Hi Amanda. I love your videos and based on your reviews I decided to purchase a hair topper from. Chiquel wigs in Canada. I am so upset with this company right now. Firstly, they sent me the incorrect topper (I ordered Jon Renau's Easipart T 18 inch in shaded praline, they sent Easipart medium - a cheaper topper with not as much coverage). I found that colour was too light, so when I sent the return I asked for shaded mocha. I sent several emails on the day I mailed the return with this colour change request.. I am so upset because they just processed the order like the original with no communication from customer service to the warehouse about the colour change. The warehouse actually sent me an email saying that I couldn't change my colour after they started their process, but my request was way before that! This is so upsetting for me to have to deal with. Your own wonderful videos and your representation of Chiquel are why I chose this company, but they have failed me twice now. This topper is really expensive and I would think the customer service should be excellent so that customers would want to continue to buy from this company in the future.
I as well love your videos. Unfortunately, I am 73 and new to noticeable hair loss, particularly in the back and then down my head and at top. I am not at the stage of taking the jump to a head buzz. I've been trying to eat much better in an effort to stop the hair from falling out my hair is way past my shoulders and I have full bangs. I think toppers with real hair is the route I should go for now. And, I would love seeing a few more videos on toppers and suggestions. I must say, watching your videos, if I had had a one-too many wines, I would have grabbed my husband's shaver. I have seen a few videos from others, even trying to help worried me. But your videos make me think why keep my hair, when there are so many positive videos from you. I watched many last night until the sun rose😅. Thank you for all your wonderful work. I am going to show your videos and how fun it is not to be stuck with thin hair I was born with all my life which cannot even keep a curl due to medications I have to take just to get out of bed. Thank you, thank you for all that you share. Wigs and such have come a long way from wigs my Mother had to wear when she received news that she had breast cancer at the age of 39 and then died 9 years later in 1980.
Great video showing the reality of toppers. It was great to know how thick they are on top (what I was looking for) and how much coverage. Thanks so much for all you do!!!
I'm a naural light ash blonde and only wear toppers, as wigs are too hot and itchy here in FL. I've been frustrated trying to find colors that blend with my hair. Unrooted cool light ash blonde colors are very hard to find, in a larger base size. I've started making my own toppers out of wigs (UA-cam has videos on how to do this), which gives me more color options and allows me to make a larger base size. It's easier than you would think! Unrooted cool light ash blonde colors are still hard to find, though, darn it!
Surely will be buying a topper in about two years. I have thinning hair on top and for now I can manage with root lifting products and in the next year maybe some toppik fibers. The technology is so more advanced then before regarding toppers and wigs, that I'm surely looking forward to wearing one of those one day 😊
Why wait? I wish I had gotten a topper sooner before I messed around with all of those fillers, etc.! Have beautiful hair now! It’s so much easier and you are out the door in seconds.
@@chiquelwigs Bought a JonRenaud wig about two or three years ago (5142 Ignite salt and pepper), and is a bit too big. Have not wash or style it yet though. Although, I'm thinning on the top, I'm not ready to wear a full wing at work. Maybe when I retire! Shopping or a movie! Who knows 🤗
I just bought JR top coverage. I'm really whispy at the hairline and , unfortunately, have a bit of a widow's peak left. I'm having trouble with integrating it into the lacefront. I'm kind of afraid to shave my hairline but I don't know what else to do.
Can you tell me is the 14 inches from the crown or from the edge of the topper? Thanks in advance! The BT topper looks amazing on you in that style and color! A wig version perfect for you! Nice...
Hi Amanda! Thanks for showing the 12" Top Billing. Great to see what the actual length looks like, since the online pictures make it look SO long. One of the websites I came across said that the color Shaded Cappuccino is frequently returned. To me, it looks very nice online. Do you have any experience with the Shaded Cappuccino?
@@chiquelwigs Thanks for your quick response. Was just reading Top Billing reviews, and many people complained about the quality decreasing over the last couple of years, oy! I have a RW topper and wanted to stay with that brand, but now I'm not so sure. SO much information to weed through 😳

A wig is full coverage. A topper is clipped in to your own hair on top of your head. The idea is to blend your own hair with the topper. You need some hair still for toppers. I cannot wear toppers as I have no hair on my head.
I actually meant clipless. Clippers was a typo. Looking for less clips or different ways that would be tension on bio hair. So not clipping in the same spot which causes damage, breakage and or more loss. Just wondering if I’m missing something. Thank you for your tips and help.
@@C5gogo honestly honestly, I have been wearing toppers for about seven years now. I have not lost any more hair due to the clips. You have to get pressure sensitive clips.
I don't think you get it. She is demonstrating TOPPERS; they are meant to be worn on Top of your hair to add extra volume. This clip was intended for women who are experiencing thinning of their natural hair, and would need extra volume.

glue it .

I wear toppers exclusively. I Love RW Top Billing 18". Also, Jon Renau toppers. Fortunately, I have enough bio hair to clip on.
That's great! :)
Wondering if anyone has any advice as I am new to all of this. Would I still need to use a wig glue/spray for the lace front portion?
Nope! These are glueless wigs!
How do you purchase them??

What is the differences in topper and wig

Do you suggest or know of good lace front clippers lower density options? TIA
Just use scissors to trim a lace front…not clippers!
