It was at a club called Lupos. I like C.O.C. and Clutch too, Clutch is from Maryland where I live now. Type-O was amazing as always, but seeing Drain live and never hearing of them or anything by them at the time left me speechless. I remember turning to my friend who had his jaw dropped after the opening song (I Don't Mind) and saying Wow!
these quite easy on the eyes and when they sound like this and since i bought both of these albums these swedish gals drain sth were pioneers and that bass wow that is front and center you can hear it and the drums are so crisp and heavy such a groovy and psychedelic holy fire from beautiful sweden
Just on some of their songs. Also alt metal, Type O Negative, "classic female bands", Pantera, doom, alt rock, nu metal, classic heavy, and even industrial influences.
My favorite Drain S.T.H. track. Bar none. Weighty track. I had the fortune to catch them live in Boston back in the day. They. Owned. Nice compilation of imagery. My kids love Hamtaro by the way.
how do you know I have no idea? Anyway, I said I liked the band, but you can't deny that they are very similar. Maybe AIC was an inspiration for them. And that's not bad man! They use a similar vocal form, as Layne used some similar to Axl Rose. And what?
Huge fan of Drain STH!!! I don't even remember how I got into them. I just randomly bought their cd Horror Wrestling when it first came out and was instantly hooked. Awesome Alice in Chains vibes.
dude.. u shouldnt talk about them that way. you have no idea what it takes to be this good a band. its not the same sound and vocals form as alice in chains, its grunge, and grunge is alive and well to this very day
They are just like Alice in Chains, Its is the same sound and vocals form. I love Alice in chains, it is my favourite group and I like this group too but they are so similar... I don't like that. They are a copy
No they're not. The vocal style is the only similarity. Drain are much heavier and have far more metal and doom elements in the music which is quite different to AiC who are more rock-orientated. You are judging them by a few surface melodies based on the fact that only AiC and Drain use that style. It's like saying Helloweeen are just an Iron Maiden copy becasue they share a few traits, but they are different bands doing different music. I like Drain's darker heaviness more.
If some ppl dont know yet, Maria, the vocalist is just the wife of Mr. Tony Iommi, just the Godfather of Heavy Metal.
How old she was here and how old Tony was.?? Then
This was by far my favorite song on the record.
SAME
Love this album.
90s hands down was the best music generation ever

i thought they were alice in chains
One of the heavier tracks ,I had the cassette way back 1997 or 98...
Sounds so much like Alice in Chains. Automatic ten million thumbs up.
Drain used to shout out Alice In Chains as influence all the time. No doubt
Just on some of their songs. Also alt metal, Type O Negative, "classic female bands", Pantera, doom, alt rock, nu metal, classic heavy, and even industrial influences.
i love drain, i wish they got more popular
these chicks rock! i kept hearing them on the radio but couldnt figure out who they were and then they finally announced it after one of their songs.
Holy Shit. My band opened for this group around 1997. I can’t believe I came across this.
My favorite Drain S.T.H. track. Bar none. Weighty track.

Fn great heavy female band they also had a little grunge added to them too, this song could stand alongside an Alice In Chains number \m/
I haven't heard this one before. I really like it.
ah i miss these ladies. hellishly soulful rock and so so hot
kick ass, if people sang and played like this, shit would be much better
female alice in chains
Saw them in Raleigh, N.C. with Godsmack and Black Sabbath! Very cool show to say the least.
Someone on Nov 2020?
Sick ass vid for a sick ass song)))))
Still better than the top 40 pop rock or the radio waves
STR8L8CED ps...Anna Kjellberg...yum ;)
One of their most common descriptions!!!!!!

Huge fan of Drain STH!!! I don't even remember how I got into them. I just randomly bought their cd Horror Wrestling when it first came out and was instantly hooked. Awesome Alice in Chains vibes.

correction it also has the the vidclips from "I don't mind"he/she just put together a video with different clips
😂 I miss drain sth
Fuck!!! These girls kick ass!!
Question for guitarists: What tuning is this song in?
To me it sounds like either d standard, c standard, or drop a#.
Never mind, I figured it out, its d standard.
@@ZivaLuthor
It's definitely in dropped C (D Standard with the low D dropped to C).
Layne
hey thats pretty allright!!
Does anyone know what STH means, or the origin of the band name?
Stockholm , like the Swedish City where they are from...
this is true MEANBITCH ROCK
@martyrinsane drain sth opening for neurosis?! holy shit that's a concert i would kill to go.
not bad :-)
yeah, it's not a bad fit
why does this song kick so much ass?
how do i let music move me again instead of having this cringe habit of feeling harrassed?
music was good but i ever thought they were casted
Layne similar to Axl Rose??? O_O
when music was good now we have shit for new metal and rock bands i blame crap ass hip hop
defenitivt alice in chains vibbar. bra ändå såklart, det är er soundmen faller bra in i den sektionen. men denna låten, inte andra.
This shit is better than evanescence...sorry but not sorry 😏
it looks like you got a lil lazy towards the end.
dude.. u shouldnt talk about them that way. you have no idea what it takes to be this good a band. its not the same sound and vocals form as alice in chains, its grunge, and grunge is alive and well to this very day
The vocal syncing doesn't really work dude, you can tell that's not the word's she's singing. The rest is cool though.
Then don't listen to it.
