Goa miles app is completely useless when the demand increases and also at late night or early morning. Between 12 midnight to 6 am, one can't get any vehicle through goa miles. This is based on my personal experience.
There's no denying that there's gonna some bias from your side as you own business in goa. Indian consumers are suckers for Value for Money. South Asian countries offer exactly what they're looking for. 5 star hotels that cost around 15k per night in Goa cost like 5k in those countries. You also get the international trip tag. So yes, this trend aint stopping.
Believe me in coming April and May 2025 you will not see any jump in tourist The local loot in terms of Hotel Prices Food and taxis / Cabs make sure the tourist do not favour GOA anymore
You spoke about Kerala, Bihar & Gujarat but do you know what, tourists don't get scammed, looted, beaten, threatened, mistreated & heckled in any of these 3 states. On other hand, all these things are rampant in Goa.
Hi preksha , very good work here. I have been following your journey through the ups and downs. All of that comes while being an entrepreneur. Don’t give up and you will reach a different level in a few years 👏
I have seen Goa in 1990's it was just fantastic..main reason we used to travel is beaches ,hippie and foreigners attraction ,drinks and food ..next was cheap hotels and not that much rush ..but today 2024 ..u see more goans are leasing other state people from taxi to pubs to hotels to shacks due to which lot of scam and intolerance has given way ,huge drop in foreign tourists due to safety issues ..i say govt of Goa ..bring old charm of 80's and 90's first clean all outsiders running these businesses and help goans to run it then only Goa survives otherwise ..already Gokarna is turning Goa ..it's next hot spot for everyone
@@pinkimahanta5870 so ... if Goans were rude Goa wont be Goa today. I meet a lot of Rude people across india. Does not define an entire state or City. Kindness is not the result of special sun rays on a geography.Sorry for wht you faced. May be they do not treat you well in the sense the employer tried to exploit you . still that does not define Goan ppl as all employers exploit.
Vietnam is giving much better amenities and better infra at a lower cost. Goa and other Indian destinations have much cheaper labor costs and yet cost more. Bring down the prices, improve the facilities and government must develop Diu, Daman, Lakshadweep and Andaman as beach destinations.
I know Goa won’t fade away, but it's hard to imagine it returning to its pre-Covid glory days. At the moment, countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam offer much better value-for-money travel experiences. I used to visit Goa at least twice a year until 2022, but now I've gotten accustomed to the hospitality and overall travel experience in Southeast Asia. Anything less than that just doesn't measure up. For just a slightly higher airfare from Hyderabad, I get far better accommodation, cleaner food and the best part is that they have Grab! (no haggling with the taxi mafia and Goa Miles never worked for me in Palolem or other souther beaches).I’m sure Goa will continue to see many regional tourists, but it’s unlikely to attract the same number of foreign visitors, or middle and upper-middle-class travelers who used to spend freely. I don’t mean to make class distinctions, but that’s just the reality.
The big problem is Taxi , you can't find auto for local travel Then food which is much more costly for no value in plate and offcourse Hotels with no clean rooms.
When you take a ride alone by cab its gonna be expensive,if people want cheaper transfer they can opt for bus.one in hundreds can say taxi mafia...you dont have 100% happy clients. Drop in europeans is there as british charters have not resumed fully since 2019.media saw this change now. There are plenty of domestic tourist in goa,but the infrastructure is so biig that goa needs bigger volume of tourists to feel full.
The tourism in Goa is declining because of ppl like u who came from Delhi to Goa, grabbed land from locals and build villa's which u are selling and renting for high price. Of course the government is also equally responsible for supporting Delhi land maafia rather than protecting Locals and providing good infrastructure like road, transportation, etc.
It's stupid for a non local Goan to advise local Goans on how to run tourism in Goa. The foreign tourism has gone down because of the influx of domestic migrants and tourists since the COVID lockdowns since 2019. If you're honest, talk about domestic tourists chasing foreign tourists on Goa's beaches and chasing them away for the safety concerns. It's the domestic migrants from other states and tourists. Guess you're Keralite so you're competing with Goa in foreign tourism. It's often the same thing in every state - competition for foreign tourism. If the influx of domestic tourists and migrants you will face the same issue with foreign tourism.
What kind of people you are,you left your polluted state and do your business in beautiful Goa and still you defame the image of it. Sorry but there is no need of your advice. Delhi waala has finished Goa already.
If Goan govt is really serious about reviving tourism, they should first control taxi mafia & allow uber, ola & other cab operating companies into Goa.. And Goans/Outsiders who are running various types of businesses should stop scamming & mistreating the tourists. Why would a batch of young boys prefer coming to goa and get scammed by businesses, looted by police & beaten by shack or pub owner when they can add little more money & go to Thailand?? Goan police have taken loot to the next level, they threaten tourists & pluck as much money as possible, so thinking that tourists will return back to goa & businesses will bloom again without addressing the reasons given by tourists for preferring other destinations over goa is foolishness. We know nothing is going to change, they don't care about the decline in tourists, their mindset is very clear "even if just one tourist comes let it be, I'll somehow scam that one person & fill my pockets". Even govt is wanting to reduce tourism, thats why they banned loud music at shacks after 10pm, govt wants to make money by selling forest lands to Adani for mining & fill their pockets. Forest mining lease showers more notes than forest safaris of tourists, our politicians know it very well...

Nice try dear.
As you have invested there you have to save your investment.
Examples you set are also relevant
You spoke about Kerala, Bihar & Gujarat but do you know what, tourists don't get scammed, looted, beaten, threatened, mistreated & heckled in any of these 3 states. On other hand, all these things are rampant in Goa.

You don't speak clearly about the Taxi mafia. That is the biggest pain point
Looks like she has invested on accommodations 😂😂
GOA tourism will be down by 2026 completely

it is ending because of taxi scam and rude locals.
locals are not rude . north indians are.
@@Liberty55555hey. East indian here who worked at varca club mahindra. Yes,goans are rude 😅

Ghatia chk the facts first, don’t comment anything useless here
Very good analysis ma'am. But in Goa public transport and economical cab fares is the current need. There should be competition by app based cabs.
Vietnam is giving much better amenities and better infra at a lower cost. Goa and other Indian destinations have much cheaper labor costs and yet cost more. Bring down the prices, improve the facilities and government must develop Diu, Daman, Lakshadweep and Andaman as beach destinations.
Goa is world famous in whole world ,proud to be born in Goa🌊🏖️🌴♥️

Goa lacks value for money and hospitality. Also, cab and transportation is complete mess.
First make Some toilets. We have to keep looking for one
Good that you researched a lot and showed it in the simplest way possible.
Looking forward to learning more from you. Keep it up 👍🏻
Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊
You did not address the elephant in the room, the greedy mafia devouring everything!
Good let goan people leave in peace
