- Welcome back guys, in this videos we are taking my secondary cat and deleting it. Showing you me cutting it, then listening to it how it sounds with just the headers then welding a 1.5 ft exhaust pipe for better airflow and performance. I hope you guys enjoy.

When using the cutting wheel, you and those nearby need to wear a full face shield. When welding, use a welding mask. When painting, use a respirator intended for painting. Be safe because injuries suck!

I can’t stand people when they take the cutting guards off of grinders because they can’t get close enough to it. Use a different Saul or put a new blade on it. They want to run it all the way down to nothing there is a reason why it only cut to a certain point it is call safety.

you should have removed the cat with a wrench at the flanges then straightpiped flange to flange so that you can reinstall the unused cat for smog and it doesnt show any signs of modification

They’re blind for life it’s not a joke it’ll burn your eyes. and it burns like sand in your eyes all the time they think it’s only for a couple seconds now they’re blind for life. What are you doing? Even using a cutting torch acetylene you should wear glasses because of the flames. It affects your eyes. It’s not as harsh, but it still affects it.

zip cut blades can blow apart, you should be using a guard and keeping your face out of the blades trajectory path... I never use a guard, only with zipcut blades, man that was stupid.

After seeing this video I learned how to fix the car THE WRONG WAY!
1st u need to use gloves not the ones you stole from dentist
2nd cut the cat off between the mounting flanges ( pre bend pipe if needed before starting the project
3rd is practice welding on the ground 1st
4th wear a welding helmet, even if u just spot the 2 metals without a shield u will feel your eyes burning later
Just think safety 1st
And you need to do a before and after sound of exhaust so that people can hear if the modification will make a diffrence on there car
probably the emergency room and not the dentist

OMG, started welding with no hood, nothing protecting your arms and then I look and you have latex gloves on 😆. I hope that little bit of welding you did before you got a welding helmet on didnt burn eyes. A helmet is always a must for welding. You can skip all the other stuff but always have to protect your eyes. If not you will burn them and feel like someone threw sand in them. Good upload though

This isn't a severe violation or an environmental hazard. Why would the EPA shut us down? It was done to a personal vehicle( my vehicle) at my workplace with permission on a closed day with no customer or anyone in danger.

How does this affect the vehicle performance now that there is very little back pressure? I've heard mechanics say cats are necessary because they provide back pressure for the correct HP.

The vehicle will actually need to be tuned now for adequate performance as more air flows you need more fuel to mix otherwise it sounds like sh!t like this car and you will actually lose performance. All in all it works amazingly when done properly and with the help of someone that can adjust fuel injection rates. Otherwise you are wasting your time. Also if you move sensors around a bit you will still pass any inspection and wont throw codes. This was kinda a backyard DIY vid it seems.

Lil buddy that's supposed to be teaching him keeps setting him up for failure, like letting him weld with no eye protection, not showing him where to cut the cat off, not pointing out the cat is bolted on one side and making it more difficult to install or remove because the bolted coupler midway was replaced with a solid weld done by a solid welder and now the pipe has to be welded on, and cut off to be removed instead of removing 3 bolts. I'm sure there's more this guy didn't show him how to do the work properly but let me know if you agree?

Not really he filmed himself committing a felony and yes cutting off your cat is against the law, federal law that is. He better hope it was not done in a business because it follows with 100's of thousands of dollars of fines on top.
Its not illegal to cut off anything in your car, its illegal to drive an unsafe vehicle on public roads. Some people use their "ilegal" cars on private roads or tracks only, which is legal. Take a racecar for example. We in the buisness call these trailer princesses. Because they only leave the trailer for storage, maintanance/modification, or racing.

electric motors have a tremendous amount of torque I would never hold that grinder with one hand two at that angle was dangerous enough
Dam this video made me cringe, first of all break every power tool you have, sencond never touch a welder again, third please find a different career like professional gaming or something 😂😅
Grinders are great when you're well positioned and you can use all your balance and strength so you are in total control of the situation. But using this tool the wrong way, for example lying on your back under a car, holding it at arms length, rotation on the ''wrong side''... is giving all control to the vicious grinder and he will quickly slice your face before you know it..
This is a recipe for a painful experience. And why them gloves? They are normally used by doctors to finger-check prostate glands! Also, the worst thing to cut with grinders is steel pipes with some kind of ''tension or twisting force'' on them that will eventually squeeze the disc...causing it to shatter with debris flying everywhere! Of course, some will hit you in the face or any other sensitive area. Why not use the right tool for this job?
Safest and easier way to cut exhaust pipes : ''Reciprocating saw with a good carbide blade''

The _"I literally have no idea what im doing"_ was surprisingly reassuring since after seeing a fellow practitioner of the bruteforce method it sparked great confidence in me after realizing i wanted a catdelete this morning.
The go with the flow figure it out along the way is severely underappreciated and has always served me well. most of the time. Sorta. 80% of the time it worked every time so the odds are in my favor

It is one of the solutions if the 2nd catalytic converter is stolen. It will not harm the car, just the environment a bit. Covering it up with a good heat shield may be useful to fool MOT people.

This guys fuckinf a sped. There is a clamp on the end of the cat and he chose to cut it off after that 😹😹
1. Its not a clamp, its the end where they bolt on together. 2. It was completely rusted shut together, I put dw40 on that thing for 3 days straight and nothing. I had no other choice. This entire video is just me messing. I know damn well I'm making mistakes. Just having fun here
