"So this video is a little different... I was approached with an opportunity to be part of a new marketing campaign launched by the Royal Navy. Basically I had to go and do a few days training to get an idea of what it's like to be in the Navy, and also to see how easy and accessible it is to join and be part of. I thought it'd be an experience so I took the offer up. They filmed the whole thing and then sent me the video to upload on my channel. Scope it out to see how I got on. Yeah man you did well not gonna lie i had to do the same thing because I'm in the Merchant Navy and it is scary but once you know what your doing its all good fun. I'm guessing your doing your STCW or did you just do it for fun?

As a firefighter, I can tell you your crew failed to buddy buddy check correctly, that gap between your snood and your ba mask is enough to cause discomfort and add to the heat stress. It looked like petrol or a light gas to cause the fire, so the atmospheric temperature would of been around 300-400, wood or other solid combustible materials that I'm sure the RN damage control train with can get up to 1000 in the correct conditions. RN don't have firefighters, everybody is trained in damage control. No better feeling than taking off ba gear after a hard wear.

Tru Genuine before going into a fire you need to perform a buddy-buddy check with another person thats going in with you, you need to check that all your shit is working correctly and that you have a good seal on your BA mask, and that your fire hood is on properly, and that your hardhat is on tight so it doesnt fall off. figure it out it aint that hard
