audi a6 3.0L TDI 274ps CRTD 2015 noise on engine

- only 67000 miles. full audi service history. it had the cam modification when it was 1 year old. has anyone got any idea about this noise sounds like hydraulic tapit or the dreaded timing chain??
Thanks for your comment I will remove the fuel injectors on that bank. possibly do a video or photos.👍I am not an expert on audi. I only know land rover .28 years master tec . So I got an audi because I didn't want to brake down all the time 🙄

Definitely camshafts. See TPI on CRTD/CRTE engines.
Could this be the camshaft cogs?
I sold the car after speaking with a audi engine guy. It was a ticking bankruptcy bomb. He told me all the things that happen with that engine. The early engine was very good this one bag of sh it .

Defective injector copper gasket

Hi I replaced the fuel injector washers and bolts one had a small gas leak from the copper washer. But the ticking sound is still present. It's probably a camshaft or hydraulic tap pit. I don't drive it much ,
@@tonyholts6941 hello, did you finally solve the problem? where did this sound come from? for me it is only heard when the engine is cold, when it is warm it disappears completely.
Noise was camshaft gears and the chain was worn. I put new injector seals in and it was still the same. It had the camshaft gear modification done at audi whecit had 17000 miles .te engine is not very good. I sold the car after speaking with a audi engine guy.
