Basically, it cost about $179. for replacement camera after purchasing the control center with 2 camera's for $446 last year.
Resetting the camera by holding down a button is a dealbreaker. There should be security questions & a code to your phone, like 2-factor authentication.

Great review Reed. Nice to see the home base improvements, and nice to see Eufy move away from the cloud. Until they embrace Home Assistant, I will have to look elsewhere, which is a pity. They seem to have done a great job on the solar support.
Bad choice of Eufy, not to support HomeKit. Where other brands are supporting more and more platforms instead of centralizing on only there own, is Eufy now narrowing down. Definitely a dealbreaker for me. I would at least wanna be able to see the live footage of the cams in HomeKit, where I would also control my outside lighting and locking for security
I appreciate your detailed reviews. Eufy is improving it's lineup which should cause other brands like Reolink to expand and improve their cameras. Competition is good for consumers. You did a review of Reolink's Duo 2. I bought one, I like it.
I have a question. If the camera dose not detect beyond 30' and can't do continuous recording. Why would it matter how good the camera resolves images 50 to 60' away? That would only matter if you were able to record live?
Never ever buy something on the promise of features in the future. It rarely happens. If anything, they'd release a new version if that time comes (with the excusing being the older hardware doesn't support it and can't be upgraded). Wait until they have homekit support not just announced, but IRL before buying (if that's a priority).
@@ivanzirdum2080 I know that’s true. Thank you! But I kind of trust Anker/Eufy. They at least will try before disappointing us :). I completely agree with you though, it’s completely true

As of this writing, none of their wired doorbells even work with Homebase 3 and more than half of their products wont until April 2023 or later!? Good to hear about the non subscription model, my Garmin dashcam works well but Garmin discontinued their PC management program in preference to a sucky phone app which relies on a subscription and realize that Garmin’s business model is relying on subscription services and the PC management program is out of date.
Hi there, I have just taken delivery of the Cam 3 4xpack (S330) and still need to set up. However i have read a lot of reports regarding the solar panels delaminationg within 3-4 months and cameras not holding there charge - in full sunlight? More disturbing, is official response from Eufy not replacing this whicle still under the 1 year Warrantee. I am now wondering if I made the incorrect choice? Maybe i should have gone for Arlo?
Same boat here i did cancel my order including the E340 floodlight.... in the end i would have to buy aftermarket solar panel or scrap the solar panel with delimitation which seems to happens fast. Issue there is that most (if not all reviewers) got the Cameras for free and sponsored, you can spot it immediately in the video description ... so they influence to buy products without telling real case or issues. I did went Reolink way with Duo 2 wifi and Argus 3 Ultra
I still can’t get my Eufy floodlight camera to work with Alexa. Will the Eufy home base help with that? All I want is for my Alexa devices to announce when it sees something on the camera…
Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.
can this camera distinguish AT NIGHT between human and pet, so I get alerts only for humans? Eufy 2 could not do it (due to only infra-red night mode). thanks
I have two different Eufy cameras, do the new ones record approaching objects or only objects when they are moving away? I notice most of your footage has you moving away, mine are real good at recording traffic crossing field of view at end of 40" driveway but will not record an object pulling in driveway...only records when they leave.. If anyone knows a setting to fix this let us know, Eufy CSR's don't know a fix.
Do these cameras function 100% offline? Can they be deployed and configured at a site with NO internet access? (Obviously remotely viewing would not be possible, but local?)
So I was wondering if there was a way to set the duration of the clip time? There set to 17 sec and I want more time. I can't seem to find the option in the settings 🤷
Simple question that I can't seem to get answered: Can you record 24/7? And when the space fills up in the hard drive you can just loop around it? I do not want "clips" only when it "detects" motion. I want 24/7 that I can access at any time? Otherwise, seems like a product I may buy
No battery camera records in 24/7 unless it's wired. With the nest cam you can get 24/7 if you use a power cord with the nest cam, but the storage on the cloud is temporary
I would suggest you ReoLink cameras. They're hard wired, have fantastic quality video and are cheaper than most cameras in the market rn. They have basic AI human detection and have a ton of options in the app. They come with 256mb SD card storage and can record up to 6 full days before rewriting everything again. In the app you can see the whole day, with human events highlighted in different color for an easy search and trim clips if you want. And you have the option to use a device to continous save everything too (but keep in mind 24/7 storage can be really expensive, realistically you can't save more than three months in home cameras)
What I like about the EufyCam 3 and HomeBase3 is both the improved resolution of the camera and the ability to store significant amounts of video on your own home-based system without going to the cloud, or incurring a subscription. Keep up the good work!
This sounded like the perfect camera until the no HomeKit integration. May be minor to most people but rather important to me. If they change this it will be an instant buy from me, if not I’ll just keep looking.
Just found your channel. Great video. I am slowly switching all my Arlo cameras to Eufy. You can't beat the quality for the price point. Keep up the good work.
Looks very promising, but I can’t believe Eufy is ignoring the reset button security flaw. It was mentioned here in several comments. Not sure which is worse, the security flaw or Eufy ignoring the issue along with every customer inquiry. If there is an answer can you please share or point to it? Is it possible you could get us an answer? Do you have an opinion? Are you ok with this issue? Seems like a show stopper.
Arlo Ultras, which are 4k, work in HomeKit. When streaming, they do get resized to 1080P. So it’s not a limitation from Apple, it’s Eufy not coding for the stream change.
I got the first Eufy cams through their initial Kickstarter page. They promised to add Apple HomeKit support right up to when they released the 2nd version and dropped support for the original. The next lot of cameras had terrible battery life or didn't work with Homebase, preferring to use onboard storage (terrible idea). I was really hoping they would eventually get it right and then they remove HomeKit. Ffs. Knowing how they lie about adding features retroactively, I will definitely wait until HomeKit is added before replacing my four Eufy 1 cameras.
I bought two Eufy 2k wireless cameras, and one barely holds a charge for more than 3 days. I bought the eufy solar panel but that only gives the camera an extra day or two of life. Its great when it works but talk about a MUCH shorter than expected battery life.
It looks like a nice camera but anything that I can't tie in with Home Assistant(rtsp would be great) at all is out for me. I recognize power is an issue but at least being able to make an api call when something's triggered would be an improvement.
I’m kinda bummed that I recently purchased the Home Base 2 after seeing this. Oh well it’s still a great platform. The thing about being able to potentially record video for 60 years using the larger HD will only apply if your have just one camera. If you’re a business and have a dozen or so or even just a homeowner with multiples you won’t be getting this long of recording capabilities.
Yes kind of a dealbreaker @10:40 that all evidence videos stored locally will be erased via the reset button without any kind of protection i.e. password or 2FA, baffling that Eufy still hasn't addressed this counter intuitive issue for a security camera/product despite the big complaints, at least make it optionally available to enable 2FA or similar, if maintaining an easy reset out of the box is the higher priority.
3:56 Sadly the higher resolution will not be of use due to the motion sensor can not reach past 27feet to trigger a recording/notification. So unless you are actively doing a manual recording anything past 27feet from the camera (even if it is in camera view) will not be recorded. Have not seen any UA-cam reviewer mention/address that sad design decision that Eufy has made here. I like the idea of the product but that made me return them right away efter testing and finding that out.
I would love to know how any Eufy solar-powered camera performs in the PNW---specifically, the western side of Washington (state) where we don't often have any clear sunlight in the Fall thru early Spring months. We do have bright skies but they are overcast. Has Eufy done any testing in those kind of conditions and if so, where can I find out how they performed?
Hey Reed, I'm sure you're aware of the upcoming SmartThings platform change in October. Supposedly custom device handlers will no longer function, which would kill a lot of useful integrations (Aqara Door/Window Sensor, HomeSeer Mult-sensor, etc). Would love for you to cover how you plan to navigate this. Thanks for all your great insights!
@@stevelaminack1516 I've been using it for years. No Update has yet killed something important. You have to live with compromises if you want flexibility and a lot of things supported. It has also gotten a lot better in terms of UI and setting up things without programming knowledge.
I had the eufy 2k pro kit with homebase and the wifi range on the base was appalling the first camera connected and worked great but the second camera situated 30mtrs away across our garden wouldn’t get a signal , yet my home broadband router beams out there no probs at all, i ended up sending the system back , shame really cos i liked the cameras a lot, nice video by the way
Contrary to what you said, it doesn’t appear that Eufy has any plan to integrate any of their wired doorbell cameras to HomeBase 3, or HomeKit for that matter. These, and their lackluster audio quality, remain like thorns in their side. Eufy is close to perfect, but not quite there yet. I also dislike not being able to view more than one live camera view at a time, on any dashboard for instance.
Does the new camera still have the sync button issue. All eufys old devices and I mean all still have an issue where if someone presses the sync button for 10secs it deletes all the footage from that device. This means a their could just steal the cameras too and press the sync button and there would be no footage .
Would have been awesome review had he given a “distance” on street view, etc. So far, 4K & 8K suck for bird watching @ 17’ - all blurred - not even as good as his street view. Bought 2 cam kit - both zoom very lacking.
My backyard gets amazing sunlight. I have used 4 Zumimall solar cams for 3 years and the batteries are always at 100% with micro card storage. If they didn't cloud over over time, you wouldn't have talked me into buying these Eufy's. How do they connect to wifi? 2.4 or 5 or does it matter?
Thank you for the video. Two questions, what is the actual and usable range of the cameras to the hub and the reliability of solar charging performance? All systems like I tried the cameras never charge enough and all end up without power during overcast days and worse, never have enough range to connect to the hub unless they are very near. I have a ranch house where the cameras outside are all very far away from each other and the hub and this is all useless and never works. I am yet to find ONE wireless camera security system that actually works unless they are old fashion wired systems.
How is the range from base station to cam? Example 4 sides to 3000 sq ft house. Base station in middle with 4 cams on all sides. Does it work? I read 30 ft max. Is that accurate? If the range is no good, can I buy a second base and ethernet cable it to the router or a mesh node with a LAN port?
I like being able to add existing cams to the new home base, but I’m assuming then the 2 and 2c would lose HomeKit ability as I believe HomeKit is based off of base and not camera. ☹️
How many homebases can you install? Do they connect to each other wirelessly, or should all of the be connected with ethernet? I am wondering, if buying 4 cameras, placed on the edges of a big single layer house, would it be sufficient (signal) for all of the cameras? If not, how to manage the issue? Thanks for your wonderful reviews.
That reset problem is definitely an issue. I guess it could be worked around slightly by glueing a washer over the reset button so it can't be pressed by hand, leaving just enough space for a pin to press it. It's not foolproof but maybe it would buy enough time to capture the persons face before they realised they can't reset it on the scene.
Great video! I'm considering buying these cameras for my home, but I realize they aren't that new since you bought them two years ago. Would you still recommend them? The camera you placed on the north side, which gets little direct sunlight, has it ever had charging issues? Does that bug with resetting the video using the camera's button still exist? thanks in advance
Seems like an easy fix for security. Just add an algorithm in there when resetting it you have to be no more than a foot away from the home base or only allow a reset on your phone app or on the physical home base instead of the camera. Also send a two step verification code when attempting to reset.
Major downer with it not supporting Apple Homekit. The 2C Pro supported it albeit at 1080p only, but it still supported it. But you can still use the Eufy App anyway at full 4K resolution right?
Same size battery, but the solar panel looks smaller? 16 TB is a HUGE amount of space, for one camera. I bet Eufy was thinking about people who might have 12 or more cameras. Still a lot of storage but who knows how much storage future cameras will need for higher resolutions. I'm interested, when the price lowers some.
I think it would awesome for you to check out and review Blue Iris. For the technically inclined, it has some pretty decent features for smart home integration. There's also a lot of compatible cameras.
I like eufy because you don't have to pay a monthly fee. We've had good luck with their cameras in the past so we ordered a couple 330's with the solar and a few 300's for indoors along with a 1 tb ssd for the base station.
Do these have sound activation like say a dog barking? Or what is a video activation in footage? I need a camera to detect a neighbors dog barking. he is about 50 ft away. Or is the google nest wireless with cable and subscribtion the only one that offers sound activation?
Will linking the older indoor 2k cameras with the new homebase 3 allow them to be armed and disarmed as part of the security alarm system? If so this will be a great upgrade.
Do the cameras connect via Wi-Fi or directly to the home base. I’d like to have the home base by my network rack in basement and take advantage of my access points throughout the property.
Poor Luna. Thank you for this video. I was not considering security cameras, but now I am. Really good deals on the 2 Euphy cams but I like the features of this camera. Of course since it is new NOT on sale. We don't have motion lights so thinking this should be added first. Going to look thru your website to see what you suggest. I love Euphy products. Thank you.
I want to know that Eufy Cam 3 comes with Homebase-2 or Homebase-3? Moreover I would like to know that how long this Eufy Cam 3 solar camera could run without sunlight? (As if I installed them inside my garage where there is no sunlight. Please guide me, Thanks.
Great video as always. This may have been asked but do you know what the recording lag is like? My existing battery powered cams have a terrible lag before they record but I’d be keen to know if this is any better.
I have a EufyCam 2 system. Really like the idea of local storage and assumed it would operate if my Internet went down. Was very disappointed to learn that the only thing my Eufy system will do without Internet (local Wifi only) is live streaming. No detection, recording or notifications. In fact all the wireless systems I've know of have the same problem. I don't get it. Why with local storage and a base station does the system need the Internet? It shouldn't. I assume the EufyCam 3 system works the same way.
I have a few Eufy cameras for an apartment I have in another state. I just ordered some additional ones but was notified 3 days ago that the order was being returned by the carrier - assumed because of damage during shipment to the box/container. Good for me because now I'm going to be ordering these updated ones instead. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the review and thanks for mentioning the terrible sync button vulnerability, hopefully they fix that soon. After the Eufy privacy breach last year I tried to disconnect my Homebase 2 from the net, but found I could no longer use the app to view recordings or cameras as it relied on the Eufy cloud for authentication. Do you know if the Homebase 3 and cams can be disconnected from the internet, or do they still need the cloud for authentication?
In the "Smart Home Integration" section all you mention is what it DOESNT do. What does it do with Google and Alexa? Alerts, live video, view recordings, automations?
Half-way through the video and I'm adding a pack of these to my Amazon basket, get to the end and I'm emptying the basket. You can't view the footage if the camera is stolen and de-synced? That's a glaring hole in the security.
Thanks for the video. I have a wired (battery) video doorbell and 2x Eufycam 2 pro. I'm thinking of adding an extra Eufycam 2 Pro, but maybe it's worth getting the Homebase 3 + 1x Eufycam 3 instead 😬. What I was concerned about was what you said at 10:40. Is this also a problem on the Eufycam 2 Pro. Can an unwanted person delete their own video by pressing the button 😱?
Did Eufy fix the resetting problem? (if the camera was stolen and hold down the sync button then all the footage of camera will be erased from the home base)
I'm loving my Eufy dual doorbell camera, but I wish it could push a feed to an Echo Show when it detects motion at the front door. Waiting for the notification, finding the phone, calling up the video takes a lot longer than simply going to the door and looking. Also wish they would fix the local feed in a browser. I'm looking at the base on my desk yet I can't access it directly or with speed. ...if it works at all. Still better than Ring, tho.
Can i hook it up to my existing NVR… if not, then I cant’t use it. And there should be 24/7 recording option when i can powered it on and hook it on to my NVR. Does it use WiFi 5Ghz, that is a mandatory need in my neighborhood.
One thing I don’t like about my interior eufy cameras is that their alarm can’t be triggered in the eufy automations. Now that they can hopefully soon connect to the HomeBase, will they be able to be used as automation triggers?
I was really excited to see these new cameras, I already have eufy doorbells and 5 2k cameras. I was going to do some upgrading with the new base and replace at least 2 of the cameras but the lack of homekit is a deal breaker. I already had to do some home bridge patching to get the doorbells on homekit and they are a little glitchy .
I've searched Eufy site and google for this question, how do you use the expandable storage? I bought an ssd to go in there but I can't figure out how to access it or store all videos on it. I assumed once the ssd is installed into the homebase 3 it would detect it and store all video on it, but thats not the case. Is the expandable storage just to archive videos/clips to it? If so, that's useless to me.
Did you ever try the RTSP? Do the new cameras have it, or is that what you mean that they don't work with HomeKit? It seems that the RTSP to NAS might be the only way to be sure the sync reset can't damage the footage if the camera is stolen.
For me one of the things that is a concern to me is whether the Wifi signal will reach the corner of the house where I would want to put these. I am not sure you covered the connectivity. Do the cameras need to connect to wifi or do they only need to connect to the base station through a separate connection?
My question is if its possible to connect a solar panel to the usb C Port? Say if my camera is hidden under an awning can I add a solar panel extension to keep it charged better?
I truly enjoyed your review, this will probably push me to add this system to my home. You mentioned the pole mounts however I could not find your link.
I'm guessing the notification from face detection is because it's more for looking through things after. Doing it real time on 4k footage would take crazy processing power. It's probably about video processing time and a trade off between late notifications vs quick ones with less info.
Great writeup. Time to get rid of my useless camera I have had for several years now. Two of the 3 brands still work well but one is a regrettable decision moment one I will definitely check these out. Thank you.

and good for the CCP and their criminal activities to have international customers buying their surveillance products
Great camera, love the expanded storage feature and the solar panels but that push-button erase feature needs to be addressed
I have a question. If the camera dose not detect beyond 30' and can't do continuous recording. Why would it matter how good the camera resolves images 50 to 60' away? That would only matter if you were able to record live?
I think I will get it, but a dealbreaker for me is the lack of matter or HomeKit support. Maybe in a future software update?
Never ever buy something on the promise of features in the future. It rarely happens. If anything, they'd release a new version if that time comes (with the excusing being the older hardware doesn't support it and can't be upgraded). Wait until they have homekit support not just announced, but IRL before buying (if that's a priority).
@@ivanzirdum2080 I know that’s true. Thank you! But I kind of trust Anker/Eufy. They at least will try before disappointing us :). I completely agree with you though, it’s completely true
@@prabjotusa trusting Eufy is a fool’s errand. Look at the track record of empty “promises” since they were on kickstarter! There are features / integrations that they promised with Homebase 2 that aren’t even available yet with the brand new Homebase 3! As of this writing, none of their wired doorbells even work with Homebase 3 and more than half of their products wont until April 2023 or later!? I don’t know why they release a Homebase a year before it’s able to do what it’s promising to do. Weird strategy imo.
@@victorvek5227 yeah you’re right! Thanks for sharing your assessment! I appreciate it
Good to hear about the non subscription model, my Garmin dashcam works well but Garmin discontinued their PC management program in preference to a sucky phone app which relies on a subscription and realize that Garmin’s business model is relying on subscription services and the PC management program is out of date.
Eufy cameras are getting more and more appealing. If only the doorbell would support an existing chime I'd get into their ecosystem.
Their battery operated doorbell can be wired into an existing chime. I bought one for my original 1950's door chime and it works great!
Does the base unit have its own built-in Wi-Fi or is it using your home's internet Wi-Fi?
This sounded like the perfect camera until the no HomeKit integration. May be minor to most people but rather important to me. If they change this it will be an instant buy from me, if not I’ll just keep looking.
Same man what a bummer
Just found your channel. Great video. I am slowly switching all my Arlo cameras to Eufy. You can't beat the quality for the price point. Keep up the good work.
Yes, and the customer support form Arlo sucks!
I would love to upgrade my eufy cam 2, but without HomeKit support i wont be able to do it. HomeKit is a must for me.
Also was excited about this until the HomeKit note. Potentially due to 4k? Homebridge I suppose could bridge the gap but feels odd.
Yeah I would have done the same. I think this has to do with HomeKit not supporting anything over 1080p. That is dumb on apples side smh.
Arlo Ultras, which are 4k, work in HomeKit. When streaming, they do get resized to 1080P. So it’s not a limitation from Apple, it’s Eufy not coding for the stream change.
I'm loving and appreciate the disclosure messages on your product reviews!
Ffs. Knowing how they lie about adding features retroactively, I will definitely wait until HomeKit is added before replacing my four Eufy 1 cameras.
yeah no HSV support is a dealbreaker for me, but wow that's surprising to hear about their missed commitments on retroactive feature support
I bought two Eufy 2k wireless cameras, and one barely holds a charge for more than 3 days. I bought the eufy solar panel but that only gives the camera an extra day or two of life. Its great when it works but talk about a MUCH shorter than expected battery life.
To be honest I find the HomeKit horrendous for the eufy 2C I removed that and just depend on Eufys app, much faster and more responsive that HomeKit
Do they keep your data?
It looks like a nice camera but anything that I can't tie in with Home Assistant(rtsp would be great) at all is out for me. I recognize power is an issue but at least being able to make an api call when something's triggered would be an improvement.
How can I display the video segments on my computer? What good is 4K if it only displays on my phone?
I’m kinda bummed that I recently purchased the Home Base 2 after seeing this. Oh well it’s still a great platform. The thing about being able to potentially record video for 60 years using the larger HD will only apply if your have just one camera. If you’re a business and have a dozen or so or even just a homeowner with multiples you won’t be getting this long of recording capabilities.
Holding the button down to erase all footage makes the product completely useless...
Or awesome depends on your goals.

@@uzikunUpdated the firmware so that resetting the camera no longer erases the footage from the Homebase.
@@Yossarian-uj9dh nice, then Ill consider them again. need something that just works with no major catch

I had the eufy 2k pro kit with homebase and the wifi range on the base was appalling the first camera connected and worked great but the second camera situated 30mtrs away across our garden wouldn’t get a signal , yet my home broadband router beams out there no probs at all, i ended up sending the system back , shame really cos i liked the cameras a lot, nice video by the way
Sounds like you don't know what you're doing when installing cams lol. Call an alarm company and they'll get you set.
It looks like they use 2.4 support.eufylife.com/s/article/Differences-Between-All-eufyCams
How well would a camera like this hold up in a colder climate? Can it withstand a canadian winter?
How is the range from base station to cam? Example 4 sides to 3000 sq ft house. Base station in middle with 4 cams on all sides. Does it work? I read 30 ft max. Is that accurate?
If the range is no good, can I buy a second base and ethernet cable it to the router or a mesh node with a LAN port?
I like being able to add existing cams to the new home base, but I’m assuming then the 2 and 2c would lose HomeKit ability as I believe HomeKit is based off of base and not camera. ☹️
honestly with this review really wants me to get some of these cameras now, almost exactly what i was looking for.
Do activity zones work properly on these cams as it didn’t on the 2?
What’s the range that the cameras can be from the Homebase?
What’s the total number of devices/ cameras you can add to one base?
That reset problem is definitely an issue. I guess it could be worked around slightly by glueing a washer over the reset button so it can't be pressed by hand, leaving just enough space for a pin to press it. It's not foolproof but maybe it would buy enough time to capture the persons face before they realised they can't reset it on the scene.
does reset button take video off of home base so it is no longer recorded?
Fixed issue
Great video! I'm considering buying these cameras for my home, but I realize they aren't that new since you bought them two years ago.
Would you still recommend them?
The camera you placed on the north side, which gets little direct sunlight, has it ever had charging issues?
Does that bug with resetting the video using the camera's button still exist?
thanks in advance
@2:30 what 2.5” hard drive has 16tb?
And ? How did it go
Please share how it works for you? Thank you
@@dinas9528 Works great. The solar cameras always stay fully charged. Never have to take them down and recharge them
Do these have sound activation like say a dog barking?
Thank you.
I've been waiting for a long time for a 4K from Eufi. Definitely getting some to add to my current eufi network.
I had the same problem with eufy 2. i think eufy 3 will have this problem too.
Does the Activity Zone actually work now? As in you doing fry alerts from outside the zone you select.
Thanks for the review.
it's weird where I live north facing is the sun
Supporting devices which were previously standalone like the floodlight cam is pretty cool, unfortunately, no homekit support = no deal for me.
£500 for 2 cameras and a base station that cannot do 24/7 loop recording? Why it exists? No storage as well?
Lack of Homekit support is a real bummer, come on Eufy
How well does the cameras pick up your home wifi? Will it work 30 feet from homebase going through 2 walls?

No HomeKit support is the only reason why I’m not buying this. Please fix that
I'm definitely interested in the new home base features and plus I'm able to integrate my old system with the new is a plus
Has Eufy fixed the issue of holding down the sync button erasing the video on local storage?
Put the camera in a spot they won't reach.
It would be nice if there is an option to install an external solar module since not all locations get enough sun.
Are the camera batteries replaceable? I have other solar-powered battery cams from Lorex and eventually they need new batteries.
Does the new Homebase 3 provide additional functionality, to allow you to turn off multiple/all cameras at once?
I'm guessing the notification from face detection is because it's more for looking through things after. Doing it real time on 4k footage would take crazy processing power. It's probably about video processing time and a trade off between late notifications vs quick ones with less info.
Great writeup. Time to get rid of my useless camera I have had for several years now. Two of the 3 brands still work well but one is a regrettable decision moment one I will definitely check these out. Thank you.
