Awesome. I just bought a 140K mile 01' GT-S last week. Scotty scared me away from them, but honestly talking to the Celica community, I think his worries about it are pretty over blown. I had a 2006 Honda Accord after owning a 1990 Toyota Camry. The Honda was a lot more powerful (160hp vs 100hp) but wasn't as fuel efficient (27mpg vs 30mpg hwy). Way more fun to drive and much easier to merge onto the freeway lol. The Accord had to have its catalytic converter replaced and the clutch went out at 200,000 miles (manual transmission). But 200,000 miles for a clutch is really not bad at all. CD player died but the A/C still worked. Anyways Honda makes great cars from my experience.
I had a '95 Celica, GT, with a 5-Speed Manual Transmission, and a powered Moon-Roof. Should never have let that one go; people don't value vehicles like I do...
@Benjamin Do Probably to late for advice but i bought a 99 gt and its given me zero issues 10000 miles later 145000 total miles. Only thing thats failed me was the wiper motor.

I got a 93 corolla and yes everything still works.. will start every time you turn the keys ♥
Hey scotty! I have a honda accord 2003 with 330,000 still with the original parts!!
Because THEY are actually the best car ever made. Shhh don't tell Scotty 😂
alexander bonilla my 2003 has 16,400 I just changed the oil today
Ya but it’s still NOT a Toyota Celica 😝
I have 05 Honda accord 232k.Same engine and body style as the 03.I swear it runs like almost new!
@@jamieh825 07 here. 206000k. Yep runs like new. 👍
The old Toyotas were brilliant. A guy in new Zealand clocked 2 million kilometres on a 1993 corolla a little while ago. And you would be amazed how original the car still is.
Very little needed to be replaced at all. Just the general maintenance, ,,and all wheel bearings were changed.
Amazing!
Pleaseeeeeees scotty kilmer don't talk more about the celica 94 they're going expensive since you talk about, the price going up and up and I will can't afford one one the future 🤣🤣🤣🤣
God bless you you're the best good man 👍👍
Manuel Piney I know!! I’ve wanted one forever and they’re going up
@@watchwithgramdalf Their resale is only like 1500 for a good example. I got mine for $680
Lmao i got a 91 for 300 bucks. Gotta find em sitting in people's backyard, prolly just needs a battery and drive away lmao.
*english has left the chat*
I think Scotty is trying to inflate the value of the celica so that he can sell his on eBay.
*edit: so he can buy a BMW M5 V10.
Scotty,do the neighbors know you’re a You Tube celebrity?😁👍
H Byrd nope they think he just likes to stand in his drive way and talk to himself
😂😂👍
Lol@Deadhorse
Deadhorse1 not to mention constantly repositioning the camera and talking to himself some more
I want to know what Hoovies neighbours think of him 🤔

Look at Scotty, bragging about his baby. Why am I not surprised. Lol!
I thought the very same thing. Haha
The way he feels about that Celica, that's how I feel about DC Acura Integras.
Integras is one of the best car ever made they r great
Everyone been waiting for this video😂😂. Time to read the comments😂😂. That 240k will be on that odometer for another 25 years🤣🤣🤣
Scotty time machine
What I want to know is does he drive the matrix mainly or the Celica mainly? I know the Lexus is his wife's, and the matrix is her old car. So who's is it now?
@@robitaill3 I think he drive the matrix. That celica won't ever make it to 245k😂😂😂😂
Thats so true. He probably puts less than 3000 miles on it every year. lol
Scotty: NEVER buy a rebuilt salvage car
Also Scotty: Every car I’ve ever owned was mismatched from being in previous accidents
😆
Ryan S Well he was the one who rebuilt it, so he’s not going to get scammed
He’s a mechanic that can fix it, most people aren’t mechanics.
I don't mind cars with rebuilt titles. But don't expect me to pay book for them either lol
Rebuilt salvage is different than a repaired vehicle..... -_-
@P. Spit
1. You can't drive a salvage car legally. You would need to repair it first and have it inspected by the government.
2. A rebuilt salvage title should still have the same liability only insurance rate.
When I have to leave this beautiful life I want to be buried in my beautiful '99 Alpine Silver Celica.
I just sold my '94, Iris Pearl Blue, Celica, which there will never be another.
"These are seat cover!! They really are!" Lmfao yes Scotty they look like regular cheap seat covers 😂
4:34 PS- U can get those gas shocks for ur trunk online for cheap now Scotty. I got some for my Camper Shell recently for $20. U can even get higher lb/force ones and they wont wear out as fast 👍🏻
Or cut a slit in some rubber hose & that will out last any shock
This was building up for years...
F*** it, we're going live!
:) Keep it up Scotty!
I've got a 2000 Celica. 150k miles, I keep it tuned up and the engine is still running great. Not burning any oil, I bring it up to 8k rpm frequently. Still no problems
Awesome. I just bought a 140K mile 01' GT-S last week.
Scotty scared me away from them, but honestly talking to the Celica community, I think his worries about it are pretty over blown. Those babies go at least to 350K if you really take care of them which I'm planning on doing. The best part is you get a crazy high revving fast fun car that's still very reliable! Really love my Celica.
@@rushnerd I already sold my Celica, miss it every day. Honestly the most fun car I've ever had. Not the fastest, but a lot of fun. As long as there isn't much rust you are fine. Mine rusted out at around 200,000. Engine still ran like new
@@joelmatousek1817 Ahh I see why you sold it then. I'm in Oregon so we have very very little in the way of rust. Even my 88' Supra is rust-free.

@@rushnerd 2008 MK5 gti. This car definitely has a lot more torque and horsepower. But it trade it back in a heart beat

I have a 2007 Honda manual Civic coupe EX! With over 298,000 miles!!!!!! Everything still works like new!!!
Yea but its not a Toyota.....haha
Yea and that toyota will be jealous of that honda's new valve adjustment.
Hondas are the way to go man👍 my brother has an Ex with 360k on the clock.. They just run lmao
The engine space is more limited on the 07 Civic than the Toyota Celica.
The internet has been waiting for this video for years
I had a '95 Celica, GT, with a 5-Speed Manual Transmission, and a powered Moon-Roof. Should never have let that one go; people don't value vehicles like I do...

@Benjamin Do Probably to late for advice but i bought a 99 gt and its given me zero issues 10000 miles later 145000 total miles. Only thing thats failed me was the wiper motor.
@Benjamin Do 9 months late, but I've heard almost nothing but good things about the 5SFE. It supposedly burns a little oil but people get 500K+ miles out of that motor if you take care of it

@@chesshooligan1282 110bhp is barely enough to keep up with modern traffic.

I don't know what kind of traffic you drive in. 110 HP can take a car to 200 km/h, which is an illegal speed in more than 99% of the world.

Nobzzy 😂😂😂😂
I just acquired one of these cars for a days work. I was going to sell it.. then i drove it.. and in a way, scottys right, it's one of the best cars ever considering all factors. Now it's my favorite car ive ever had. You'd have to drive one to see
I had a mint condition 1979 Toyota Celica GT 5 speed transmission with a 22R engine. To me it was the best Celica ever.
It is surely a sweet ride. The 22R is one of the most bulletproof engine ever.
22 r you can get a million miles out of it
I got a 1988 Toyota Pickup ( before it was the Tacoma) has a 22R in it, that thing will never die! And it’s so damn easy to work on too.
Prelude vtec are also pretty good, and have 180hp :)
Or Honda Accord 2.2 type R best car I've ever owned 150mph top speed too
But my question is…
Is that a Celica?!
I just got 95 GT convertible celica. LORD willing it will be a excellent little car. Great deal an I needed it honestly, HUGE blessing right now. Nice video Scotty❤
That celica is always broken because it is always in the back of the driveway with the hood open
Naw, he's just stealing parts off the Celica to keep all the other cars running.
Matt G no it's not! Its hardly ever driven and Damned it looks great for its age! No dents, rust, faded paint... But so what! He should get a good professional Detail on her... Bet she'd come out looking great!👍👍
got a 1990 just turned 300,000 miles and it's the only one of 4 vehicles with the hood down.
It has no dents because he fixed it
If you noticed my comment, it said THAT celica, not anyone else's celica.
