    With soaring house and condo prices, many are turning towards rental places. www.Ashiro.ca is in operation since year 2015 and have reported increase in demand for rental properties in last two years and noticed a big gap between rental seekers and rental homes. Ashiro.ca is making efforts to minimize this gap by connecting renters with rent seekers.

    i heard that basement in winter is not really recommended because whoever accommodate the main house will absorb all the heat that comes up from your heater in the basement along with the ones his heater already emits , also there aren't that many options to have some fresh air in your home.
    isn't that right ?

    • @AjayBalharaLive
      @AjayBalharaLive  5 років тому

      every one has a different recommendation. i still hv not experienced any such issue. Anyway you are gonna be out for work, so the amount of time you stay in there wont be that long. Also its just the initial arrangement to save money. If you have an open budget then yes its better to live in a condo or an apartment. But if you want to save money initially then for 6 months its not a bad idea, In winters in canada, you are not going to keep ur windows open anyway.

    Hi Jake, I have a few questions for you regarding basements:
    1. Would it be advisable to sign a lease or do you think paying rent without a lease is also an OK way to go about it? My landlord is flexible in this option. What are the legal implications? (For example, if the landlord wants to evict me for any reason.. do they still have to give notice even without a lease?)
    2. If I'm paying only half of the rent while my sibling pays the other half.. but the lease is on my name.. can I write that in my tax returns? or would I need to claim paying full rent?
    Thanks.

    • @AjayBalharaLive

For that reason stick to best rental websites such as Rentwell.ca, viewit and rentboard and never hand out money to anyone without physically viewing the property and having a signed lease. Sorry Mate. I live in Toronto. But the best advice would be to get a real estate agent as they don't charge you any fees and hv a good collection of properties

    Hey ! I liked your video and I want to ask you that I got the admission in Humber college Lakeshore campus. So in which area I would be renting a house near to my college in Toronto ?

      It's pretty close to main downtown area. So it depends on your budget and how much traveling time you want.

    Also, we are just two months Old in the country & we don't have credit scores or a Job letter. We live in a government shelter. Please how do you recommend we get a good house since the government is going to help us pay..
