I'd always have an anxiety attack every time it's my turn to speak at the front
Wish me luck🥺

Uff
I learned when you're under stress your body produces adrenaline in a fight or flight
response, this can happen in simple cases when your nervous to give a speech. A good way
to fight this is to walk around a little bit while you're presenting, this gives an outlet
for you to calm down a little. You could even shake your hands a couple of times beforehand
to calm yourself down and tell your body everything is fine.
Yes, I bet you watched this video: ua-cam.com/video/So3Z93hEPDk/v-deo.html
Yes, but do find a balance to make sure you’re not walking around so much that it distracts your audience from you and your content! 😀
Even after 9 long years this video is still very helpful, one of the best available. Thank you ma'am
My pleasure 😊
Hello professor

I jst realized I've always worked only on that 7%. Now i know why teachers don't give much attention to the project that i put so much work on. Thank you so much.

HCR 34 Thanks! Hope it was helpful for you
Isn't a strange coincidence that you are wearing the same color clothes as shown in graph? Amazing content and very well presented. Learnt a lot from you.
You have a sharp eye and clearly a strong analytical mind. Am I right?
@@ExpertEnglish Wow! Thats so sweet of you. Thank you for the compliment but I don't think so, I was just paying close attention to the points i video.
@@ExpertEnglishWas that by design?? I didn’t even notice. Definitely a sharp eye. 😀
You are my passion to become a presenter. Yahhh. thanks for you advices.
Happy to hear that! Wishing you all the best!
Have you become a presenter over the last three years?? If so, how is it going? 😀
Checking in to see if this decade-old video is still relevant, and it seems like it! I do always appreciate mentioning to stay loose and natural with your body movements. I see a lot of presenters follows these tips to the extreme, and it looks super awkward. 😬 Thanks for the great video!
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks
Thanks you really helped me because today is my presentation in front all school
Thanks 🥰🥰😘😍
Good luck!!
How did it go?? 😀
Excellent Video. Very useful tips.
Glad it was helpful!
Interesting presentation! However a wider angle would have been more interesting. That way the audience would understand what exactly you are talking about...
Our studio is too small for a wide angle, but we experimented with different camera angles in this video that you might find helpful: ua-cam.com/video/8b837HSIWVw/v-deo.html
Tomorrow I'm giving my first speech as a school captain 🤧
We're past that bt Good luck mate!😊
I'm also I'm so nervous
Someone said my stance was bad so i guess this will help
Feedback from others can be very valuable, but take all advice with a grain of salt! Just focus on being natural and authentic, and you’ll do great! 👍😀
Thanks karen!

Albert Mehrabian would not approve of anyone citing those percentages on verbal, para verbal and non verbal communication without adding the scope of his study (which produced them).
Open to debate on this
thankyouu

Smile, while giving a speech about 9/11. Come on.
Sil Bombardi putting a gentle smile on your face is a way to project confidence. Of course there’s no point in keeping that smile from beginning to the end of your presentation. Appropriate variation in your facial expression will keep your audience engaged en create more impact.
its not that helpfulfor online pre
Boohooe
Expert Academy but thx tough
the content is just 7% !!!! it is just funny , sorry, but surly it is not correct, body language important but maybe not more than 5%, of course the content and the way of explanation like ask question or tell a story is the most important thing....
Of course the content is important, but we are talking about the IMPACT you have on the audience and then your voice and body language will make all the difference.
I’ve actually read research that says up to 93% of communication is non-verbal! I doubt it’s that high, but apparently it’s pretty important! 😀
''Body language is much more powerful than the words you speak....'' What a load of nonsense!
In my opinion I give it equal between body and voice because sometime you can attract people who are not focusing on you by making very attractive sound but body language cannot do that.
I’m don’t think that’s what she’s saying here. I think she’s emphasizing the importance of body language that can often be overlooked. Of course the content you deliver is more important than your body language, but don’t forget about it either! 😀👍
