My 2009 Honda Accord Stalled 5 years ago After I Drove Through High Waters But After A Few Tries It Started Again But With The Engine Light 5 Years Ago And Was Told The Catalytic Converter Is Bad, That’s The Code That Comes Up. As I’m Driving Sometimes Exhaust Smells Permeate The Interior Which Smell Like Rotten Eggs. Also Somehow I’ve Managed To Pass DMV Inspection 4 Years Straight With A Check Engine Light & Bad Catalytic Converter. What’s crazy is that this year I failed the DMV EMISSION TEST 4x and then I went to a shop and asked them to clear the codes and prayed and when they checked again at the DMV it passed 😂. This year they were strict but prior years they weren’t even checking! The dealership says I have Low Compression On The Number 4 Cylinder & P0420 & P0304. They say the engine was at 60psi. They performed the diagnostic in July. I heard Cataclean cleans the catalytic converter. I saw it on Amazon. What do you think? Is That Bad Catalytic Converter Endangering My Life?
This is one thing I like about my Chevy Trailblazer with 4.2L I6 engine. The cat is nestled between the engine and fender. Good luck cutting it out from down below!
In Hawaii, they steal exhaust pipe cutters from Autozone, O'Reillys or Carquest (they have it out on the floor so they take it and and out). Recip saws make too much noise.
Unless the CC's are OEM, your vehicle will start throwing codes in less than two years. No aftermarket CC's even come close to OEM's when it comes to longevity and performance.
I may have missed it, but after all of the $$ this poor customer spent having you replace their cats and O2 sensors, it would've been great to see you install a deterrent system so they won't have to be a repeat customer.
Looking for n affordable catalytic converter security system for a 2022 Toyota rav4 hybrid xle. So far no luck . May make my own with rybar welded together
Yes, but she fails to mention how expensive all those parts are you still a victim even if you’re buying brand new converters and O2 sensors, can’t get a break from the bad guys or corporation 😅😅
Those Milwaukee Sawzall blades with the honeycomb texture on them literally melt metal and they last forever. I cut a gun safe door up, thick steel, with one of those blades (and alot of water)

As someone else said the manifold flange bolts are a bear. I cut a slot in the flange to get stubborn bolts out
