Can you connect Text from iPad or iPhone to the Prompter or does this just work with a Computer?
Prompter is only able to be connected to a compatible PC, Mac, or Android device.
Does.the prompter have to be supported? Or can you mount a camera on a tripod and mount the printer to the lens?
If you do have to support the prompter then what is the capacity for camera + lens? What are the max dimensions?
Unless your lens is a smaller pancake style lens or if it's got a motorized zoom like some kit lenses have - you can mount the camera onto your tripod and just dock the prompter onto your camera and be good to go. Prompter does feature additional 1/4" threads on the bottom which can be used for extra support using flex arms or misc. items from Amazon - but generally that's only needed if you're mounting heavy accessories on the coldshoe mounts of prompter, or if the tripod you're mounting it on is on the weaker side.

That is 5 usb-c inputs to plug into a PC that still needs to include other things like a mouse, keyboard, etc. (wireless mouse and keyboards need their dongles to plug into, who uses bluetooth if they are gaming anyway)
I love Elgato products and this is great but OMG - The camera Hub is severely lacking and is in desperate need of providing the following: 1) The ability to import scripts. Currently, the ONLY way to create texts for the teleprompter is to PASTE IN TEXT. This really is a joke. I have a client coming to tomorrow and I cannot really use this app because I can't load in three different scripts. 2) Scroll speed. When the text is large, even at 100% scroll speed it is still too slow. 3) When I am scrolling for a client, I cannot see the screen. It would be great if there were a display in the camera hub which shows what is being displayed on the prompter so I can scroll for the client who is on camera. PLEASE tell me I am wrong about these issues or fix them. Thank you
So its a telepromter. The video makes it sound like its something completly new and outstanding. But this is literally just a normal telepromter. Sure its priced very competitively but its also tiny. I wouldve loved to see a take on an actual telepromter software. Maybe with automatic scrolling through voice detection. I know stuff like that already exists too but it doesnt work that well yet and that wouldve actually been a key selling feature in my opinion.

Expense is a relative concept. Will this product make you at least $300 in a year? If so, then it's free. If not, why do you need it?

Great idea but for stream cameras with filter on the front of the lens , it's dead
Many filters have an additional filter thread on top for stacking so could use both at once. You can also use the universal backplate which doesn't attach to your lens which allows you to keep your filter on as well.
Can't have everything. Are there other teleprompters on the market that will allow filters like you want?

Less than $300 for a teleprompter is too expensive? Find a cheaper one that does what this one does.
This is a lot of money for a large tablet and a mirror. Why not just do a Technology Connections and use an aftermarket tablet and a basic frame?
