What I like most is the portrayal of GDI in the Second Tib and Third Tib eras. All the video cutscenes with GDI in the second tib era portray GDI soldiers as battle-hardened soldiers who play loose with the rules because they just fought a global war so their focus is war and leave a lot of the prim and proper stuff to the wayside. GDI in the third tib era is portrayed as a much later post-war faction that hasn't seen war in a long time so the military spends most of its time doing parade drill stuff like shining their shoes or making sure their uniforms are clean, not preparing for war. Its a very realistic portrayal of what militaries are like during wartime and during extended eras of peace
It also explains why GDI stopped using mechs like the Titan and Wolverine. The brass decided they were no longer needed, and so scrapped the lot. Even the campaign intel portrays this as an in-universe controversy, with many civilians and veterans accusing them of being a bunch of penny-pinching tories more concerned with saving money than global security.
@@ShawndaPrawn There's also the fact that mechs in reality aren't impractical, and while they're certainly an impressive force projector, the reality is that you could probably get the same result if you deployed a more powerful tank, and for a cheaper price too. As far as I'm concerned, GDI needed mechs to overcome Nod base defences, which ultimately resulted in the Juggernaut which is considered a wild successes and worth its investment.
They really could use the already existing groups when making a fourth game. Remake the main factions a little but keep most of their units from C&C 3, and go crazy with the 6 remaining sub factions. I have wonderful ideas for each of them.
I tend to turtle up and then I create massive steamroller type pushes so my levels take an hour or more each to finish. Well done sir you've shown me a different way to play
For the longest time, I figured Steel Talons was McNeil's doing as a last middle finger to Nod. It certainly would hit all the right buttons and further lean into why Kane wanted to avoid a direct fight with them at first.
mission 4 on easy is actually harder, because instead of orca you are attacked by hammerhead who guns down saboteurs in seconds and orca misses every time...
I'm still stuck in Mission 3 so, thanks for your video that helping me. :) I love this game rather then C&C 4. for me C&C 4 not too great because they have maximum but in C&C 3, there was no maximum and it doesn't need rank for you to have this unit or what. I can barely make it through the first 6 missions on normal and this man go and not only beat the whole thing on hard but do it with flare and style. Love the entire c&c franchise except for the one ugly duckling in the group but other than that one they are all amazing. Hope to one day see a new one that isn't abysmal and goes back to the old days like tib3 hell I wouldn't mind seeing tib3 and 4 being mashed together by having 3s game structure along with 4s units because I will admit I love the units in tib4 but hate the game play. Hard mode is comparable to medium AI in my opinion. While this strategy is time consuming, All you have to do to pass a level is fortify your main base well. Expand and fortify that base. Claim most economy on the map and start building out towards your enemy’s base. Then fortify that. This doesn’t work in “all that glitters” since you don’t have a base but all you really have to do is place beacons out of range of the enemy needs start hammering them down
Must admit I'm a bit disappointed that Nod became "a shadow of it's former self". I expected aan all ouz 3 front war between the GDI, Nod and the Scrin.
With the introduction of the Marked of Kane at that point, it seemed like Nod was shifting its forces towards an almost all-cyborg army with relatively few actual Humans, similar to CABAL but without the Skynet tendencies. Shame we never got to see that, what with the series ending here and all.
Mission 9 is hilariously bonkers to behold. Red, green and purple Nod factions all attacking a GDI base. Just peak Nod. Also I'd be curious to know at what stage in the TW campaign mission 11 and Alexa's attempt to delete Legion takes place.
funny how the last mission and the mission before it are a bit messed up about how a player should play them. The cyborgs awakening mission is supposed to be done by capturing the nodes so the cyborgs epically stomp the GDI, and in the last one you're supposed to use the BH and vNod factions as well. Last mission in particular pisses me off cause it's the only mission you get to use MoK and the MoK specific infantry get shredded by anything, and actually the whole missions is best done with fat a Venom blob
@@tickoman273 yup, they typically use awakened to diasable epic units and nothing more. TBH, oodles of units aren't used in Multiplayer, which makes it boring, since everybody knows a perfect/most optimal strategy for each faction and just spams certain units.
Noticed that style of HDW. The guy spares no expense for war. Could it be Ra3 or Kane`s Wrath it doesn`t matter, he has all his money invested in the army. His accountant must be happy or vice versa, depends on POW
Nod could have used the Threshold to leave years earlier if it weren't for Alexa. Instead they had to hang around for five years and get almost wiped out by GDI.
Can someone please explain mission 7? It's so absurdly hard compared to the previous ones. I don't understand. Even after my 6th attempt when I knew where everything was on the map I still lost at the end when I had to do the escort at the end. It's ridiculous.
if you were familiar with series lore you would know the mask is actually a healing device because Kane was in the radious of a massive Ion blast at the end of Tib war 2 and had to hide this fact from people to keep faith
Mission 1-4 is between the 2nd (Tiberian Sun) and 3rd Tiberium War (Tiberium Wars). Mission 5-11 is along with Tiberium Wars. Last 2 is after Tiberium Wars.

I don't understand, didn't that space station Philadelphia already get shot down in the NOD campaign in the original c&c3? I'm watching on mission 6 right now and they are talking about disrupting the ion cannon and shooting down the Philadelphia, but all that already happened in c&c3, I thought this was an expansion pack, it seems like they are just going back through the NOD campaign again here.
Kane's Wrath is a storyline from Kane's perspective in 2034 - 2052. Kane's Wrath focuses on the events following the Firestorm Crisis, before and during the Third Tiberium War, and shortly after. Tiberium Wars game takes place in 2047 - 2049 years (The 3rd Tiberium War).

This game expansion is all out of wack. Reason: no GDI or scrin missions and only play as those cape wearing nod bad guys that cannot win a war against GDI. Why it’s a nod campaign only, why?
honestly....it shows that the script writing for kanes dialog and personality ..suffered.. under EA :/ why ? simple.... in tiberian sun & firestorm ....his use of religion was far more overt ,so it not harmed his personality cult if he lost ground there , just like back there he his reaction to GDI employing espionage assets to clear the way for leadership that be long term self destructive for the brotherhood... like a grand architect ,he simply acknowledged ther efforts and a couple of times even pitied he not 'could' throw his lot in with them instead.... in tib 3 , or this ? ...he acts much more like generic dull megalomaniac run of the mill cult leader :/ so much lose of..depth..so to speak , and thats not even going into the putrid thing they tryed to stitch the ip on in the end...urgh..

The cyborgs awakening mission is supposed to be done by capturing the nodes so the cyborgs epically stomp the GDI, and in the last one you're supposed to use the BH and vNod factions as well.
Last mission in particular pisses me off cause it's the only mission you get to use MoK and the MoK specific infantry get shredded by anything, and actually the whole missions is best done with fat a Venom blob
you can thank EA's shitty balancing for that, they balanced it for multiplayer and fucked their campaigns in doing so. you have to mod it.
from what I saw even in multiplayer, MoK's infantry is rarely used, Enlightened never
@@tickoman273 yup, they typically use awakened to diasable epic units and nothing more. TBH, oodles of units aren't used in Multiplayer, which makes it boring, since everybody knows a perfect/most optimal strategy for each faction and just spams certain units.

Can someone please explain mission 7? It's so absurdly hard compared to the previous ones. I don't understand. Even after my 6th attempt when I knew where everything was on the map I still lost at the end when I had to do the escort at the end. It's ridiculous.

if you were familiar with series lore you would know the mask is actually a healing device because Kane was in the radious of a massive Ion blast at the end of Tib war 2 and had to hide this fact from people to keep faith

I don't understand, didn't that space station Philadelphia already get shot down in the NOD campaign in the original c&c3? I'm watching on mission 6 right now and they are talking about disrupting the ion cannon and shooting down the Philadelphia, but all that already happened in c&c3, I thought this was an expansion pack, it seems like they are just going back through the NOD campaign again here.

honestly....it shows that the script writing for kanes dialog and personality ..suffered.. under EA :/
why ? simple.... in tiberian sun & firestorm ....his use of religion was far more overt ,so it not harmed his personality cult if he lost ground there , just like back there he his reaction to GDI employing espionage assets to clear the way for leadership that be long term self destructive for the brotherhood... like a grand architect ,he simply acknowledged ther efforts and a couple of times even pitied he not 'could' throw his lot in with them instead.... in tib 3 , or this ? ...he acts much more like generic dull megalomaniac run of the mill cult leader :/ so much lose of..depth..so to speak , and thats not even going into the putrid thing they tryed to stitch the ip on in the end...urgh..
This game is terrible in comparison to Tiberian Dawn and Sun. This has no feel to it at all. Makes me enjoy the TD remaster even more.
