- A feedback, info gathering video to find out if Subs are actually getting sent notifications, seeing my videos in their feeds etc.

Your channel predominately features what UA-cam considers a “sensitive” topic, weapons. Naturally, and rather unfortunately, they will throttle engagement unless you bring them in big bucks like the ultra large weapons channels. But, I like the laid-back, relaxed, and historic aspect of your videos. I feel your focus may need to turn to attracting new people via thumbnails and eye-grabbing topics. Just sucks how UA-cam functions these days. Though some of us are not getting notifications, we still take them time to manually come here to watch.
I followed during covid and watched daily and after I stopped getting them I am now having to look for you. Thank you for all the content
Up your presentation game bro.. make better thumbnails, have a script for your videos, up your editing. Do things that the algorithm will like and people will like
I'm not on about the algorithm though, I'm on about people actually subscribed already.
But I do agree all that stuff certainly helps get more people watching/interested/coming back etc.

Hi buddy, I rarely if ever get notifications on desktop but I used to up till about maybe half a year or so ago. I more often get notifications on Android, on my phone. I mainly watch on desktop and as I told you before, I just refresh UA-cam at around the times I know that you usually come on, so that I can catch your streams in time, but of course, this isn't always the case, and it does mean that I will usually miss a bit of your stream, or worse, all of it entirely. I think @reflx below has a point and some good suggestions, too. I hope you can make an improvement with it. All the very best, Rajiv P.S. I didn't see a poll in this actual video.
Yeah it doesn't let you add polls to the actual videos anymore so just did it as a community post, another feature removed lol, weirdly I think I may get a similar thing as you where there is a disconnect between my subscriptions appearing on the phone or the PC, as in sometimes they show up on one but not the other.

This is the first video I have received a notification for in almost a year.
Interesting, that's the thing I want to find out, probably a mix of some people not getting any notifications what so ever and then other people occasionally getting one but not being interested in the individual video etc.

This video came up in my video feed 14 hours after you put it up. But I generally now and then just look you up to see what you have uploaded. I'm not into gaming videos, so I give them a miss.
I see all your video updates. I subscribe to a lot of channels, though, so only the channels I've watched over the past couple of weeks show up with updated video notifications. I usually scroll down my list of favourite channels (the drop-down list on the left of UA-cam) to make sure I'm not missing any videos, too.

I don't use notifications from UA-cam, but I do see a bunch of videos listed when I click the bell symbol and I do see your videos in there amongst others. I see your videos in my sub list and it shows anyone streaming live at the top of the list. I don't think I'm missing any of your videos in my sub list. I don't tend to watch the game streams but I watch all the others. Hope that helps.

Occasionally, but very very rarely. Only saw this video because I was watching a few old gas mask videos.
Discord would be a good way to push notifications for fans
On my server there is an auto notification option, I used to always share to twitter etc with every upload but youtube removed that as an automated feature so never know how well it works when I manually share.

Do your old videos receive more views on average? I like a lot of those old ones and they seem to be the more iconic ones, I go on and off for your content but I enjoy it when I'm interested.
Edit: I also tend to get recommended your old videos over your new ones. Those from like 5-6 years ago.
Yes I would like to talk about this this is a problem on youtube since 2018 only some of your videos show up in notifications and for some users some of your videos don't show up at all like no notification or video on your channel they didn't fix this .

Good it still sends them even if you don't get a chance to watch, quite often it seems youtube stops sending subscribers alerts if they've not watched in a while.

I feel bad as a american and whenever you make a live stream I am asleep but I do get notified and I watch all your videos...btw we both ally countries so yeah 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

Haven’t gotten notifications for a long while, normally it’s just dumb luck I see a stream or video pop up
Yeah that seems to be the case with a few people, and a few channels I watch as well, half the time I need to check to see if they are live or have uploaded.

Strange I've had similar things with channels I watch a lot, only find out from a home page or a search etc that they have a new video up.
I get some notifications not all of them tho, usually end up finding it on my feeds somewhere what you do post
Interesting, I know sometimes uploading twice in a day etc means the subs only get notified of one video as well.

Okay thanks, that's the thing that happens to me with some channels I am meant to get notifications for, they never turn up on my sub notification page, but I'll randomly spot them on the homepage later on.

i got notifications for streams but not videos
Bit of feedback. I have never hit the bell on any of my many subscriptions. I do that deliberately, always will. Yours don’t show up often while some others, ‘always’ do. There are others that don’t show up either.
Just to add. There are 3, that you’ll know, that always show up in my notifications that don’t do anything you don’t. WC, Funky and SAK94
Oohhh, just checked. SAK94’s vids don’t always notify me. Just thought he wasn’t posting as much lately.
Just to add. YT log works on keeping viewers on YT. Likes add up to go to marketing. I have no idea what they do with that. But hopefully it helps.

Some people probably haven't selected the option to receive ALL notifications since YT brought in those options, and some might not be aware that YT has basically unsubscribed them.
Yeah sounds about right, I have a weird thing with Weaponcollectors channel where I will sometimes get notified of all his new uploads for a while and then youtube goes dark and I have to manually check if he's uploaded.

most probably algorithms are suppressing your content.
I do get notifications most of the time for your livestreams mate but quite often an hour or so after its finished which is bloody annoying and pointless lol.
Thanks for the info, that's sort of what I expected early on with a lot of streams, could start one, not have many people on for a while and all of a sudden get like 10-20 people join within a minute, so seems the notifications get sent out a bit weirdly as well.
