They have seen the environment DESTROYED with rampant construction everywhere for all the people frim Indua moving into Goa. The locals volunteer to clean but a day later all the garbage accumulates. The carrying capacity has been exceeded 10 times over!! I just returned from Goa, where we go every year primarily to visit our family in a nearby state. While Goa’s beaches are among the best, it’s unfortunate to see how dirty they have become. Plastic waste, bottles, and scrap are scattered not only along the beaches but also throughout the cities. The police often seem more focused on finding minor mistakes to extract money rather than maintaining order. Restaurant prices are comparable to those in Western countries, and the taxi services are unreliable and overpriced. The roads are in poor condition, and hotel services are subpar, often run by individuals with little to no experience. Hygiene standards in restaurants are lacking, and taking an evening walk is difficult due to the absence of proper footpaths. Even where footpaths exist, they are often occupied by shop vendors or littered with garbage. The constant honking only adds to the chaos. Moreover, visiting Goa has become very expensive in recent years, making the experience less enjoyable overall.
With all respect to you Mr. Khaunte, YOU drive on any roads in Goa, whether internal or external, wild plants grown during the rains are still not cleared and the same plants are getting to grow into trees and waiting for the next rains. Panjim city has dirt and construction material all over to the naked eyes of the tourists. 😢The bridges have paper strewn over, where is the civic duty. Circulars should go from the government to the panchayats, municipalities to do their jobs of clearing the plant growth soon after the rains and within a time frame and before big festivals. Its sadly not done with Chathurthi, Diwali and not going to be done during Christmas and new year. Very sad for Goa. And if the government wants high number of tourists, then be prepared to get quantity and not quality. Very sad for Goa. 🙏🙏
Goa is alive because of it's remmitance economy like Kerala and because of real estate dealings. Tourism had ended long ago. Migrants are not be blamed as they are just filling in the space vacated by the locals. Locals, specifically catholics have flocked in foreign countries (most notably U.K).
As the Christian influence gets stamped out, the benefits of Sanatani culture will start to emerge in Goa.. we will see Goa resembling UP or Bihar.. Hinduism has a problem with structure and discipline, and this is quite evident in how a place becomes more disorganized and unclean as Hindu influence rises..
If you are a small State, act like one. If hotels and airports are full it doesn't mean that tourism is good! Because the roads are the size of Goa it doesnt mean that its great for tourism. People flying from North to South doesnt mean that they are laerning, feeling or knowing Goa and Goans. Please go from Panjum to Mapusa passed Porvorim which is the Ministers home land and see what a nightmare Goa has turned into. What does Goa do with its garbage, its sewerage which now flaws from the hill development and enters our sparce water table. In Panjim the Smart City and its surrounding areas we are dependent on tankers which supply dirty water which cannot be used for drinking.
The route from the airport to the hotel destination should be soothing to the eyes of any tourist, i.e being clean and well painted houses, is it ? The government should think and ponder over these questions. Circulars should be issued regularly to get all houses, buildings, etc painted compulsorily in the municipality and panchayat areas, every 5 years, failing which a heavy fine should be imposed. The fine should be above the cost of painting. For a successful and happy tourist destination, cleanliness and beauty of the land are sacrosanct. 🙏🙏

Last year I was on shirdi nadhik tour. One boy continuously follow us, forcibly told us to purchase this and that which is not requered? And finally told us to pay ₹२०००/- but I told him I don't want to pay, finally I paid ₹ ८००/- but it was very bad infrant of saibaba. And २, nd loot for checking of car air he told १३, punctures and we have to pay ₹ १३००/- in Goa I would fight, it was in m. H. Cannot do anything. Iam agreed in goa also lootmar is going on. But who are they? If anybody want to know the real friend ship between foreigner come to shapora village, the village called kaisuva, see the fireigners living like relatives in goan houses for years to gether.providing everything to foreigners. What a party!! Hippies and international backpackers, the Goa band and flea market and a great peaceful vibe, very affordable but very dirty. Raised latrines with pigs waiting underneath. Had stomach issues the whole time but learned to fast and still loved it. Have been researching going back for nostalgic reasons. Now the beaches are ugly and filthy and the infrastructure never improved. Quite obviously - especially listening to you guys - there's no peace there anymore so what's the point. Thailand and Indonesia are much more beautiful and much better value for money, so why put up with all the crap that Goa now seems to offer. Very Very High Charges by Taxi Operators & also Auto Charges. This is the Main reason every resident living in Goa however poor you are will be having their own vehicle. We need to differentiate Goa from other places of country in terms of tourism. People come to Goa for relaxation, Alcohol & party. This is the bitter truth. So, make tourism policies to suit the target customer like couples, group tours etc. If you make rule to shut down music at 10pm in the night, then who would visit to Goa. There must be some relaxation in this. At least allow beach side drinking, music & party till mid night with proper security and especially for outsiders. It's OK if someone comes to Goa in a year for relaxation & alco & driving without being intoxicated. If you impose fines on them, then why should people come. Goa must be made beautiful like Phuket or Pattaya & we should compete with them to attract more foreigners.

I just returned from Goa, where we go every year primarily to visit our family in a nearby state. While Goa’s beaches are among the best, it’s unfortunate to see how dirty they have become. Plastic waste, bottles, and scrap are scattered not only along the beaches but also throughout the cities. The police often seem more focused on finding minor mistakes to extract money rather than maintaining order. Restaurant prices are comparable to those in Western countries, and the taxi services are unreliable and overpriced. The roads are in poor condition, and hotel services are subpar, often run by individuals with little to no experience. Hygiene standards in restaurants are lacking, and taking an evening walk is difficult due to the absence of proper footpaths. Even where footpaths exist, they are often occupied by shop vendors or littered with garbage. The constant honking only adds to the chaos. Moreover, visiting Goa has become very expensive in recent years, making the experience less enjoyable overall.
With all respect to you Mr. Khaunte, YOU drive on any roads in Goa, whether internal or external, wild plants grown during the rains are still not cleared and the same plants are getting to grow into trees and waiting for the next rains. Panjim city has dirt and construction material all over to the naked eyes of the tourists. 😢The bridges have paper strewn over, where is the civic duty. Circulars should go from the government to the panchayats, municipalities to do their jobs of clearing the plant growth soon after the rains and within a time frame and before big festivals. Its sadly not done with Chathurthi, Diwali and not going to be done during Christmas and new year. Very sad for Goa. Please go from Panjum to Mapusa passed Porvorim which is the Ministers home land and see what a nightmare Goa has turned into. What does Goa do with its garbage, its sewerage which now flaws from the hill development and enters our sparce water table. In Panjim the Smart City and its surrounding areas we are dependent on tankers which supply dirty water which cannot be used for drinking.

The route from the airport to the hotel destination should be soothing to the eyes of any tourist, i.e being clean and well painted houses, is it ? The government should think and ponder over these questions. Circulars should be issued regularly to get all houses, buildings, etc painted compulsorily in the municipality and panchayat areas, every 5 years, failing which a heavy fine should be imposed. The fine should be above the cost of painting. For a successful and happy tourist destination, cleanliness and beauty of the land are sacrosanct. 🙏🙏

Last year I was on shirdi nadhik tour. One boy continuously follow us, forcibly told us to purchase this and that which is not requered? And finally told us to pay ₹२०००/- but I told him I don't want to pay, finally I paid ₹ ८००/- but it was very bad infrant of saibaba. And २, nd loot for checking of car air he told १३, punctures and we have to pay ₹ १३००/- in Goa I would fight, it was in m. H. Cannot do anything. Iam agreed in goa also lootmar is going on. But who are they? If anybody want to know the real friend ship between foreigner come to shapora village, the village called kaisuva, see the fireigners living like relatives in goan houses for years to gether.providing everything to foreigners. Went there for Christmas 1979. What a party!! Hippies and international backpackers, the Goa band and flea market and a great peaceful vibe, very affordable but very dirty. Raised latrines with pigs waiting underneath. Had stomach issues the whole time but learned to fast and still loved it. Have been researching going back for nostalgic reasons. Now the beaches are ugly and filthy and the infrastructure never improved. Quite obviously - especially listening to you guys - there's no peace there anymore so what's the point. Thailand and Indonesia are much more beautiful and much better value for money, so why put up with all the crap that Goa now seems to offer. The good world travelers are gone and Goa and me are never coming back. Thank you very much for this informative video which (finally) made up my mind. Aloha

We need to differentiate Goa from other places of country in terms of tourism. People come to Goa for relaxation, Alcohol & party. This is the bitter truth. So, make tourism policies to suit the target customer like couples, group tours etc. If you make rule to shut down music at 10pm in the night, then who would visit to Goa. There must be some relaxation in this. At least allow beach side drinking, music & party till mid night with proper security and especially for outsiders. It's OK if someone comes to Goa in a year for relaxation & alco & driving without being intoxicated. If you impose fines on them, then why should people come. Goa must be made beautiful like Phuket or Pattaya & we should compete with them to attract more foreigners.
