I seen the same tour in Peoria Illinois and it was awesome! This band ended way to soon, I feel like they had so much more to give us. Definitely brings back memories of the 3 times I was able to see them live. 🤘🏻
It's AMAZING how the hell Drain NEVER got the damn credit they deserved!!Been a fan from day one and have NEVER quit listening to them!!Saw them live at House of Blues at Mrytle Beach and they kicked ass live!!Flavia is an awesome guitar player and Marie was spot on with her vocals!!DON'T make good metal like this anynore!!Was so cool to see 4 talented Females kickass and ROCK!!!🤘🤘Long live Drain!!
I agree with everything you said, my sister & I were lucky enough to see this band 3 times. They were awesome live. I miss music from those days, and I'm only age 50, but very young at heart. Drain STH deserves much praise, they always kicked ass live. I miss these bands.
This is the first time I’m hearing them and I’m in love already… I seen a picture on another social media outlet and read the comments then now I’m here. Hopefully there’s plenty more!
they were active in the late 90's and released two albums ; I recommend to you the second one. The first (which features that song) is quite good but the second is a very underrated good one ; if you love AiC, you'll love it
i never really thought the second album was as good. they had to take the contract and "lighten" their music. it's not as heavy as the first. got some good songs, but it just felt acted almost
Listen to the guitar riff throughout this song. It's very important! Those three hauntingly beautiful chords represent the sound of a generation of rock music - the 90's!
I remember this band. They opened for type o negative back in "97 at the edge night club in Palo alto California. Wish they kept making records they were really good.
I saw this band perform on the second stage of the ozzfest tour. It must have been 1997. It was the first year of the tour. These girls rocked hard! I think they did two sets over the course of the day, and I made sure I went back for the second one. It was a hot summer day, the girls were dressed in black leather, and they just totally rocked. Much better looking in person too :)
@@MainelyMusic See, I don't think that's accurate. The vocal style is definitely inspired by AiC, but Drain are WAY heavier, and I always saw them more like Pantera mixed with sludge metal, grunge, and a bit of goth here and there. Crack The Liat's Smile is one of their lighter and more grungy songs, but the others on this album are absolutely crushing, and they definitely have their own style.
So glad I got to see this band twice when they played with Sabbath during the Reunion tour in '99. And headlining another venue in Pontiac the same year. A great band.
All these comments from years gone... I felt I should say somthing about this awesome band that doesnt exist anymore.... Im not one for words so... here it is: Woooooo!
This band kicks ass! Just thought I would let everybody know. I imagine everybody was losing sleep waiting for my approval of this band. The public can rest easy now. I really dig this band.
Just heading this makes me wish they were still around. I got into this band several months ago, and their first album is one of the greatest I've ever heard.
Her voice was a trip. It's so unique! I love that females in metal are all over the place now but they have the same vocal style..this girl was like no1 else before or after her.
this is one of the tightest, kick ass bands ever, hard rock with sweet harmony great musical and lyrical writting ability and hot as hell drain sth rulez
I got into Drain Sth after watching ECW Wrestling. Simon Diamond would use Simon Says as his entrance music. From then I had to find out more and boy I'm glad I did.
I just listened to FF - Demanufacture, and this lot supported them. Get the old records on and I forgot how much I liked Drain. Plus... MEGA crush I had at the time. :D
Thanks to BMG Music 😂 Who remembers getting mail order cassette tapes? Had to peel off the stamps and stick em to the page for the tapes you wanted and then mail it back with a check or money order. Buy a few and get a bunch free. A couple weeks later a stack of new music arrives in the form of cassettes . The land before internet. That’s how I discovered so many great bands of this era, still listening!!
One of the greatest unrated, never heard of bands EVER. It is a goddamn shame we can't have more Russian Roulette type musicians like this in this day and age.
Still circle back around to this from time to time. This track has some beautiful arrangements. For anyone out there bemoaning the fact that they're no longer together and looking for something ... familiar ... Check out Crucified Barbara.
Miss these girls!!!!
I have an interview they did from Much music on VHS a long with some videos
Yup miss Loud and Much music they played A great variety of songs
I saw them in Virginia Beach back in like '97. Amazing concert!
They married rich rock stars. RESPECT
They need to make a come back!!!!
We were overflowing with great bands in the 90s.
I seen them live back in 1997 opening for Type O Negative. Maria was right in front of me. Hooked on their music ever since
Same here. I was at Philadelphia for them.
I seen the same tour in Peoria Illinois and it was awesome! This band ended way to soon, I feel like they had so much more to give us. Definitely brings back memories of the 3 times I was able to see them live. 🤘🏻
Are any of the members involved in anything worth listening to after Drain broke up?
@@dannie2712 not to my knowledge
Same. Maybe same tour. Saw them here in Tempe Az at the electric ballroom.

They were a joke
@@qriminal1648 Where's your metal record as great as horror wrestling??
@@davedropd1 I could set up a microphone in my toilet and come up with a better album from the sounds gathered there.

Was going through my CDs and found this band, wondered if their videos were on youtube and was pleased to find this one. Awesome band
Same! I was showing my daughter my CD collection and found this album. Had forgotten all about them. They had a lot of good songs.
My God, nothing like four gorgeous women playing heavy music.
Yeahh but ...... 6 women with 2 guitars and 2 basses rock better a nd harder !
One seriously underrated band.
This band completely blew me away when I first heard them. And I still listen to him to this day. 🤟
This is the first time I’m hearing them and I’m in love already… I seen a picture on another social media outlet and read the comments then now I’m here. Hopefully there’s plenty more!
This needs to be uploaded in HD.
I agree with you on that.
I agree i cant believe that's how we used to watch tv b4 HD.

Been listening for 20 years😍😍😍
I had about two years when I listened to nothing but Drain. This is some seriously good shit. :)

I never get tired of listening to this band....

Wish I could've seen that show

Finally an all-chick band that's heavy, dark, & melodic. I hear a strongly influenced Alice In Chains sound. Fkn AWESOME!!!!
such a shame they broke up...they had a crappy contract and had to disband when their lead singer married Tony Iommi :(
I was going to say the same thing about AIC.
You should check out L7 and Babes in Toyland.
I to this day still explain to anyone as the female version of AIC lol

I mitt tycke det bästa hårdrocksband enbart bestående av tjejer som funnits. Dom rockade hårt!
i AM SO GLAD PEOPLE ARE LISTENING... DRAIN IS HOT.
Why did it take 7 years for me to discover this? DAMN YOU MTV!!!!
So glad I got to see this band twice when they played with Sabbath during the Reunion tour in '99. And headlining another venue in Pontiac the same year. A great band.
Awesome song and vid thanks for sharing
So good !!!! (from France) Beaucoup de souvenirs ...
Saw them live and met them backstage in 2000 in Worcester, MA. Awesome band, rocked the house down, and cool to a gawking fan, too.
I love that several years later, Godsmack totally ripped this opening riff and never got called out on it. I'm not a fan of Godsmack.
these ladies are bad ass....remember seeing them at ozzfest 97'.....brings back memories...good times.
I saw them at OZZFEST 97 @ OLD MILE HIGH STADIUM in Denver. Bad ass women.

Cool ass dudes. I actually like that riff. simple but catchy. thats what rock and rolls all about.
Glad I was able to see their Chicago show. Double glad that I made it to the front row.
I saw this band play with Fear Factory and Manhole back in the day. One of my favourite gigs ever.
Her voice was a trip. It's so unique! I love that females in metal are all over the place now but they have the same vocal style..this girl was like no1 else before or after her.
