that are quicker and faster.
@@TheCraftyOrganizer oh ok some people say they throw them away monthly after they pay off the bill. I've had problems in the past when they say randomly I owe money when I had it all paid up to date.
Hi,I'm interested in the planners printables but with cataracts I'm have g issues seeing to get them.is there anyway you could print them and I send you postage foe them?thanks...oh and the cost of printing of course.thanks
I've been working with my 86 year old widowed mother trying to get her to declutter her house. She lives in a mobile home, so there's not much room for storing things. Mom doesn't like to give anything away because "it cost a lot of money" and she wants to sell those items at a flea market or yard sale. Her "stuff" is good, but old, so no one wants to pay $50 for a bedspread that cost $200 15 years ago. How do I get her to get onboard to letting her things go and get rid of the clutter?
Oh, I wish I had an easy answer for you... I struggle with that every day with my own clients. I try and do a search for the item right in front of them, so they can see their (or similar items) selling for pennies on the dollar. Sometimes it helps them to realize it's just not worth it. Many times, they still want to try. The next best technique it to give it to someone who really needs it.... this 'feelgood' act is sometimes the perfect match. Good luck!
I have so much clutter, I don’t where to start. I’m going to use your tip, and ask myself if it has a home. If not, it’s going in the donation bag. Thanks for all your videos. I love your tote bag! Would love to win!
You shouldn't make your bed straight away, we loose a large amount of sweat through the night, your bed needs airing, so open the window and throw back those covers.
Thank you for all these tips. Would love to know how to cope with bits and bobs that come in that I would find useful for crafting. Cant always get to put them in place straight away. Would love to be entered. Thanks a million
Welcome, Christine! I am notorious for keeping things that "I might use later". But it's a little out of control right now.... I may do a video on organizing that, since you mentioned it. :) Good luck on winning the tote bag!
Start by recycling anything that is junk mail.... don't even let it into your house! Then open and discard all of the extra papers that come with the mail so it's just the important papers and envelopes (If you need them) I pay online, so I even throw those into my recycling bin. The hardest, but most important part, is staying on top of mail... Start today with this system and a 'holding box'... and spend 15 min a day going through older mail. You'll get through it in no time. :)
I crosscut shred anything which could possibly be used to steal my identity then throw away the rest because shredded paper fills up the trash bag much faster.
Yes - *keeping* things tidy is the real trick! I usually let things go, and then do a whirlwind clean-up - but that's no way to live! I like your idea of a holding bin - so often, I'll make a mental note about taking something back where it belongs, and then I get distracted by other tasks. One thing I'd like to suggest (that I use at work - I work in an office) is color coding! I like labels, too (thanks for your downloadable labels!!), but color coding really helps me visually organize my space. Another thing is to think unconventionally - do what actually works for YOU and your own routine or work flow. For example, I've always used a lazy susan to organize my spices in the kitchen. But...they would always be falling over and spilling stuff that I then have to clean up. So, I got some plastic bins from the dollar store that I keep on my counter, so that I can easily see what container I need, and because they're in a bin, they don't fall over. Yay!
Love the tote
Go girl!!!!👍👍👍
I like the comment "Kiss your house goodnight and it will smile at you in the morning."
How sweet is that! 😊

My kids grew up to a silly song I made up that contained their address, phone number, and emergency contact. They remember that song to this day! LOL
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Oh good idea. A catchy tune be it good or bad will stick with you.

I would like to be a winner of the tote bag.

When your older and have to deal with pain you have to do the same thing...just do it. I divided the time up to relieve the pain a bit and get back up again to finish. Some days it might take you longer but finally you are done. Also look for other ways that are quicker and faster.
How long do you keep paid bills?
3 months - unless you need them for taxes.
@@TheCraftyOrganizer oh ok some people say they throw them away monthly after they pay off the bill. I've had problems in the past when they say randomly I owe money when I had it all paid up to date.
I do the same thing with my passwords

Interesting... I will have to research this some more. Thanks, Linda!
Thank you!! I love the tips and would love to win a tote bag. Thank you Again!!♥️♥️
I love the Tote bag. But I lived in Singapore😊
Wow! Singapore?!?! That's so awesome!!!! I'd still send it ;) Good luck!!!
Thanks for taking the time to make this video! It was really helpful!!!!!!😊😊😊
Love the tote bag please include me in the drawing.thank you for your videos
Entered. Good Luck!
Mail it’s out of control and nothing I have try has worked. Please can you help me!
Thank you I like the idea of a holding spot. I will try that.
You've got this!!! Let me know how it goes :D
I crosscut shred anything which could possibly be used to steal my identity then throw away the rest because shredded paper fills up the trash bag much faster.
Great tips! I appreciate you and hope to win that adorable tote.
Thanks! Good luck!
Yay!
I always say do what works for YOU!!! It's the best rule to follow. :)
Love
Hi just found you. You do a good job, I need to do what you say. Thanks for being out there. Judie Hull
