    - ABOUT THIS VIDEO -
Give no justification for a guest to look about your house. A trustworthy exterior security camera that records activities whether you are present or not can readily stop crimes like burglary or porch pirating. When they are placed around the house in strategic locations from higher viewpoints, they are much more useful. Even exterior cameras that are great for backyard outings and ones that can keep an eye on your house even when the power goes out are available.
Numerous home security cameras, including night vision and waterproof variants as well as more expensive, more secure models, have all been examined by us.

I'll tell you. Eufy uploads facial recognition and all your video to their cloud secretly, no option to disable, over an un-encrypted connection, and the streaming URL is open to anyone on your network. What's more, an intruder can simply press the sync/reset button on the camera for 8 seconds, and that not only removes the camera from your system but also removes ALL footage from that camera. Yeah, no thanks, this is spyware and trash, shit for security. Eufy has known about this for over a year, and is refusing to fix it.

Well, im dissapointed with the motion blur on the Wyze v3.. Playback an object in motion and its loaded with digital motion blur because of the compression.
I think Wyze has great products but they just aren't quite perfect. The Wyze v2 cams have great video without motion blur but they constantly (some) go offline and need to be manually deleted then re added to work again.

They are in different locations on different net works, the company has told me they will let me return them because it is a software issued they cannot seem to fix. My cameras no longer have the play back option, they are missing many hours of video footage, you can not fwd or Rewind, they show zero events all the time, a few of them will pick up small motions but miss a human being standing right infront of them. The good things: image is very good, and they were easy to use and set up when they worked for the first month, the app is user friendly, and the battery ones need to be charged about 3 times a year.

I have Eufy and Google, you missed a big selling tactic with Google. All those cameras are VMD (Video Motion Detection clips) which Eufy's highest is only 2 minutes. You miss alot by that time and having a minute delay. Google opts for 24/7 recordings with 10 day loops. Many criminals cut the green cord off your wifi to stop cameras from recording. Google btw also has facial recognition. Eufy is working on threat detection more right now too.

All These webcams are constantly linked to the cloud and as a result cause excessive use of your data plan. If your plan don’t have unlimited data then be prepared to pay for overages as well as cloud storage plans. Your best bet is to get a NVR camera system that stores your recordings locally.

DONOT get Arlo cameras! I've had arlo cameras for a few years, but since their last firmware update, all but one of the cameras are glitching and cannot stay focused. Contacted arlo support and they actually said i have too many arlo cameras. I've had the same number of cameras and they worked fine until a few weeks ago. Arlo support is absolutely useless! So I'm looking at eufy to replace the arlo cams.

I purchased a Wyze Cam 3, about 2 yrs ago. It worked fine mounted out of the weather under my front porch roof until about a week ago when it would no longer connect to my network. I have 4 other Wyze cams and they work fine, with some connection outages from time to time on the 2 battery operated models. One new Wyze Pan Cam and another Cam v3 model. Nothing has changed with my network, Wyze tried to tell me it won't work with a 5g network, but no changes to my network for over 2 years. Anyone out there know what the issue might be? Thanks

Unfortunately for us (because I have wyze cam also) the people working for them don’t KNO kno or understand how their cameras work at all they just type out repeated scripts for certain situations. I also have a lot of connectivity issues as well. The only one I have connected at the moment is one of them because I decided to switch I can’t trust that these will be working or connected when needed

One of the dumbest tech decisions I ever made is buying the 1st generation Arlo cameras when they first came out. Using the weird and unstable 123 or the bigger ones i can never remember except how expensive and how one or 2 will drain within a month, another huge mistake is ring cam which is totally useless without a subscription you cant view your own content without paying 🙄

The video title is quite misleading. All the cameras mentioned are mass marketed consumer cloud cameras, not high quality security cameras that use POE and an NVR. Anyone serious about video security is not going to use any of the cameras mentioned in the video, so to say these are the "best outdoor security cameras" is completely ridiculous.

I will say this much...broadly, there are two tiers of outdoor security cameras, this video is only discussing inexpensive lower tier cloud cameras, yet it is titled "Best Outdoor Security Cameras". If they titled it "Best Low Cost outdoor Security Cameras" or "Best Entry Level Outdoor Security Cameras", then the title would be appropriate.

I appreciate the presentation, but before I make a decision, I think I'll also check out the SimpliSafe outdoor camera. If your narrator didn't have such a pronounced accent, I would have been able to understand him better. Some of his words I wasn't sure about, and it left me with thinking about what he said rather than paying attention to his continuing narration.

I have five Nest Cameras from Google. Some are from an older generation when Nest was a separate company and their features are a lot better than the second generation of cameras sold by Google. With the present second generation of cameras, it is impossible to create personnal clips of videos, only selected clips from event driven occurences created by the camera. You miss vital important information with the event driven clips and the videos become unsusable. Also, the clips created lack a timeline of events which is invaluable for law enforcement. I am presently looking for Ring cameras for my girlfriend as the Nest cameras are not up to parr anymore.
