This gives me hope, I got the same generator except mine is a 2000 watt, I was given it for free for parts when I bought another generator but instead I decided to fix both up and now I’m on the McCulloch. I always got a laugh from them beint called “mite-e-lite portable generator” cause you’re right, these suckers are indeed quite heavy 😂

Well done. I have a 3000w unit and one of the coils is shorting/chewed up by mice but may have to pull it back out to get a better look at things.
