Back in the 70's I Lived in Davidsonville MD, my community was called Riverwood. Behind our house was patuxent river, with creeks and many ponds. My first and only Pickerel was caught in one of these creeks, I didn't even have a rod. Just some fishing line with a lure at the end of it, this was my first exposure to a fish I have never seen before. I couldn't believe the teeth on this thing, I didn't know what it was.............so I released it back into the creek. It wasn't until a few years went by when I finally realized what I had caught....................The ponds were filled with big bass, one day I was hunting rabbits with no luck and walked by some of the ponds and shot the biggest bass I have ever seen. Nothing tastes better than fresh fish..........Oh how I MISS THE 70's.
