    I learned when you're under stress your body produces adrenaline in a fight or flight
    response, this can happen in simple cases when your nervous to give a speech. A good way
    to fight this is to walk around a little bit while you're presenting, this gives an outlet
    for you to calm down a little. You could even shake your hands a couple of times beforehand
    to calm yourself down and tell your body everything is fine.

      Yes, but do find a balance to make sure you’re not walking around so much that it distracts your audience from you and your content! 😀

      Sil Bombardi putting a gentle smile on your face is a way to project confidence. Of course there’s no point in keeping that smile from beginning to the end of your presentation. Appropriate variation in your facial expression will keep your audience engaged en create more impact.

    the content is just 7% !!!! it is just funny , sorry, but surly it is not correct, body language important but maybe not more than 5%, of course the content and the way of explanation like ask question or tell a story is the most important thing....

    • @ExpertEnglish
      @ExpertEnglish  3 роки тому +2

      Of course the content is important, but we are talking about the IMPACT you have on the audience and then your voice and body language will make all the difference.

    • @allbusinessbasics
      @allbusinessbasics 10 місяців тому

      I’ve actually read research that says up to 93% of communication is non-verbal! I doubt it’s that high, but apparently it’s pretty important! 😀

    ''Body language is much more powerful than the words you speak....'' What a load of nonsense!

    • @flukeryu5448
      @flukeryu5448 5 років тому

      In my opinion I give it equal between body and voice because sometime you can attract people who are not focusing on you by making very attractive sound but body language cannot do that.

    • @allbusinessbasics
      @allbusinessbasics 9 місяців тому

      I’m don’t think that’s what she’s saying here. I think she’s emphasizing the importance of body language that can often be overlooked. Of course the content you deliver is more important than your body language, but don’t forget about it either! 😀👍
