I don’t know about the tiktok version of that game, but when I’ve played it we did it Dibs’ way! That’s how you narrow to the same word.

FYI, bakers sugar is a thing in America. It is a finer grind than basic granulated sugar.

Yup. Granulated, caster then icing. Every time I hear an American talk about ingredients and weights etc I have Google handy. For instance, stick of butter. Our butter comes in 250 gram blocks so here in Portsmouth (England) I get very 🤨🧐🧐
@@charlottecrook3903 I only know this because I lived in Australia. lol We have exactly the same problem in the US. I am constantly looking up measurement equivalents or in search of some British item, like treacle, or golden syrup, and don’t even get me started on sultanas. 😂
My mum soaks any berries in prosseco or champagne, runs it through the blender later all together, you could probably strain it. Then we serve that with champagne or prosecco as like a cocktail vibe.

Yes! Someone else who can't stand putting anything in the fridge without a cover. I see my dad just putting stuff in the fridge uncovered and immediately come in after to smack some kind of cover on it, no lid? Plastic wrap or tinfoil that container dang, and you better twist the lid on pitchers to ensure that the spout isn't open.
There are people who don't twist the lid back on?!??? 🤯😱 Monsters! I say this, having resigned myself to sealing the cheese ziplocs closed every freaking day because someone leaves them consistently either full of air or *completely open* 😒😅
If you never put half an onion in there it's not as big of a deal how tightly covered things are. LOL

I was thinking that you should get an oven thermometer so that you know what temperature your oven is actually working at.
And you then can calibrate your oven temperature on the panel to match the internal temp.
This is a great idea! We have two, one on each side of the oven, because funny enough both sides are different! So when I am cooking for a holiday I can put two items at different temps and it still comes out great, LOL. I cant wait until I get a new oven tho.

Coloring with Gel, mix in batter/frosting then remove small amount and microwave. Check every 10 sec. Color should deepen. Add back into batter/frosting. Just a suggestion.

I make drunken strawberries all the time. Soaked in vodka , frozen, mix in 7up, club soda, or ginger ale. The best!

I think you could do a chocolate cookie with that filling and it would be like a covered strawberry. The other thought that I had was if you sprinkled either powdered sugar or pink sugar crystals on the pastry hearts, right out of the oven, it might enhance the flavor a little. Liked all the ideas!
If you put strawberries (or grapes, watermelon, etc.) Into an ice chest with dry ice overnight you can make bubbly strawberries.

With the twists the reason for the thin layer is because jam burns pretty quickly and tends to ooze more than it stays in. The darker colour was caused by the egg wash, I have seen some where they use milk.
I use a empty (cleaned) wine bottle as a rolling pin.

Have you not been warned away from eating the fruit out of spodie (sp-oh-dee)? It’s the fastest way to get drunk or so I’m told. Fruit absorbs alcohol really well. Also, for more fizz I think you can put the fruit in a well sealed (like with multiple layers of plastic wrap) container with dried ice which will force carbonation.
My wedding anniversary is the day after Valentine’s Day so it’s honestly a special holiday for me. 🥰
Dibs was on the right track, the easiest way to end up with the same word in my opinion is to find a similarity between the two!
If you make those twists again you can always stick them in the fridge/freezer before cutting to solidify the jam a bit. That might help make them less oozey so you xan add the maximum amount of jam.

Happy Valentine's Day ❤ I noticed you forgot to roll the strawberries in sugar.
I would have rolled the puff pastry with sugar on the board instead of flour, it would have given them sparkles as well as sweetness.
And those cookies.. omg candy flavoring concentrate? Scary. I would have put the food coloring for them in the sugar you rolled them in, a lot less food coloring used and a lot more texture. (Put a couple tables spoons of sugar in a cereal bowl and one drop of food coloring, then mash it with the back of the spoon. Any color sugar sprinkle you want!)
I think I was most intrigued by the pink cookies...I'm not a booze person, so either the twisty sweets with jam or the cheesecake cookies would be my choice! xox

So...those soaked strawberries. We do that with moonshine down south. Soak the berries, drink the drink.

I soak Strawberries in Whipped Cream vodka overnight, pat dry and then dip in chocolate.
