Ever since you made that video where you were playing on legion’s folly and mentioned that you wanted to make your hunter as small and dark as possible, I have never gone into crucible wearing anything bright. Just a small thing and that I thought I would say after seeing your hunter in the thumbnail. If there’s some random fact I’ll remember till I die, it will be this.
i mean its kinda like commen sense not to were big bright colours and huge armour .no idea why any one would go into pve wanting to be noticed . like 90 of pvp mains will be women charecters just for the slight difference in size
@@vNill I routinely hit 500/500. I can go through at any time and clear out duplicate exotic armor and stuff that I’ve just thrown in there, thinking I may need a specific roll at some point. But yeah there are a few sunset weapons I can’t delete, for whatever reason. It adds up to. MAYBE 40 weapons, total. They will just never get deleted. I can and do use them on patrol and in lower level activities all the time.
Cammy this is the content. I actually go back through your stuff too watch these kinds of vids. They really bring to light the nuance of certain weapons and abilities ultimately causing the realization that stompie hunters are boring and pompous. Truly a poetic finish on that last game. Imma pick the lion back up cause I used to have so much fun with it trolling meta crutches. I feel better running Kclip on multimach with threat and max range. Learn so many things from watching your vids, I.e. dragon shadow adding 5 tiers to mobility off the dodge like that, never knew that but now I can spec out my stats differently when I use it. Also the other big one is just how much fun it is to run Gemini’s, didn’t really have a go to pvp exotic before but I love running those now
I'm still upset that because I already had a kill clip Crimil's I didn't grind for another one the last season it wasn't sunset so now even though the rolls didn't change mine is stuck at 1100.

Hey cammy.. I have been messing around with a hunter bombardiers build inspired by you with trying to be inventive in the game.. Been doing a top tree Goldie build to basically create snares with my scatter grenades, throwing knife plus the bombardiers perk.. was wondering what would be in your brain for a build as such being that the build is basically to bait aggressive plays with using said traps. Weapon combos etc? (Not as important) Mods Armor Stats Just is a offensive/defensive unique build that I never see being used.
I don't have the old elemental capacitor roll but I've got a surplus/celerity roll and I've actually preferred it over my surplus/opening shot roll. It has 67 base handling due to a handling mw so even assuming I don't have ANY abilities it still feels solid. And I'm not locked to an arc subclass either so I like that.
I want them to bring black armor weapons back.. but seeing the route they took with the moon weapons… it won’t be the same… kill clip rampage no drop mag… sigh 😔
they mentioned that the original plan for bringing back sunset weapons was to remove the original perk pool entirely, but in a twab they mentioned that they didnt realize some of the perks were vital to the weapons identity, so if we were to see black armory weapons return, theyd remove a few underused perks and add in new ones, while keeping most of the original.
What would be better imo is just to literally unsunset everything and throw it into loot pools like crucible gambit and strikes and world. Like spare rations in gambit loot pool for example. That way there is a ton of guns to use and get and grind for.
Hey Cammy, I have a genuine question. I have been trying for the past few months to improve my skill with Ace, but I still feel like I suck with it. Playing on console the recoil is awful, but I feel like if I keep using it I will eventually get good with it. Do you have any tips for helping me improve? (I am an average player, warlock/hunter main.)
I highly recommend the Xbox series s or x as well as a pc for getting better in crucible. Ever since I got 60 FPS and better fov I have enjoyed the game so much more.

I'm gonna be honest, after watching a video you did a while back where you spoke on how to actually play rumble (this wasn't the focus of the video I *think*, but basically spawn farming) the whole game mode has given me somewhat of a sour taste in my mouth. And Rumble is my main way of practicing and getting better at D2 pvp. Do you think rumble as it is now is perfect? As in Bungie could not make any meaningful improvements to make the game mode better? Or if not, what do you think could be done to imrpove it? I know I'm kinda asking you to play armchair developer, and I know at the end of the day the game is the game, and I either play it the way it needs to be played or lose 🤷🏾♂️ but I don't like this iteration of Rumble anymore, now that I realize this is how you actually win. (Granted I don't play all that much these days anyway, but I love watching your content. You and a handful of other content creators are the reason I enjoy this game.) I still enjoy playing D2 pvp, and making and mastering builds, and whenever I hop on I'll do that. But this has become another one of those small gripes I have with this game. I'm not cammy but I think it's hard to expect that any UA-camr sees your comment and also answer, although I hope he answers I'm gonna give you mi opinion, I think the gamemode itself it's flawed, you can see it since cod4 how some people could predict so perfect the spawns that you couldn't leave the respawn screen in 1v1s, also in destiny 1v1s there's is just like 2 different spawns, a somewhat way to solve the problem is to add more spawns or change the way spawns work, because they are really easy to manipulate, also map design is part of the problem, because although the game has changed of pace a lot in all the time it has been up the maps are the same as they were when it's was a 4 v 4 slow ttk game, so adding new maps it's also a solution but we already know we will be getting just 1 new map in the near future
Rumble is, and has been for ages, two good players spawn farming about 80% of the matches. The odds of getting a lobby where all players are on a level playing field, or there are maybe 3 or 4 players dicing for top spot and you get in lots of 1v1v1v1 gunfights or whatever, are slim to none. This will not change unless they edit maps to add more spawns so they're not as stupidly predictable (they won't) or put new maps in with more potential spawn areas (almost 3 years now since they have added a new map)
@@169FLOZ @ISens I agree with both of you. I've had similar thoughts. All the maps for rumble feel way too claustrophobic. There is not enough breathing room for 6 or more people. At first it just felt like a silly design flaw from Destiny 2 year 1 map philosophy that was never addressed, and on some level it is. But it's now become something to be used to your advantage to win, or your downfall in how you lose. I dislike this most about the mode, And I think that's another reason battle royale works so well. There are only maybe 3 or so maps in a typical game but they are huge, so huge and diverse one side of the map and the other feel like 2 different pvp maps. And rumble tbh is basically small scall battle royale. So to me if it was treated more like that the game would improve as well as giving more bigger maps.
So I play a damn good bit on all 3 characters and upon thousands of hours, can confirm: this is the best Exotic for PvP. The reason why is because it opens your load out for a multitude of weapons. None of your weapons need QuickDraw, it gives you +50 to your mobility while activated so you can focus your build towards other stats, and you don’t really need loader mods because if its perk. I feel like my loadouts are limited on Titan and warlock but when I use hunter, every weapon has maxed out handling. My favorite combo lately has been fatebringer with duality. Oh and I forgot to mention: always run gambler’s dodge with dragon’s shadow which makes top tree nightstalker a fun kit to play with.

Cam, can you make a video on why people hate scout rifles? It's weird to me how people praise Scathelocke because it inherently has 20 zoom and good range, but then forget about Jade rabbit which also has 20 Zoom and range big enough to cover most maps. People loved the aggressive burst pulses because of the massive range, but most of them had long-range sights bringing the zoom to 24, then people refusing to play Hung Jury which inherently has 22 zoom and can get 0,67s 3 taps with Box Breathing.
Because scouts have really bad aim assist, flinch and handling making them extremely clunky to use, and if you hit body shots the ttk skyrockets. The only 2 scouts that people use are Mida (because of 100 aim assist +Lightweight bonus) and Dead Mans Tale for obvious reasons.
I'd love see a game mode where each week they disable one special type and one primary type of weapon. No pulses and shotguns one week, then no hand cannons and snipers the next, etc
I would be down with that, I had a couple ideas that were similar also. Like a gun game type every kill it rotates your primary. I actually do that some times when warming up or when bored and see how many I can go through
I use two utility kickstarter mods with 80 mobility and basically 100% uptime as long as you do not die. Its personally my favorite build because i don’t have to reload or worry about handling on any weapon.
I still have a fastdraw, accurized rounds, outlaw, opening shot with range masterwork Crimil’s Dagger that I need to use again… love your vids bro, they inspire me to try and use other stuff when playing pvp 😁👍

Dragon's Shadow is sooooo underrated

Make sure you FOV is high enough that the recoil won’t block the majority of your screen during engagements.

I still have my old Dragons shadow with Enchanced unflinching sniper, and a good old paragon mod slotted. was a massive win to get back in the day

Dragons Shadow with militia birthright and fighting lion got me mountaintop quick. Ever since then, Dragons Shadow and FL never left my inventory.

I use two utility kickstarter mods with 80 mobility and basically 100% uptime as long as you do not die. Its personally my favorite build because i don’t have to reload or worry about handling on any weapon.
I still have a fastdraw, accurized rounds, outlaw, opening shot with range masterwork Crimil’s Dagger that I need to use again… love your vids bro, they inspire me to try and use other stuff when playing pvp 😁👍

The six shot magazine on the dagger has me mind blown. Remember when sunshot was only 6 in the mag?
