O sucessor dele o fw15c foi classificado como perigosamente rápido em curvas.

Personally, for me, the best-looking and greatest F1 car ever built, with the one and only Nigel Mansell in the driving seat. Awesome!

It's remarkable that Nigel Mansell only became F1 world champion once because in the right car with the right setup Mansell would beat pretty much anyone including Senna and Prost

@kinkon6770 Nigel Mansell challenged Alain Prost publicly to a one to one race for one million pounds on a circuit of his choosing. He never took him up on it.
Ayrton Senna also accused Alain Prost of cowardice in a post race interview.
A wet Donnington Park in 1993 with Prost in the best car and on pole position.
Senna was down the grid and led the race on the second lap!
Prost was never in that league.
He was a good tactician, never a balls out racer.

      @@martinhambleton5076 yes thats right
Because he didnt like to race rainy days. Lauda also refuse To race at nurburging, he stop ⛔ the car
At ferrari when prost work with ferrari team, mansell was playing golf ⛳
Mansell was a Tiger but he went out to. Many times, like suzuka 1991, his fault.. As. Many other races..
Senna was FASTEST and king of Rain, pole position, but tnone of those extra plus gives you additional points
Alain Prost was a real Cool stratego man, because in the 80s, cars fail a lot (engine, tyres, fuel, etc),
Of course his Strategy Will not be good after 2000s
Sennas driving style is not suitable for todays f1 cars
Prost didnt like wet conditions, but he made good races
And every time he wanted, he Speed up, and got pole position and go first, but that was not his style
He didnt need to drive as Senna, tonwin championship, amazing
Prost didnt run in 1992, and inn1991 worst ferrari car ever (the truck)
He should never sponsor senna to. Mclaren, dirty ron Dennis, prefer senna than prost,
Thats life, when you are a gentleman, nobody recogn
As piquet said, senna won f3, same way as Schumacher, crashing other drivers
Senna was not an ángel on the track
      He pushed out nelson piquet
He was absoulety out of control at suzuka 89, there is a slow motion video, which show how wrong senna entered inside to take that chicanne,
Prost was fighting his title, he said before he Will close Door to senna
Then he request help for Marshall to push his car, that was forbidenn, at f1 rules
Then he made dame mistake overtakkng Naninni, almost crashing same place
And I can continúe talking many strange situations

2:36 when mansell turns in the car bottoms out. Darn this goes dead straight. This car had active suspension, not like the one senna ended up driving. Its a little scary seeing this machine move. The car recalibrates in the corner unnaturally from the way a normal spring would. It dips and rises and dives and turns. Its uncanny. Totally incredible. Mansell said you had to throw it into a corner at full speed and trust the computer. This chassis just doesnt work without the active suspension. I just realized there is more clues to sennas accident in the characteristics of this car.

I know the FW14B not the most dominant F1 car of all time, but compared the the RB19 and MP4/4, this just seems much further ahead of the competition than the other two were.
The MP4/4 was one of only a handful of cars to run the turbocharged engine regulations. Although it was far ahead of Ferrari and the complete dumpster fire that was the Lotus 100T, McLaren's traditional rivals such as Benneton and Williams were running completely different regulations that were far less superior (despite the FIA's attempts to handicap turbo cars), and Ferrari were much more focused on developing their new semi-automatic gearbox for 1989.
Although the RB19 had the cool anti-dive and suspension trickery, apart from that there wasn't anything else that made it stand out from the competition and innovated and changed F1 forever (ok we haven't had enough time to assess whether the RB19 has made a significant impact on car design, but maybe in the future teams will look back to this car and make designs inspired from it). Another thing to note is that since the gaps in that season were very tight, the reason why the RB19 got so many poles and wins was because of Verstappen. Sergio Perez only finished second four times, as well as two wins in 22 races in 2023, whilst Patrese in 1992 managed six second places and a single win with twice as many retirements as Perez and only 16 rounds. And judging by their career stats they seem to be on a similar level in terms of driver skill.
The FW14B stands out from these two other cars because it was just so far ahead of the competition whilst still using the same regulation set as the competition. To my knowledge, no other team had a drag reduction system like Williams, anti-lock brakes (at least in 1992, McLaren had them in 1993) and such advanced electronic systems. Combine this with the aerodynamic wizardry of Adrian Newey, and this car was simply unstoppable no matter who was driving it.
