Yup.. the scrins expected humanity to be on the brink of extinction, so the scrin forces we see are only meant for light defense operation against a disorganized opponent... who know what the scrins stil have in store?
@Singularity No, the Scrin force was merely a security detail. Shows what a terrible leader Boyle was first he’s responsible for them coming in the first place and then he provoked them with his hostile response so everything in the game is his fault
At the end where it says “Prepare a full invasion force - Earth WILL fall” gives me the idea that they might. It’d be a pretty good idea to expand upon the Scrin in a new C&C centric to their return.
Oh, I love the Scrin. In this game, you can truly feel their society, consciousness, biology, and scale through the masterpiece cutscenes and voice briefings. This experience allows your imagination to draw a truly cyclopean character of their civilization. If you think about it, the design of the Scrin is similar to that of aliens, with all their biomechanics and spikes. But how can we make them even more terrifying? Well, let's unite them into a galactic empire ruled by greed and sects. "Indigenous species" are nothing more than second-rate fuel for them at best. My most adored aliens ever made.
Thanks for the full lp. It was great, taught me new ways to play that I never thought of. I hope one day you will do the forgotten mod to this game. It is hard, buggy but fairly good.
For the first mission I tried the strategy of rushing across the bridge and it doesn't work. The AI instantly builds a bunch of turrets and shreds my entire force. They didn't seem to do that in your playthrough for some reason.
Yeah, that mastermind is really the most freaking overpowered unit ever, next to another cheesy overpowered anime unit from red alert 3 - Giga fortress.
If only it was still as easy as this, we get 4 scrin missions and you think "Oh cool, I get that OP air that rips through my base out of range of everything, neat" but what you actually get is none of that but constant death from infinite re-building bases that summon infinite troops at you. But hey, at least we got that epic Earth invasion force on the way to make the next command and conquer game epic right? :p
Threshold 19 hard guide - put one devastator to continuously force fire on north bridge, build only storm columns, devastators and tripods, one of the easiest mission on hard if you do it this way
35:55 "ship, we are in SO much trouble when we get back to Ichor hub. But right, I couldn't ask for a better AI. Lets get as many of our miners as we can. Supervisor wants more information on thi ""Kane"", he can go down there himself"
So just a forewarning. The campaign got some "balance changes", so this no longer works. On mission 1 the GDI dumps infinitely replenishing base defense and troops as well as all of their men needing 1/4 to 1/64 the experience yours do to level up. And along with an infinite pool of resources and the fact that you can't use any of Scrin's actually decent troops/defenses it has made their campaign borderline impossible even on Easy. It infuriates me to no end knowing EA had to make an update just to shat on a series they single-handedly dug the grave of. Oh well. Guess I'll find another RTS game to play, there's always Dawn of War and C&C Generals:Zero Hour right?
The way I did it was to just block off the top 2 bridges with the 2 base defences, and just repair them now and then, built up a huge army and attacked moved into bottom base then top base. Did it like that on hard, however it was stupid I Agree. Made sure all my vehicles had buzzers as well for the push. You have to block the bridges off as well or infantry come from behind and kill you with the infinite respawning defences. I have no idea why they went and made the hard campaign as hard as it currently is today. On release this game was surprisingly easy.
Wat... It really isn't that hard, just tedious. Block the upper bridge with 4 buzzer hives and 2 anti vehicle turrets, harvest all the tiberium, build a metric fuckton of mg and tank things plus shitloads of disintegrators, go over bottom bridge and roll over them from there. Just dont go over the top bridge, that is just stupidly annoying.
How the Tiberian series managed to start with Tiberian Dawn, improve what was already perfect with Tiberian Sun, reach new heights with Tiberian War and and die with shitty Tiberian Twilight
Actually I'm having some more serious problem than not being able to pick the right strategy. My hands start shaking when I hear the announcer says "Unit lost" or "Base under attack" lol I'm switching to easy mode.
GDI Commander: "Gotta save blue zones and stop Kane from taking over the world!" Nod Commander: "We will rise against our oppressors to help Kane's ascension!" Foreman 371: "What the fuck is going on down there?"
They should make the scrin kommunikate using alien language and just put english subtitle below to make it more realistik. Aliens speaking in english lol.
I've always known that thanks to tiberium, Humans can actually fight against Scrin. (though this is just a mining force and not their full invasion force.)
imagine if they just like, didnt shoot them out of the sky? like, they would just go about their buisness mining the ichor and making weird noises and shooting anyone that comes near
how come my first mission is much much harder than this on easy mode? when i invade the bottom base the turrets and machine factory pop ups, even after i put my scrin mcv, if i try to camp on the first field the enemy forces are endless and way too much stronger for an easy mode, and even if i create an army to invade the gdi base it get destroyed like nothing
The trick is that you need to block the GDI terrain for building the structures by Scrin units. 9:16 as you can see, the AI built a Guardian Cannon but wasn't able to complete it.
@@hdw It doesn't work. In my game, the buildings pop up a lot faster than in yours, and my units are defeated by the GDI Predators that are guarding the base. It needs heavy microing to succeed in blocking the buildings while trying to keep the units alive, and in the mean time, the GDI builds a shitload of infantery that crush my starting base in one wave.
@@Neocray1 I had the same problem playing on normal. As soon as I crossed the bridge, defenses would pop up and buildings came much faster. Took a couple of tries, but I went straight to the power plants to disable base defenses, then took out the conyard. By then, there were 2 war factories built. Destroyed one, laid down my base, captured the other, placed 5 anti infantry defenses against the incoming waves from the north base. Then took my time gathering resources and building a GDI assault force to mop up the secondary objectives, then a couple of pushes to take down the northern base. Took longer but I got there.
@@ruiromao5726 That's because the game got some balance updates. But here's the thing: IT WAS MEANT FOR MULTIPLAYER! And thanks to that update the campaign balance was destroyed! Some missions were way harder than they should have been. So if you want easily play the campaign without much dificulty you need to run the first version of the game, and since the Steam version doesn't provide you with the 1st version of the game you need to download all kinds of patches from the internet, or you can buy a physical version of the game. THANKS EA!
6:36 yo WTF?! i tried to do this mission ten times today! on hard, and as i move my units there, they start placing turrets! that kill my units! i had to try really hard to macro my units with mother ship, they destroyed me like 10 ten times.
I experienced the same. Even on easy difficulty the AI just produces buildings and units as if they had unlimited resources. By the end I had around 466 kills and 84 losses. It's a bit outrageous to think about, when looking at how peaceful the hard enemy is in this video, don't you think?
@@tavish1658 i do think! so how he did it?! the patch he plays on is 1.9 same as mine... so what gives? anyway i only played GDI and NOD didn't bother with this useless campaign. on channel check it you want?
anyone else notice that first mission must be fake or something because the enemy bases don't try and build anything at all but I play on easy and I can't even get to the first base before they have cannons up all over and production structers
I blocked the GDI terrain for building the structures by Scrin units. 9:16 as you can see, the AI built a Guardian Cannon but wasn't able to complete it.
SO THAAAAAATS HOW YOU DO THE FIRST MISSION I was playing on easy and was getting fuckin stomped deployed the drone ship where you arrived and thought yea that's fine
If view this game as a "soft-reboot" rather than a sequel, then it did fairly good. However still there are so many screw-ups and inconsistencies, and by such reason, Tiberium Essence is always way superior.
you see, when old Blizzard revealed secret race late in their campaign it was full blown awesome campaign. EA was always pathetic company that made interesting but shallow games.

Always wondered what "Overlord" looked like in real life.

I really miss these type of games...i wished there was more
Thanks for the full lp.
The mastermind is the key to winning this mission in minutes thanks👍👍👍👍
You’re welcome!
Yeah, that mastermind is really the most freaking overpowered unit ever, next to another cheesy overpowered anime unit from red alert 3 - Giga fortress.
Capturing their base was a nice bonus!
Though not putting your units in control groups was frustrating to watch xD
como obtienes la campaña o la descargas la campaña?
If only it was still as easy as this, we get 4 scrin missions and you think "Oh cool, I get that OP air that rips through my base out of range of everything, neat" but what you actually get is none of that but constant death from infinite re-building bases that summon infinite troops at you. But hey, at least we got that epic Earth invasion force on the way to make the next command and conquer game epic right? :p
For a civilian force. The Scrin are pretty tough. Since GDI needed a moral boost to get their forces motivated to fight
LMAO that poor harvester that got accidentally teleported @ 26:40 and later got shredded by the base defenses RIP
Is not accidentally. This way turrets will focus on harvester
And we never saw or heard from the scrin again
Thamks EA ☺️
There was gonna be a FPS spin-off with the Scrin as the main enemies in the game.
i am still waiting for the next installment of this game where the scrin finally arrives with a full invasion force
that wouldn't happen, it's an instant win.
Big brain when you capture instead of destroy
You sneaky SOB :) . You moved the drone platform to the right to have access to more Tiberium. Smart move!!!
Threshold 19 hard guide - put one devastator to continuously force fire on north bridge, build only storm columns, devastators and tripods, one of the easiest mission on hard if you do it this way
I wish so hard ea didn't own c&c
Man this is the first cnc game I've played still my favorite
scrin campaign summary: have an alien supervisor shout back at you for recommending mission abort
my empire will rise
We at your command all hale overlord
43:37 truly fantastic timing.
mission 3
harvester who got teleported by accident : "wth?, why you teleport me here"
35:55 "ship, we are in SO much trouble when we get back to Ichor hub. But right, I couldn't ask for a better AI. Lets get as many of our miners as we can. Supervisor wants more information on thi ""Kane"", he can go down there himself"
"The day will dawn the future..."
-Deployment appears premature!-
"...is *ours* "
TW is way downhill from TS
@@theMagos I really like TW Kane's Wrath, I like the third faction and the subfactions and especially that world conquest game mode!
You made it look easy. I tried to do what you did and got a bunch of angry soldiers smashing my base instead.
Did you mean the first mission? Try to establish the base near the north tiberium field and build dozens of Disintegrators and Gun Walkers.
Actually I'm having some more serious problem than not being able to pick the right strategy. My hands start shaking when I hear the announcer says "Unit lost" or "Base under attack" lol
I'm switching to easy mode.
@@macrotransaction2383 oh that’s reason why you got angry soldiers smashing your base
It's a pity Nod don't show up in the last mission of this campaign to help you...until they turn on you once GDI are out of way.
GDI Commander: "Gotta save blue zones and stop Kane from taking over the world!"
Nod Commander: "We will rise against our oppressors to help Kane's ascension!"
Foreman 371: "What the fuck is going on down there?"
Scrin are the martians from the war of the worlds.they even hit London first
They should make the scrin kommunikate using alien language and just put english subtitle below to make it more realistik. Aliens speaking in english lol.
1st, its only 4 mission campaign,
2nd, if CABAL faction exist, what language they ll use? mnemonic ?
There's that "assimilating language" thing in the 1st cutscene, maybe they learned english easily then spoke it after? Lol
Wait... There's a Scrin campaign ?!?! 😱
Why so surprised? 😃
@@hdw I'm joking 😁 , but it was too short and didn't repeat in Kane's wrath if i remember right...
@@hdw me suscribo, pero pasame la camñana por favor desde españa.
You can only get it if u complete the gdi campaign and the nod campaign and then the scrin campaign will unlock it workt for me
Love it.
i tried the same tactic as you at mission 1 but GDI build towers and war factories at my goddamn base its so annoying
Communication uplink successfully achieved
I've always known that thanks to tiberium, Humans can actually fight against Scrin. (though this is just a mining force and not their full invasion force.)
imagine if they just like, didnt shoot them out of the sky?
like, they would just go about their buisness mining the ichor and making weird noises and shooting anyone that comes near
Cool games ❗💻🖥️🕹️🎮😁👍
how come my first mission is much much harder than this on easy mode? when i invade the bottom base the turrets and machine factory pop ups, even after i put my scrin mcv, if i try to camp on the first field the enemy forces are endless and way too much stronger for an easy mode, and even if i create an army to invade the gdi base it get destroyed like nothing
THANKS EA!
Campaign mastermind so broken.
Well,it went full RA3 mode XD
Administration hero
do the obelisks and shredder turrets just rip your engineers whenever you teleport them?
The Scrin Mothership is the most op unit in the game
So are the Scrin all insect like creatures? Don't they have units piloting vehicles? Are those units humanoid in any way?
@@tavish1658 Same here. I tried several starting positions, but I end up crushed whatever I do.
But this is what electricity produces.
In Scrin campaign, they (I think EVA) no speaking about Scrin units. Why?
I cant find a scrin campaign pls help
You must complete the GDI and Nod campaigns to unlock Scrin.
anyone else notice that first mission must be fake or something because the enemy bases don't try and build anything at all but I play on easy and I can't even get to the first base before they have cannons up all over and production structers
I blocked the GDI terrain for building the structures by Scrin units. 9:16 as you can see, the AI built a Guardian Cannon but wasn't able to complete it.
I see now that's cool I didn't know you could do that

If view this game as a "soft-reboot" rather than a sequel, then it did fairly good. However still there are so many screw-ups and inconsistencies, and by such reason, Tiberium Essence is always way superior.
