Minors was a never reference to miners like those in a coal mine, it is for all minor children as opposed to minors on epstein Island that made the head lines, he is saying politicians should care for all children not just the ones in the news.

I used to own a Mustang/Bobcat/Pinto? (That's what the repair books called them). Had a Rebel Flag sunscreen in the back window. I took out the back seat and made a structure out of 2 x 4's and plywood, and put in 15" woofers. It thumped. 30 Days In The Hole was my fav song, back then? Nice car you have! He lives in a 20 camper with a tarp he got off craigslist on 29 acres in VA. He canceled a concert whens he found of the tickets were $99 each. The went to Civic Center and tickets were $25 each in the same town and he sent the money back to all who had paid $99. he has been making youtube outside on his smartphone. The local radio station, Radiowv and the nice mike and good cameras the radio station brought them out to Oliver's pace and recorded like 4 high quality raw just outside with his dogs. nice

This is one of very few modern-day country songs that has truth and meaning behind it. the amount of hrs I put into work on a daily basis to pay the bills and taxes while subconsciously trying to avoid the quietness at home. It is really unhealthy and far too easy to get stuck in the habit of.. thanks for the video.

Love your reaction as always and love the song. One point I'd like to make as a disabled veteran who unfortunately has to rely on different forms of government assistance I would love to eat healthier. The fact is the cheapest food is often the unhealthiest food like pasta and potatoes. If the government wants to subsidize something how about making the healthiest foods like fresh fruits and vegetables the cheapest food. God bless and much love from a Ford man west of Foard county.

This song hits on so many things. The taxation without representation is something that has hit home to me as someone who has come from nothing (literally as an adult I lived in my car for many months) and once I created a great life for myself my taxes have gone up so much it’s almost like it’s not worth it making more and more at this point. I was better off not making as much. The six feet underground is a rough reference and yet so few people realize how BAD it is for young men. They are killing themselves at levels very few people even understand at this point because no one ever really talks about it. Great reaction

He knows if he'd recorded this under a big label it probably never would have seen the light of day and you would never be reacting to it on youtube. His channel is nearing 100 million views because it's become an international phenomenon. It's not just us here in the U.S. who resonate with the message of this song. It's resonating with the "common" people struggling to just get by in countries across the globe.

  • @EdwardKocialski

Minors could refer to miners of minors. I believe the references is to children because the rest of the verse is about children and from interviews with the artist. In these interviews, he mentions reading about families on the edge, where the children qualify for free breakfast and lunch at school. Come the summer, the kids can get a free breakfast, but there is no lunch program. The families are close enough to the precipice, that there is no alternative but to eat less when school is out. That's the line "folks on the street ain't got nothing to eat." The line on milking welfare is from another article he read which exposing how much of SNAP is spent on junk food and soft drinks. So, one group of poor eats junk while the other eats nothing; both groups lose. A commentary of how inefficient the government is at taking care of its citizens. This is not just about life in the USA. This song has gone viral across the world, because this is what the elites are doing everywhere. I've heard reactors from several overseas countries, and everyone says the same thing, this in an anthem for the common man. Talking about mental health, react to his song "I want to go Home"

    Don't give up, keep fightin'
As a man, our son is our horizon
And our fathers' actions play a role and we end up like him
So they can't let us see them hurt
'Cause we'll embody what we do and start a generational curse
No wonder most men are so depressed
All the things that they can't express
They go to war, get thrown on the shelf
Then go back to war with they mental health
Then grab that bottle and ask for help
Try to pull themselves out of hell
Then fall back down and then realize
That they gon' have to do it themselves

Hey Amanda, long time listener, first time commenter. I found you after my love of 10 years cheated on me, left me, and I was going through my old vinyl one night. You posted the Megadeth-In my darkest hour video around that time, and that song was my anthem at the time. Anyway, this song by Mr. Anthony hit me hard. What a strange Time. I’d like to shout out to all the men and women who recognize the suicide rate for men and how hard it is some times. We need to get right. I’m at 1% battery but please consider reviewing a song off megadeths latest album, such as Killing Time, though Mr. Mustaine put legendary lyrics all over the album . ❤ thanks for the positive outlook. PS, check the remixes of “rich men”out there, like the guy name Dax…very emotional for me as a male, not sure if it translates. Waiting for relief.

Just picked up your reaction. You seem like a bright light, and I loved that you got the meaning of the song, including the food stamps reference, right off the bat. You should check out one of his other songs, "I Want to Go Home." "Show Goes On" by Taylor Goyette is also great. Hope you have a great week!

The comment about the house? That is my main goal. I just want to be home. I don't go anywhere, I don't do anything? I just want to be home.
That might change after retirement? Who knows. 30 years of being away. 30 years of life in a hotel? I just want to be home.
Tip for you? If you have to stay in a hotel, ask for a handicapped room. They are HUGE? They are cleaner, because no one uses them much.
They are SO much nicer than a regular room. You will never go back. You don't have to climb stairs. Absolutely no downside. Sometimes I get
the same room 6 trips in a row? I always tell my conductors, that if the maid tries to clean it, she is going to make it dirty? lol. I clorox wipe everything.
The toilet, the tv remote, the surfaces of everything. When I leave, I strip the bed. I wipe down the shower. I mop the floors. I might get it next time?
I've had the maids tell me thank you, lol. I carry my own pillow. All they have to do is put on new sheets, and maybe vacuum. Home away from home.
I buy the girls at the front desk a big box of Cosmic Brownies, or Honey Buns or what ever? It makes a huge difference? It makes people happy.
They work a lot harder, and for less pay than me. Spread love where you can. Ya know?

Work all that time to not spend time in. Sometimes that is self inflicted. This lady I worked with wanted to quit and work part time as a teacher's assistant in elementary schools part time. She loved kids. I asked he why she did not. This was 15 years ago. She spent 50,000 on a minivan and the payments were pretty high... and he husband had just bought a $60,000 truck. I told her if you just sold both and paid cash on 2 used vehicles and had PLPD for her insurance she could save about $1500 a month. She was only making $2200 so she only needed to make $700 a month as a teacher's assistant. Another person decided when her grandmother had died that she would buy the property (that nobody in the family wanted) and took on a second job to make the payments. I told her that this was stupid because eventually something was going to happen and you would likely loose the property... or she would go insane. She kept it up for 3 years and then lost the property. Another lady spend a ton of money on a big pool for her house and I guess all the maintenance, water, and chemicals was costing something crazy like $10,000 a year. She would pick up a ton of overtime to pay for it... and then complain that she never got to use it.
Now I gave up the rat race. I worked fast food for 9 years and a factory job for 15 then got laid off. I was struggling with health issues and just road out my unemployment as long as I could. After that I had to make a decision. Go back to work and deal with all the pain and not be able to see my kids... or get a very part time job working at home doing something I like and spend more time with my kids. I would be on Medicaid and Food stamps, but I could get into physical therapy and be able to limit the pain and I could take pain medicine to help with the rest. So that is what I did. I had to give up my car, but I just was not using it and I have to dip into my limited retirement every year. The whole line I was on got laid off. They all spent all their retirement within a year because they lived paycheck to paycheck and could not survive on unemployment. I told them I could make it at least 5 years. They said BS. I actually have half of the $60k left in my retirement and I have been laid off for 13 years now. I make about $14,000 a year. This is considered poverty, but I do just fine. I have a ton of equity in my house too that I can use if really needed (at least $160K) and I still have $30K in my IRA. I actually only make about $9,000 on my job and pull about $5,000 out of my IRA every year. I am doing just fine.

This song is for the common working man, this applies to all blue collared workers as well in middle class....people are callling this the workers anthem, it crosses racial and country lines as well.
Inflation is all over the globe, i live in Canada and this applies to us here as well.
