Our channel is amazing. It's true because I wrote this statement and I also make the videos. The channel is all about ditching the comforts of home for adventure, travel, outdoors, and life lived in whatever way suites you best. We (my wife and 3 kids) sold everything we owned a while back to travel full-time in a small travel trailer. After that we moved back into a regular home to find more adventures in new ways.
Whisky also evaporates while it's sitting in the barrel. So the longer it stays there, the less volume the distillery gets out.
I think you have the answer to what makes whiskey better. It usually makes cigars better also. The expense comes in storage for both. With time comes evaporation loss (it's called "The Angels Share"). For cigars it is also quality of the leaf and from which part of the tobacco plant the leaf came from and even where in the world it was grown. It's interesting topics to explore.

Other than the aging and popularity aspect, regardless of what alcohol you're drinking. What could make the alcohol more expensive is how filtered it is before it's aged or stored for aging. If even stored in the first place, as opposed to being sent straight to market shelves. Hope this comment is helpful !

Hey! Greetings from Baltic states, Latvia. I would like to say that Your videos are pretty nice, especially, about cigars and bourbon, whiskey. I would like to know more about American bourbons. What are best bourbons in American and how actually they are good ? What is your opinion ? I can say that in Baltic states we have these most popular Jim Beam, Jack Daniels... the price about Woodford reserve or Elijah Craig are crazy 😀. Keep going man!

Treat yourself to some New Riff bourbon or whiskey if you are able to find it. I found it in Middleton, KY, and it’s also supposed to be readily available in Chattanooga and Nashville. Another sleeper is Broken Barrel (which I thought was the other bottle you had there): their stuff is pretty interesting for the low price point.

Sazerac Rye Whiskey is my favorite. Johnny Walker red is ok ,I have to make it the way Winston Churchill made it with soda water which his family called it "mouthwash" to mellow it out.
