    Debating joining royal navy aircraft technician or RAF aircraft technician, any ideas on what's better

      Have a look at what Aircraft each of the 2 forces use on a regular basis & think about which would excite you more to work with.
      Also do note the RN Aircraft technician covers all aspects of the trade, where as i believe the RAF their aircraft technicians breaks Mechanical techs & Avionics techs (working on different types of aircraft matainace/repairs)
      In my personal opinion i would say alot of it comes down to wether you'd like to be garaunteed to keep your feet on solid ground or wether you'd like the idea of being on a ship at sea.

      @@Willdostyles yeah I can’t get into the raf because I haven’t been in the country long enough so RN it is. But like the video said he was on land most of the time anyway, no doubt I will want to see what it’s like at sea though

      @@jaydonaldson4209 you may have the same issue with the RN then. If you are a UK national but have just been living abroad you can be granted a residency waiver (but it's not garaunteed)
