Fosgate is vicious! A lot of younger people don't realize what they can do and why they are expensive. I used to have two of the old school T'1 12's with the aluminum cones and they hit harder than anyone in my neighborhood. I was only using a 600 watt amp and an 85 amp alternator and it still hit hard! Nowdays you need a huge amp and huge alternator to get the same volume level I used to get back in 2007. I'm still running 2 fosgate t1d2 12s. I have them on a pair of audio control 1500.1s @4 ohms. I can't find a reason to get rid of them till I get a pair of 13s.
@@Equineeducation77 the power series Rockford and jl (im assuming the w7) are 2 very different woofers. Only thing they share is the price lol. But yea the rms for the Rockford are about twice that of the w7s.
For one 13, basically a 12 with some extra cone area, that shit bangs, and not only does it bang, it sounds good af, it sounds like a JL W7 but beefier.
Man I got 2 T1 12s non ported in a rogue and it is crazy with great sq. I had 2 p3s in a ported that were even crazier but less sq. Im about to mix the 2 and would love to do something like this guy plans on.

It hits hard man. Now do you think that going maybe going to the single 19” would just be better for the air space that the car is. Not saying that you couldn’t just build the box for them but your car is a big part of the enclosure than most think. I bet the 10” would be the better gain
I really don't think you need to upgrade the alternator it's usually hard to do and most shops are going to try to rip you off especially if you don't know exactly what it is you need what I would do is ask somebody who's been in the game for a while all you need is the big three
I have the same car, running a 5k amp on an 18. I can't hear a single rattle. There's a lot that goes into sound treatment. I recommend doing your research. Vehicle panel flex is not a good thing

@andrew alarcon I am considering the same upgrade, but 2 13s to replace my t1 12s. In the only way I can understand..... one T213 equal to 3/4 the output of two t112s. Two 13s would be 1 1/2 the output of two 12s. That's what I was told to expect in my situation anyhow. There are a lot of variables of course but that was the break down when talking about my ex cab pickup. Now I'm thinking about 4 Tt112s instead of 13s lol
My Accord has lds power system. Hook up a volt meter and you will likely see with the lights and/or ac on it will output 13.8 to14.5 ish When you don't you will find around 12 to 12.5v on high load draw because the lds doesn't know to kick up the alt. This also happens with aftermarket alts
