I'm all for supporting those who need mental help, but I will never support a person who uses their condition to justify doing terrible things.

in the west , in very circles of power , the real chiefs are completely psychopaths and ruthless , that's why they don't want to solve the problem , only make it " stagnant " for making more and more money ..

I can 100% relate to story 1. hearing about ads, social network post, people on soap boxes about reaching out for help with mintal health & then being dismissed when you do public searvices that are at beazt a compleat joke & at worst unaccessable. colleges promoting it but the services are a nightmaire. Been there.
I've heard that better help is a bit of a scam, not sure if its actually true since I've never really needed a therapist for anything but ya never know.
@@Aloyus_Knight I've heard the same. For some reason online counciling for ADHD isnt avaliable in my state & I checked all the sites that do that.
Story 5 hits hard for me. I was a single father to 2 girls. I can't tell you how hard that was or how angry I would get sometimes with daycare and especially with medical. At least 2 or 3 times a year, nurses or daycare receptionist would ignore my instructions that showed I was first call for everything. One nurse told me, o we just don't look at that, and call the mom.

I'm nearing 9 years since I was first told I was put on the waiting list for therapy. Haven't seen the inside of an office yet. I got omega 3's for anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia from paranoia ("it's been shown to be good for the brain"). I've been in for chest pains that they said were just from panic attacks, and "they'll make sure I'm still on the list". Only got one call to make sure I was still alive and didn't plan on changing that because I was viewed as someone who could wait (I had enough self-awareness to know that that wasn't good, no matter what my brain said). I was lucky for my personality, though, I like trying to figure things out. People usually do this for this reason, animals do this.... why do I do this? A lot of people view things differently if it's someone else, why can't I think like that about myself instead of being stuck like this? It's simplifying the last 9 years I've been through, lost a lot of friends, but I got myself to a manageable point on my own, and I'm still getting a little better each day. Hospital in my town sucks, the full extent is a massive can of worms, but when the hospital itself isn't helping you with your mental health problems but saying they will, you know most of it's just for trying to look good.

My dad made me mad one time because he was telling me it’s totally normal for men to have more than one sex partner in his life but god forbid a woman sleeps with more than one guy in her life. Like wow, just because a woman decides to sleep with more than one guy, that doesn’t mean anything. I was always safe and got tested every time I got a new boyfriend. How about stop telling guys it’s ok to get some tail but judging women if they aren’t pure as the Virgin Mary. Makes me hate some guys who think that in life. Definitely telling my future son if I have one that he doesn’t get to judge a woman for being with more than one person but she should get over it if he’s been with more than one person
Story 4: My Eldest's office offered her work employment pool three shifts when COVID-19 hit and were happy that folks were willing to do the third shift or the early first shift. Even after everything settled down, the admin decided to allow workers to choose what shift they wanted to do, provided that they get their work done. My Eldest and her friends there love it and no one gives the night owls any grief about it. Of course, these folks are computer programmers (even the bosses, I believe) so they probably understand.
Hell the mental health thing is the same in the military. They’ve more recently started trying to solve the problems because of the suicide rates and it doesn’t always go as planned. I got diagnosed with anxiety disorder in A school with the navy and they gave me meds that didn’t work for me but could do nothing else

The age double standard is because of basic biology. Alot of what drives views of attractiveness has to do with reproduction.
A older man can get a younger woman pregnant, but biology shuts down typically a older woman from getting pregnant.
The reason this gets exasperated is men aren't looking at other men as a reproductive partner and women tend to be highly judgemental of other women.
Men acting like that at sporting events is not “acceptable,” hence the reason they are arrested for that behavior. LoL

5:26 is 100% right tho. Women do age like milk compared to men. When me and my friends with their husbands all look at old photos we look beautiful why the boys kinda look dorky. But now at 45. All of my friends husbands and especially mine are all handsome men. And we are looking like grandmas 😭

This also has an inverse effect. Early in life women get all the cards, they are young, often beautiful and hold all the cards for a relationship of any kind. On the flipside both can age well or poorly, as well as make it financially or not, but generally men get STABLE Financially and that is what people will look for later in life

i do take issue with the telemarketing thing bc you can be poor but if you take a job that involves borderline harassment of people and you experience negativities because of that, that's a you problem

Double standard for women: raging nerd who loves comics well into her 50s but also loves sports and reads econ books for fun. This is where one has no friends because guys don't want to shop for makeup and girls don't care about Mises
I think the only double standards here that aren't really double standards, are the aging example and taylor swift example. The aging isn't a double standard as a lot of women don't genuinely age well between plastic surgery and the tons of products they use on their bodies. Compared to men who use far less plastic surgery and products on their bodies, hence why they usually look much younger. I mean the most common plastic surgery for men is like booty lifts, while all three of my aunts have had nearly all the different plastic surgeries yet they aged worse than my mother who never used plastic surgery and is the youngest sister. The Taylor swift example is equally flawed, cause Taylor Swift fans are often made up of die hards who won't criticize her, while most football lovers will actively criticize football companies. In short, one group of fans are willing to criticize the things they like, compared to the other where they're more like blind devotees.
