Shadow Systems MR920 Elite Review | Shadow Systems EDC 2021

- Welcome back to Hunt Fish Shoot! This time it's the Shadow Systems MR920, everything a Glock 19 should be right out of the box. Even more so it is made right here in the USA! If you are someone who likes Glocks and you feel the need to upgrade your Glock when you bring it home, this is the gun for you.
Glock perfection is a bit of a misnomer, because there is room for improvement on every Glock. The MR920 Elite in 9mm is all of those improvements. You can a good optics cut slide with deep serrations all the way around. Needing no adapter plates, the slide will accept every popular red dot footprint on the market and we have the Holosun 507C X2 mounted on ours! It's a rock solid set up and affordable in a premium defensive handgun.
When holding the MR920 you will notice the grip and grip angle is improved to the point where it fits the hand very well and its compact. The gun is very light due to the cuts in the slide and it's a pleasure to carry. You get an enhanced beavertail to mitigate recoil when getting the high grip that is attributed with Glocks. The low bore axis is even better and aids in even more recoil control with this pistol.
Two great upgrades you get are the sights which are tritium ameriglo and then the trigger is a great trigger with a good reset. It is nearly a flat shoe and aluminum in construction. The gun ships with two magpul GL9 magazines and will function flawlessly with all Glock magazines for the 19 and up. Enough good things can't be said about this gun. It's truly how a Glock should be with all the upgrades you would want. Ready to go right from the store! This is the custom Glock without the custom price tag!
Thank you for watching and following along again with us! Always stay tuned with Hunt Fish Shoot as we strive to bring you the content you want to see!

Glock fanboys typically hate on shadow systems, because they took what glock did and made it better.
Very true!
Shadow systems made some real good changes to the Glock platform! I own several Glocks and a SS
And I Like them both so, I don’t care about hate. Never ever sell your ego to a pistol 😉
Way better
Yep. I was one of those Glock fans. lol
3k subs? How? This is top notch content. You must be low on youtube algorithms, because I would have said 700 plus easily. This is my third video of yours and I'm truly impressed. Keep up the good work brother.
We appreciate that! UA-cam doesn’t make it easy to grow as a “gun channel”. It took months before they started suggesting our content, but things are growing substantially now. We are hoping that we will be able to break through a few more milestones this year, especially with what we have planned! Thanks for watching and thanks for the support Andrew!
Agree. Top quality.
Thank you! We are always striving to put out our best work!
Your production quality is better than 99% of channels even with 1 mil. + subscribers. Keep at it brother, one of my new favorite gun reviewers
We love to hear feedback like this! So thanks for that! What people don’t see is the behind the scenes work that goes on. We have a very dynamic team and everyone brings something special to the table. From the gun knowledge and experience, to the camera work and production, to the editing, marketing, etc... Growing as a gun related channel is not easy on UA-cam, but we won’t stop until we hit that 1M mark! Glad to have you along for the ride!
@@HuntFishShootChannel can’t wait to see how the channel grows and excited to see the future content. Another awesome + is communication, you’re always in the comments taking feedback and communicating with your viewers. I love the personal feel it has to it.
We enjoy giving everyone feedback whether the comment is negative or positive. Let alone we as a channel are all firearms enthusiasts who also enjoy the great outdoors and talking about the guns we shoot! Thank you again for following along!
Im with you on gun reviewers.
I have never been a huge Glock fan. I have shot them, but never owned one. But the reviews sold me on giving the MR920 a shot. Got mine close to a year ago and I couldn't be happier. It was everything the reviewers said. It replaced my EDC almost instantly. Even though it is (for me, personally) leaning on the larger size for an EDC, the confidence I have shooting it, and the results I get shooting it, made the decision for me.
My only problem is I can't shoot it as much as I have wanted to because of the shortage. This thing wants to RUN. It's about as enjoyable a shooting experience as I have found with a polymer frame striker fired pistol. Especially one I would seriously consider carrying.
It’s definitely a major upgrade over any standard Glock out there! Glad you like it as much as we do. Thank you for watching!
Just bought mine, absolutely worth the money!
Awesome!
Absolutely love mine, flattest shooting glock style pistol I've shot. I thought my glock 45 would be my end all be all.....nope. shadow hands down no questions asked. Best customer service in the market as well!!!
Very sweet shooter indeed!
ENJOYING mine myself. 👍
Heavily debating between the SS and the 45
If you can spend it, buy the Shadow systems
How does this man only have 11.5k subs... Hunt Fish Shoot is now my favorite you go brother.
Wow! Thank you Joshua. We appreciate your support and checking out our channel! We are still under 2 years old as a channel and we will always strive to create the best content we can!
Man this is some top grade content. Amazing channel, I can't believe you don't have more subs. But you just gained yourself 1 more. Keep it up man.
Thanks! We appreciate the kind words and the support!
The first 20 seconds of the video got me even more excited for when I get mine on Tuesday
Glad to hear that! Thanks for watching!
Great video. I've had mine for 2 months now and I absolutely love it.
Great to hear!
I can’t believe you’re not a bigger channel. Phenomenal content
That’s always nice to hear! We are trying and we are growing!
Solid review my man!!! You just gained a subscriber. I just purchased this firearm and bang for buck can’t beat this.
Awesome! Thank you for the sub! It’s a heck of a pistol for the money
I think you are all in on this, I blame each of you for me wanting one of these, it's everyone's fault that I have this pistol desire. Thank you fellows for guiding me toward another fine pistol. Great review also 👍
Thank you Wayne! We are sure you will be very happy with it!
Thanks for doing your review on the CZP10C. I had made up my mind I was buying a Glock gen 5. I thought about the CZP10C and bought 1 from Buds for $381.00. It is a great weapon and I am happy I went this way. Thanks for your great REVIEW!!
That’s a great deal and glad to help!
I have the Foundation MR920 and... I tell ya what, it's taken the place of all of my handguns.. it fits Soo well in hand.. looks amazing and runs smooth.. great review brother
Yes they are! Shoots great! Thank you!
New gun owner here, perusing potential new handguns and this was a super solid review and hopefully my next purchase. Thanks bud good job.
Thank you Zak! Glad we could help out a bit! Thanks for watching
Yep had my mr920 few months now couldn't be happier
Glad to hear it!
Great video, Thanks. Not really a Glock guy, but my MR920 Elite is my go to EDC, Love it.
It’s a sweet pistol and shoots great!
Nice review! Appreciate to see someone with a staccato C2 compare them a bit.
That shadow systems is a great deal. A lot of work already done for not that much more. Than a standard Glock.
For sure! Glad you liked it! Thank you for watching!
I’d like to sincerely thank you for this video. Absolutely incredible.
Hell yeah! Thanks Jeremiah! We appreciate you watching!
I watched a number of your videos in the past two months. And now I’m watching this video because I’m considering picking up this pistol and then I realized I was not subscribed to your channel….. my apologies sir, keep up the good work and stay safe out there. Just subbed!
Awesome thanks for subbing! Glad you have checked out our channel and I appreciate your support!
@@HuntFishShootChannel Hey you’re welcome. I actually bought this online 30 minutes ago because of this review. I was considering getting the 509t but I’ve only seen people running the 508t or 507. I’m gonna do some more research.
The 509 will fit with the adapter plate but the 509 will not co witness the sights.
This video sold me on it. I have the 4.15” staccato p and planned on getting the c2 but I thinks it’s just to similar to my p to justify 2300 bucks. With this I can get an rmr, x300, holster and extra mags. Good video man. Subbed.
Right if you have a P already the C2 is very similar. I have the C2 and it shoots better than a shadow systems but the MR920 is an awesome gun and. Very close second at like a third of the cost.
Same situation. Did the same thing. No regrets.

Thanks brother! Just bought it online. Excellent review. Hello from Japan! Headed back to the states.
Hell yeah! Enjoy it! This is an older video from us if you are feeling froggy, check out that new stuff!
Great review Sir! I have the MR920 Combat and love it. Your comment about the Staccato is spot on. The Staccato is hard to beat, but for the price, I'll take the MR920 any day. Additionally, your observation about the grip angle and it's similarity to the 1911 is on target. My Colt Combat Elite is my standard for accuracy, I shoot it better than any of my pistols, but the MR920 is pretty dang close. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! I appreciate the support and you watching!
Just purchased it today at a Florida gun show thanks for the great review
You are welcome! Hope you enjoy it!
Great content, immediately subscribed! I would love to see the warrior poet version on the elite configuration. Wanted to support the WPS as well as get the version I actually want. Phenomenal gun!
They are indeed! Very flat shooting! Haven’t seen a WPS version around but you can expect a DR920 elite review in the next couple months!
Just sold me! Great vid cant wait to get one.
Heck yeah!
excellent review; i love my MR920, by far my favorite gun
Thank you!
I bought an MR920 Combat a few months ago. I really like shooting with it. So much so, I put a War Poet pistol on back order, and found a FDE MR920 Elite. Really good value for what you’re getting.
It’s a phenomenal value when you look at it comparatively to the others on the market and everything you get! Thank you for watching!
hows your MR920 holding up????
@@Sievert31 all of them are holding up really well. I qualified with my department to use the FDE MR920 elite as my off duty pistol, and had zero issues.
@@sheltermemercury excellent thank you for responding
It’s the gen 4 platform I believe. Switch in an apex connector to it and that trigger is amazing for a striker fired pistol. I have the DR 920 and it’s my favorite pistol I’ve ever owned still to this day.
It’s off of a Gen 3 as are all the Glock clones due to the patent running out. They are sweet for sure, I’m sure in the near future I will pick up a DR920!
@@HuntFishShootChannel it’s gen4. The mag release is gen4. The trigger housing is also gen4. The backstrap is also gen 4.
You are correct, compatibility is good for both of them!
Great gun + great background music :)
Thank you!
I concur with all your findings, great review! K I am now a new sub .
Awesome, thanks for the support!
Loving the content
Thank you James and thank you for watching!
Great review. Just purchased one earlier today after taking one for a "test drive" yesterday. Liked Glocks, but hated their grip.
The grip on these are better for sure!
awesome review, thank you. accurate, articulate and useful.
Thank you Jose!
I bought one of these a couple weeks ago and was able to take it to the range. also have a holosun 507C x2 GREEN on mine. by far the best shooting gun I have had. I traded a G45 mos towards this. Still have 2 G19 gen 5s to go with it too at home. one is an MOS with same optic but red dot. the gen 5 shoots very well too but this MR920 is sweet. light too!! like a glock on steroids! but still dependable unlike many modded Glocks and USA manufactured!
Absolutely! It’s very light and shoots really flat! I enjoy shooting it a lot and the holosun is a excellent red dot for the money. Thank you for watching!
Which dealer did you go through to purchase your MR920? How long was your wait?
It was a local store here that generally has them in stock, it’s called Fin Feather and Fur.
Good choice imo ! I ended up getting rid of my 19. Kept my 26 so I essentially have a 26 19 17 with mag change. Live my SS 920 ELITE. LOOKS COOL TOO
I had to sub based on the good review and also the bangin intro music, lol.
Hell yeah Matt! Thanks for the support!
Shot this gun today. So impressed I bought one... today!
Heck yeah! Glad you liked it!
Thank you for this video. Have a good holster in mind for this? Not sure how well they work in glock designed holsters
It’s a Glock clone, so anything for a G19 will work!
This is the best shooting poly pistol on the market, and I've shot damn near all of them. Its gets back on target so efficiently. The short reset makes u wanna go fast.
You are correct! If I can get my hands on the DR920 Im sure it would be even better!
@@HuntFishShootChannel I have a dr920 going to be here tomorrow. I shot my mr920 next to my p226 legion SAO and it even out shined that pistol. The mr920 is so efficient in everything it does.
@@paulh6101 I just traded my P226 elite for the MR920 elite so it makes me feel better to see another sig owner say this.

@@itseric1jzson i got a deal from a friend but $440. its about $1k+ brand new.
Good review, nice shooting.
Thank you! Thank for watching too!
Love mine... 400 hundred rounds and all good. I am accustomed to the 1911 grip angle and have steered clear of the glock because of the way they line up but with the grip system it lines up exactly as my Les Bear 1911. Very accurate and flat like they advertise
For sure but it’s no Les Baer .... it’s great for a striker fired gun!
Grip angle has kept me away from glocks as well and I always considered myself a sig guy (considering my price range) then I handled this gun.. Now I'm patiently waiting for it to come in stock to make it my new ccw.
Cameraman here.. I’ve always felt the same way about Glocks.. the grip angle just doesn’t feel right to me, but this Shadow Systems feels great!
Your reviews are the best on UA-cam. Very happy I found your channel! Keep up the good work!
Thank you! We appreciate that and we appreciate you checking out our channel!
Great video! I like both of mine but only have 250 rounds through them.
That’s ok! It’s an awesome gun!
I like doing my owen upgrades for my glock I can get such a deep ledge and my polishing job under the trigger guard I due better also aftermarket crushes I can run different magwells and choose owen sights which I wouldn't run anything except Costa sights from night fison and trigger ill take a timny so my aftermarket glock just rages at the range I also like my trigger weight to be 3.5 lbs so I due a tti grandmaster spring kit I love it you can get for that money a oz9 .
Great Channel and excellent reviews! Stumbled on this channel looking for content on the MR/DR920 and the Walther PDP; and you review both. I'm thinking about getting either MR920 or DR920 by Shadow
Systems or the Walther PDP. Just curious how would you compare the MR920 to the PDP and which do you prefer? Thanks
We are glad you came across our channel! They are both excellent handguns. I would probably buy the PDP over the Shadow Systems. They are both really nice handguns which shoot great. The PDP is about $300 dollars cheaper which will leave you with more money to spend on a red dot, ammo, magazines or holster. The M920 is definitely a flatter shooting gun as are all the Glock designs, they lend themselves to be that way because of how well you can control recoil with them. But it’s not that much better than a PDP. They both have trade offs and in all honesty you really couldn’t go wrong with either.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Thank God you said that because I was literally about to purchase the MR920 Elite this afternoon but I love my PDP w/the 507c. Great review of both pistols.
Great video. Great info and objective.
Thank you David! Glad you enjoyed it!
Damn where has this channel been? Amazing content!!
We out here! Thanks!
I love the second amendment 🇺🇲
So do we!
110% agree . I've became huge fan of the MR920 & MR920L Combat Optic Ready . I've been using G19 since 2006 . So I'm fan for sure . I rarely use G19 anymore since picking up 920s . The 920L I got month or so ago and absolutely love it . The 19x or G45 never made much sense to me . So when the 920L came out I jumped all over it . The mods that come from the factory make Stock Glock look pretty silly. Plus the MOS sucks balls. MR mounting system is light years better .
Agreed on all points! The optics mounting platform on the shadow system is arguably one of the best in the industry from the factory. The 920 is such a nice shooting gun, it’s hard not to like!
EXACTLY
Thank you for giving such a good Smart review
You are welcome! Thanks for watching!
In other reviews, a common theme I observe is that the shell ejection pattern is haphazard, sometimes hitting the operator. Have you experienced that with your gun? If so, did it go away after a while?
No, not a single time. I have fired about 600 rounds through mine. They do state specifically the gun has a 200 round break in period when you browse the manual.
Is the grip angle or frame ergonomics on the Shadow Systems pistol different than a standard Glock? Wasn't sure if it is more similar to a 1911 grip angle vs the Glock 22 degree angle.
The grip angle isn’t necessary differently, however with the back straps they provide you can alter the point of aim to suit your needs.
Are you still putting rounds through the 920 ? curious on how the reliability has been , did the slide release break in ? Thanks
The slide release did break in, easily changed out of wanting something else. When I sold it to fund other guns for the channel, I had roughly 600 rounds through it with no malfunctions!
I have had mine for a few months now. I also have a few 1911's. I am a huge fan of the 1911 grip angle. The mr920, while a very slight improvement on the standard glock grip angle, is still not a 1911 grip angle. It still points high for me. I haven't tried a wolf frame to see if that's closer.
Also first 2 mags shot through it, the last round in each was a failure to feed. (shooting s&b hollow point) That doesn't seem like an issue with the gun, but an issue with the mags. I still have to test a bunch more, but if it continues to do it, I'll have to get a bunch of oem glock mags to try instead. Waiting to do that until I have enough extra ammo to shoot a couple hundred without depleting my stock to nearly nothing.
Trigger is significantly better than a standard glock. Optics cut is great. I got it with the holosun and really liking that too. Hoping after some break in it will be flawless so I can trust it enough to carry. Right now that's not the case.
I still think it's a better value than piecing one together.
It’s a fantastic value and an awesome shooter! Definitely give it that 200 round break in period, if you haven’t try out the other back straps they sent and see if you can adjust the point for you! Thank you for watching!
@@HuntFishShootChannel yep. I did swap out the back strap to the "L" one which is supposed to be closest to 1911 grip angle. Still points high when I comfortably extend. Over the years of shooting different glocks (and other pistols with similar grip angle) I have just learned to almost hyper extend my arms a bit which forces my wrist to curl down. When I do that I don't have to force my wrist down and I immediately have the sight picture. It's not necessarily uncomfortable, but something I have to be aware of when using any pistol like that.
After watching every review of the 920 I could find, reading comments and articles, etc. It seems the failure to feed is pretty common during break in. I'm hoping that's the case. It was just odd that it happened on the last round of the mag every time. That was leading me to believe it was more due to the mag than the gun. I'll have to blow through a couple hundred rounds of white box ball ammo and try the hollow points again.
Good call and I know they are super quick with customer service and even claim a one week turnaround. So if you are having issues persistently I wouldn’t hesitate to contact costumer service. Mine was 100% reliable regardless of what it was fed from round one to almost 600 now.
Yep. It's not a 1911, but it's close. It's just like the HK p7 grip angle (110 degrees). FWIW: The 1911 has a 108 degree grip angle and standard glock is 112 degrees, so the MR920 is right in between a glock and 1911. The PMAGS also suck. Put in standard glock mags and your mag issues will go away... Especially if you are suffering from the pre-mature slide lock issue (locks back when there is still one round in the mag).
The large grip is the Glock similar angle. The medium grip is the neutral grip similar to a smith and Wesson or sig. the small grip is the one for simulating a 1911 grip. I think you have a grip problem if it’s pointing high. Most people that point a stock Glock with a 1911 grip naturally points down. When you modify a stock Glock frame with a deep undercut, it also makes it want to point down. I think you need to invest into some training, because after legit training you can go from a 1911 to stock Glock with a proper grip and it’ll point naturally, and in no instance of proper grip of any platform will it point up.
I have over 8k rounds through magpul mags without issues in stock glocks and a shadow systems. I own 10 magpul mags and 8 Oem Glock mags for the 19 platform and 8magpul mags in the 17 platform.
I had Two last round failures in my MR920 with both oem and magpul mags on the first four mags put through the gun The gun has tighter fitting components and needs a proper breakin. I highly recommend a little extra oil on the barrel and slide where the barrel ramp meets the slide during breakin. Too many people talk shit about magpul mags without experience with them, just like they did with AR mags when they were first put to market and now they are the industry standard, including the military and LE.
Great vid! I need that camo jacket.
Thank you Jay! It’s from Black Rifle Coffee Company!
I picked mine up today… waiting for the Holosun to arrive. Keeping my fingers crossed that it lives up to the hype.
No hype here! It’s the real deal. I have shot every Shadow Systems pistols to come out or out in the last two years and they are all awesome.
@@HuntFishShootChannel
So I took it to the range this past week. Had three different feed failures. I’ve contacted customer support about the magazine. Aside from that, once the Holosun was zeroed, had great performance on the paper targets.
Don’t forget their 200 round break in period which they make known. If issue persist definitely contact them. Their customer service is awesome from what we have heard.

@@Groundspeed320 how’s it doing now?
Would you trust this as your EDC gun? About to buy one and give my g19 MOS to my son. only worry is how it holds up.
💯 percent. If I could carry the DR920
My job I would. They are awesome.
Sig x macro or shadow systems mr920L for everyday carry? I come from glocks but don’t mind the sig. wish I could get both what’s your opinion?
That macro is a sweet shooter!!!
Great video. Just curious if you considered the MR920L or DR920 when you picked this up given their longer sight radius and barrel. Maybe the barrel helps to cover down okay. I’m leaning to Shadow Systems versus buying the G17 or G19 Gen 5. I want an easy shooter that’s dead accurate at 45 feet. Other considerations are the Sig Sauer P320 class (M17 or xcompact) and Springfield MP 2.0. Thoughts?
I went to what the MR920 due to the shorter barrel for easier concealment and the DR is a full size duty pistol. If you can afford it I would 100% buy this over a standard Glock. This model is an easy shooter and 45 ft shouldn’t give you any problems at all with any gun you choose with the right grip and trigger control. The Sig x compact and x carry are very nice and have a lot to offer. The Smith and Wesson is a bit behind the times kinda like a standard Glock and the XDM elite from Springfield is awesome. There are a ton of great options pick what fits and feels best for you!
@@HuntFishShootChannel thanks brother! Now I just have to find one. ;). Definitely taking your advice on the Shadow over the Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Would you say the Mr920 is flatter shooting with less recoil than the Sig Xcarry?
If you had to pick this or new Walther pdp?
Decisions, decisions. It depends on purpose but if you are looking for something duty or home defense in full-size like this or compact then I would say the PDP and you will save money. If you need something for concealed carry, the shadow is smaller and also smaller than the compact PDP so it will conceal easier. Recoil management on the shadow is a little better but not enough to say it’s way better than a PDP. If you want to save money, you can get the PDP put a red dot on it and be the same price as a Shadow Systems with no dot. They are both awesome pistols and couldn’t go wrong with either of them.
just got this gun and now looking for a optic. Any advice on an optic, would be helpful here
Holosun or Trijicon would be my pick!
Big fan of the Holosun 508t
You should try the Stoeger STR-9S Combat. It is an upgraded Glock for $499. You will be amazed how good the STR-9S Combat is, compared to the $900 plus Shadow Systems pistol.
If we find one out and about we will have to give it a shot! Have heard good things and they are intriguing, thank you for the recommendation.
@@HuntFishShootChannelFind one and it won't disappoint you. The Stoeger STR-9S Combat comes with red dot optics ready cut, fiber optic sights, front and rear serrations, a 4.67" threaded barrel, a flat smooth trigger, solid grip stippling, 3 extended base 20 rounds magazines included, a comp type magwell, the internal mechanism almost Glock identical... ALL that, at the amazing price (I paid) of $499 dollars plus taxes (MSRP is $549).
Why to buy a Shadow Systems for $900 plus dollars? When you can buy a Stoeger STR-9S Combat for $500!
Get it. You won't be disappointed. In fact, you will be amazed!
...add....if the upgrades e.g. RDO have to be shipped to countries like Canada....the gun shops need to recover their shipping costs....so the cost is higher there too. And they have to make a profit. Making the RDO cost almost as much as a new G19 Gen5. Potentially. If they're looking to buy a RMR or Aimpoint ARCO p2....2 of the most expensive RDO's....not sure if CDNs can get the Steiner MPS which might be THE most expensive pistol RDO.
Just bought this gun. Looking forward to shooting it. Got a suppressor for it as well. :)
I’m sure you will be happy with it! Enjoy it as much as we did!
Is the elite trigger better than the s&w 9 plus trigger i know this is a silly question
Yes it is better. But it will not feel like it out of the box. Glock triggers need broken in
Hey pal, what do you think are the warmest gloves that are still shootable? Winters coming and my digits get cold.
That’s a never ending quest. Sitka Gear Gunner gloves, First Lite Shale Hybrid Touch gloves are great. They are hunting gloves geared towards shooting. PIG delta gloves are what I’m wearing here and I use them at work. They work well, but aren’t the warmest and wouldn’t want to wear them for extended periods of time, like 2 hours or more. PIG makes some cold weather ones which I bet are good considering how well the other gloves they have for shooting are. Lastly I have some Mechanix fast fit CW gloves which I can shoot fairly well In them but not a favorite, yet only costs about $20 bucks!
@@HuntFishShootChannel thank you I'll look into these
I’ve heard some complaints about the slide release. I wonder if they have some QC issues because I just got mine last week and I haven’t put a single round through it. And the slide release is great. And I struggle with some slide releases.
No I don’t think it’s anything like that, some guns just have stiff slide releases out of the box, this one has softened up a little more now and is getting easier!
@@HuntFishShootChannel Good to know. Thanks for the response.
Absolutely! Thank you for watching!
Mine is fine
Which backstrap puts the grip angle like the 1911?
Not sure which backstrap that is, I would recommend each one and see which helps you point the pistol the best
Would anyone know if the Glock 19 mags work this firearm and if so have you had any malfunctions?
Yes they do and work well. Zero malfunctions.
Any plans on looking at the DR920? Or is that too redundant after doing this?
It’s possible, as we have given it some thought. If we find one before the end of the year we will probably try one out!
Just ordered the war poet edition. Can’t wait.

Didn't hear him mention the Holosun but you can add the Holosun upon ordering and it comes with it for cheaper than you can buy it. 1150 gets you a fully ready custom gun. They do a great job of giving you a nice custom for under 1200 although it's already quite controllable they are really really good once ported
Great deal!
That wasn’t available when we filmed this and this video is a few years old!
Don't put on a light. It is a bad guy magnet
@16theaceman you can’t shoot what you can’t see. Unless you want to go to prison of course.
Will it fit safariland ALS holsters for gen 4 g17 mos since the MR920 has a threaded barrel?
The MR is a 19 size gun and safariland holsters are based off the frame
Of the guns and locks onto the frame/trigger guard. Just find a G19 sized one with no barrel plug or made for one with comp/threaded barrel.
@@HuntFishShootChannel thank you
What brand is that camouflage jacket?
Black Rifle Coffee Company Woobie hoody
The AmeriGlo sights will co-witness with the Trijicon RMR but WILL NOT co-witness with the Delta Point Pro. It will require a taller sights and Shadow Systems recommends the AmeriGlo 5XL.
You are correct, they make that very apparent in their literature included with the pistol or on their site
Are the ejected rounds hitting the red dot?
No issues like that, it’s just the camera angle and video causing it to appear that way!
great video!! just got one and am having a hard time finding a level 2 duty holster for it that can also work with a light :( do you know of any?
Any G19/ G17 holster will work for level 2 and the right light. Just pay attention if it will fit a threaded barrel
ok awesome! thank you sir!@@HuntFishShootChannel
My new Glock next month on order.
Enjoy it Chester! Thank you for watching!
That's why I'm lovin my MR920 ELITE with red dot !. HEHEHEHEHEHEHE
It’s a tack driver and so easy to shoot!
What ammo did you run through it..
Winchester white box, Norma range ammo.
Awesome video... Grade A content.
Thanks!
I currently use a Canik TP9SF Elite, has anybody used both of these firearms and able to compare the 2? I am wondering if I should purchase the MR920
They are quite a bit different but both are excellent. You couldn’t go wrong with either
The Shadow System guns I’ve seen have Night Fision iron sights🤷🏽♂️do most come with Ameriglo?
No, I believe they started using night fision on the newer models. This video is over a year old at this point now.
@@HuntFishShootChannel gotch, thank you!
Still give the zev a slight advantage over the shadow except in grip texture and I love glock and glock clones for me won’t beat a CZ kills a sig for me 3 malfunctions in the first 50 been good since
That’s the beauty of it! Personal preference is important in defensive firearms!
What's the main difference between this and the CR920?
Size and capacity
What kinda jacket do you got on? So dope man I want it lol
That’s from Black Rifle Coffee! It’s awesome and very comfortable.
Absolutely love it, want one but I am afraid of the issues I’ve heard many many people have? What do you think? It’s even on their FB groups.
Which issues? I have put a lot of rounds through both the M920 and now my DR920. They have been nothing but reliable. Fear not. Not to mention scour the forums enough and there isn’t a pistol or gun make and model you won’t find some issues on in isolated cases.
@@HuntFishShootChannel thank you!
You are welcome!
How do you compare this to the TP9 elite? Which do you like better?
I prefer this by a large margin. But if you were to ask Andrew, he likes his TP9 elite better. My reasoning is the ability to control recoil and shoot fast is easier and more forgiving. Due large in part to the lower bore axis. Also the optics mounting platform on the Shadow is far superior to the Canik.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Thank you for your reply!
You are welcome!
It is a 👌 pistol. I've had my MR920L model for two months now. 😎🤘🍻. Those Texas men & women did it. 💪🇺🇲💪
They sure did!!!!
@@HuntFishShootChannel I'm not going to B.S. I love! My Smith&Wesson M&P9 2.0 4.25 metal. OUTSTANDING pistol. Was going to buy Smith&Wesson competitor metal. But, after laying down now 1,300 rounds on my MR920L. I this close 🤏 to buying shadow systems DR920L. BUT! Walter's Q4 sf non optic cut, is next. Then DR920L. I'm not a red dot person. But, if I get that DR920L. yes sir. That pistol will get a red dot.
Heck yeah James! I love red dot’s personally and they are the way of the future, however nothing wrong with irons!
So do Glock mags work with this?
Yes! I used Glock mags just as much as the Magpul ones without issue
So you own a Kriss Vector I see. Will the MR920 mags fit on the 9mm Kriss Vector?
DR920 magazines or G17 mags do.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Thank you.
Great shooting pistol 100%
We Agree!
Are you the only one qualified to handle that glock fawty?
That’s debatable, at least a .22
Is this the 4" barrel option or the 4.5"?
This is the MR920, standard not the long slide. The barrel is a touch longer due to this being a threaded barrel model.
Ok thank you sir....I was just wondering since you can order 4", 4.5", and 5" barrel on the site I looked at. Thanks for the info
I need to try one out for sure. Im a Glock Fan Boy and I would love to ring one out.
You will like it for sure if you are Glock fan! It’s a sweet shooting gun! Thank you for watching!
Pistol is amazing I have well over 2k thru it and trigger just got better.
I agree Jason! The trigger has gotten better for sure! Way smoother and a good crisp break!
I’ve since sold all my glocks. Have the combat. Have rhe Dr920 on the way and getting an elite MR920 after that.
@@Freakingstang same! I sold my 19 got the Mr920 and never looked back. Just got the Walther PDP and the hype is real the trigger is unreal best I have ever used. Getting a Canik tp9sfx next!
you like this over PDP?
The standard PDP yes, I would say this and PDP Pro SD are about the same in favoritism but a slight edge to the Pro SD for its trigger and out of the box features at its price. The Shadow Systems pistols do shoot noticeably flatter or recoil flatter per se than the Walther stuff but that’s not even to say the PDP pistols are bad either.
Name of the background song?
Curious George
One key note he forgot to mention or I think he did I’m still watching this video while I’m typing this out if u read there manual you’ll use that if this gun was used in a self defense situation and you were found not guilty and everything worked out and u happen to still lose the gun or the cops just don’t give it back to you shadow systems will give you another gun without any charges. Now that’s amazing especially if your like me and only have one gun for everything. And for that reason alone shadow systems won me over
I did not mention that! Thank you for watching!
