I have 3 Toyota Supras. A 87,85, and 84. The 85 is kinda hot, the 84 ran great but had some minor problems--and so did I--so it sits outside under wraps for years. ;( The 87 had an exterior near perfect but the motor blew a rod. Sits in a secure garage for 18 years. Where's the best place to advertise a sale? Thank you.
so disappointed you didnt show the cool light on the cord in the center console. my dad bought on one these brand new, but it was an 86, right before the 86 1/2 new body style came out. my dads was black with grey leather. awsome car, it was his baby for many years. think he paid 18,500 for it.
Had a 85 1/2 fully loaded. Brought it off my dad. That and my 78 trans am best cars I ever owned. Supra stolen from the mean streets of nyc. Use to take mustang gt off the line till 4th gear chirping 2nd and 3rd. 2 tone silver and blue. Loved the movable light under the hood.
I must admit the car is a very nice piece! I have a 1985 Toyota Supra with 35,000 original miles on it! But I have to say that this car is slightly nicer than mine!
I am currently trying to sell my 1985 Toyota Supra! But I only want to deal with serious buyers, should you happen to know anyone looking to purchase a clean vehicle? Would you please be kind enough to contact me via email, then I will provide you with my phone number. theroaddogg26@hotmail.com. Thank you
Awesome! I went through 5 of them over the years, the nicest was a black 84 Texas car, all original lady's car, but a 5 speed with 18K miles (back in 88) I wish I'd kept it.
No doubt it's clean car but when it comes to my preference I like them in black or white, I have one with 50K Milles on it original miles , white and maroon leather inside so unique and hard to find all stock , I'm the second owner of my car, the car was purchased from united state, Novi michigan but i exported to Middle East now :-) Gotta make video of the car and keep you guys updated ..
aboood7080 god i hate supras with that ugly burgandy or however you spell it interior. trying to find a clean one with a black interior with leather has been pretty hard.
Looking at the 80's SUPRA; to me I feel like it looks like it should have DMC DELOREAN doors. Those type of doors would suit this vehicle better. It's like It's missing them or they forgot to put them on.

Just Arrived: www.webeautos.com/details-1982-toyota-supra-mkii-used-jt2ma67lxc0034963.html 1982 Toyota Supra MKII For Sale (P-Type) Performance Package As the original owner of this very clean Supra, I ordered new this first year MKII from Toyota of Orange in California and took delivery in late June of '82. I still have the original window sticker showing all equipment and options along with the original manual and color brochure. The car was used for my daily travel to work and such for the first 3 years and subsequently became my second vehicle beginning in 1985 and thereafter only being driven for fun and weekend trips throughout Southern California. This Supra has always been garaged, well cared for and kept in its' original stock appearance as delivered. This has been a great car to own, always reliable and is still an enjoyable ride today as it looks, handles and drives like it did back in the 80's! In 2011, after racking up 141k miles over 29 years, I decided to give the car a fresh start by having the engine brought back up to the original specs by a mechanical group in Indiana. I chose this firm to do the work based on my mechanic's recommendation of their expertise and ability to restore the engine to the original feel of operation. Along with the engine work, I had the air-conditioner serviced and seals replaced and the suspension renewed with new shocks, struts and bushings. This brought the car back up to a current high-level of performance and based on its current status at just over 4k miles since upgrading, this Supra would be reliable for daily use if needed. I considered driving it across country this past year when moving it to St. Louis where it currently resides, but chose for cosmetic reasons to have it transported in an enclosed carrier with a firm that transports exotic cars. My intentions have always been to hold on to this car, but due to career and travel, I feel it is time to pass this great MKII on to someone who will enjoy driving and taking care of this Supra as much as I have for many years to come! I've listed the history and current details below regarding the engine, exterior and interior. ENGINE: 2.8 liters 12-valve (2 valves per cylinder) DOHC 5M-GE IN-LINE 6 145 HP 5 speed manual gearbox - rear wheel drive Valve, cylinder and gasket work was performed in 2011 at 141K original miles. The AC unit was rebuilt and resealed at the time. Radiator/cooling system flushed and cleaned. Alternator replaced, new plugs/wires/distributor, transmission serviced, DOHC timing belts, with all systems reviewed, upgraded or replaced. I have a complete file of all the work that was done in 2011. EXTERIOR: This Supra still wears the original Toyota factory black paint. All rubber trim and hardware are original. Minimal touch-up paint has been applied to tiny chips on the hood due to regular highway wear. The car wore one of those popular vinyl bras from the time it was new until approx. 2004 which protected the long hood against road damage during most of the car's original mileage. Overall, the paint is in excellent shape due to being kept garaged at all times and has no rust issues whatsoever. All lights are functional including pop-up headlights, parking and fog lamps as well as side trim lighting and turn signals. Front and rear wipers are functional and feature variable speed option for front and rear. Side view mirrors are both automatic and working. This Supra has the sunroof option and works well. Door locks and windows are electric and working. Windshield was replaced once back in 1985 due to small cracking from a road rock strike and has the original design of the built-in antennae in the windshield. Equipped with the original 14" polished alloy rims. The tires are Dunlop radials, which is the brand this car came with as new. This is the third set of tires for this vehicle with less than 5k miles on the current set. This Supra has always handled well and averaged 70K miles from each set of tires. The spare is a space saver tire under the hatchback storage area with the original jack set stored on the left side behind the side cover. INTERIOR: Interior is in excellent shape with original black/grey striped cloth interior that was standard with the Performance Package. It has the original black carpet with black floor mats, the back-seat mats being the original pair, the front mats were replaced once. Front seats are the original Recaro sport seats which included many adjustment features and the pump-up lumbar support for the driver's seat. The small pump-up bulb next to the driver's seat which inflates the lumbar support in the seat is the only feature on the car that is currently not working as the small bladder inside the netting needs to be replaced which I haven't done as I never used this feature. These Recaro seats are one of the best features on this car for comfort and driving. The analog instrument panel, including gauges and digital clock all work accurately. Both the heater and air-conditioner work well, including the climate control feature. I do charge the AC unit each spring for maximum cooling and it works great. The cooling system is current. Defrosters for front and rear windows both work and the cruise controls are well placed and easy to use. The cigarette lighter works as intended. The black leather-wrapped steering wheel is original and in 80% good shape. There is some chaffing around the top and bottom of the wheel from natural wear and with a simple restoration kit can be brought back to the original look, which I had planned to do soon. Overall the leather is still soft and ply-able and offers a good grip. The same goes for the leather cover on the center armrest console. It needs a minor restoration when the steering wheel is done. These are the only two cosmetic issues that I feel need to be addressed with this car. The original stereo/amplifier unit was replaced in 1998 to include a CD/cassette option which was needed during the transition to CD's. The original 5-speaker/woofer system was upgraded with new speakers in 1998 as well. My next move with this would be to update again to a system that includes Bluetooth options for cell phone and music streaming to keep the media options current. The back hatch/trunk area features a roll-up cover behind the back seats that can be extended to close off the back-trunk area. What else can I say about this MKII. This Supra continues to turn heads with its dramatic chiseled styling and offers the driver a really fun driving experience. Just as Toyota intended for its new Supra back in 1982!
