This was so fun to see a person of my generation still have this enthusiasm, its all-encompassing of the TRL era and also makes me feel like a kid again. For people who say they just don't get it: There was a point in time when Nsync, BSB, Britney, Christina, Aaron Carter and 98 degrees ruled our TV channels. I was more of a NSYNC fan myself growing up. I respect everyone else including BSB for going for as long as they have for 30 years. I would come home from school and do my homework. Watch TRL and see if NSync or Bsb had the number one video for that day. The AOL internet service had the most fun way of promoting music back then. It was just a simpler time for many of us.

You're right. I was never particularly fond of most boy bands, the notable exceptions being One Direction and the Jonas Brothers. But I will agree with you that N'Sync had - and still have - excellent vocal harmonies. And this particular song I actually do kinda like. (I have no be careful how enthusiastic I am about my endorsement, lest my fellow dudes revoke my Man Card. 🤣 )
It is wonderful, though, to see you smiling and giddy with delight after the past few months. You're always so empathetic to others and bringing encouragement and support that it's only fair that you should enjoy real joy and happiness, too. If you and I knew each other in person and hung out, I would gladly listen to boy bands with you all day if it brings you that much joy. 😊
As an aside, I believe it was N'Sync that performed on a song with my favorite country music band Alabama back in 1997 or 98. (Alabama are also known for their great vocal harmonies, so it was kind of a logical fit).

The ' goes BEFORE the N! I got so adament about that as a teen that my elderly mom started correcting people. HAHA. Yes, I remember that Alabama did God Must Have Spent. I like Alabama (Missouri girl at heart), but their rendition just didn't do it for me. Hey, the dudes might revoke your man card for your *N Sync enthusiasm, but that leaves you amidst countless thirsty women falling over themselves for men they can't have and will need to channel all that somewhere, so is it ALL bad?

I was super excited to hear they had a new song! However when I listened to it, I didn't know it was for a Trolls movie and I thought it sounded more like a Justin song for a movie. when I found out it was for Trolls, it made sense. 😂 I like it, don't get me wrong and it was cool to hear all their voices again but it leans more towards a Justin song than NSYNC to me. 🤷♀️

What makes this song special is the fact Dave interlaced the song titles of 22 earlier Megadeth songs into the lyrics. They are more harmony, always have been. There are songs that are the exception ( I Drive Myself Crazy for Chris, Everything I Own for Lance and I Thought She Knew for Joey), but they are mostly the harmony. I agree though that I would have liked to have solos for them in this.

I'm glad you like the song and I'm glad you get so much joy out of it. I'm not exactly fan of N Sync and its not a band I care about and their lyrics mean just about nothing to me but if it makes you feel better that is all that matters.
Their lyrics represent a time in my life when things were whimsical and fun and I could have romantic day dreams. Those things tend to get stripped from us as we enter adulthood, so I love the lyrics for not being heavy!
