DIM seems very glitchy on armor, promising 10s then delivering 9s or 8s (even with everything maxed). I don't love d2a due to the interface but I think this two phase filtering he's showing is great! Best of both worlds ftw.
The way I do it, to keep it simple, is to add up the 3 stats I want in my head and keep the armor with the highest number. so half this video can be done a better way then what marshix is providing. getting the armor his way is the best way from seasonal activities and thier engrams. make the loadouts can also be done in dim and loadout can be saved then. for cleaning out your vault there is also a easier way to do this and thats by going to destiny recipes. this site does everything automatically for you. they look at everything and you can just toggle to keep all in loadout. destiny recipe also will allow you to save certain stat groups. for example you say you want to say save any armor peice that has 33 top and 30 bottom it will do it for you.
I love these videos, this is the second I've came across and saved. But both video never go into detail on what mod to put on your ghost to boost your i.e. mobility and recovery stats. I have discipline on my ghost due to resilience for higher PvE stuff.. But I would like to make a triple 100s build or close to it for PvP but don't know what mod to throw on my ghost to get the right stat layout.
I'm having bad luck as well. Just need to get a few good pieces for my chest. I had good legs and gloves from a while back but I need more discipline on my chest and helm. I think that's why you still should use a discipline mod and hope for the best
@@turbo111777 I get great discipline and really good resilience drops all the time with the discipline mod on my ghost. But the distribution toward recov and mobility is always trash.

Just asking for experience, did you have discipline as your ghost mod and went to the helm and spun random on the armor for your height stats? Sorry for asking I’m still new to the system and wanted to know more
@@chrisbautista4023I'm not OP but that's what I did (I'm a warlock main and want resilience, recovery, and discipline for most of my builds). It still takes time to get a set of great pieces, but it works. You can also focus specific armor pieces (boots, for example) if you have good rolls on everything else. It'll just use more engrams than random but might be appropriate in your case.
@@chrisbautista4023 yes, Defo use ghost to get spikes in the lower category you want. Then ya, basically keep using engrams till you get above 20 in 2 and 10+ in one. 20-20-10 will be 22-22-12 when masterworked then mod will give it +10 so can be 22-22-22. It might take 99 engrams to get 1 good piece sometimes, lots of glimmer too. Especially hard on Hunter as you want spikes in Mobility as your top priority.
About those 70 max.. got a 71 Alpha Lupi without any mods, not kidding 🤷🏼♂️ I'm definate about it bc i was shocked by the stats, checked if there were mods on, not the case, legit 71er ☝🏼🧐
I thought that you would put stat mod on what is best in each of the classes ability like : Titan- resilience Hunter- mobility, and Warlock- intellect.
If you were going based on class warlocks would be recovery. But people use the discipline ghost mod to focus the other two stats into resilience and recover or Res and Mob. Warlocks want resilience and Recovery for Damage reduction and rift recharge rate. Hunter would focus on Mobility and Resilience for dodge recharge and damage reduction although some might want recovery as well for the health regen. Titans would focus on Resilience and Recovery for shield recharge rate/damage reduction and health regen rate. If your a Titan and your good at surviving with low recovery then you could use a resilience armorer mod to maybe get discipline and Strength spikes instead. All of that still shows the best ghost mod to use is the discipline mod. In most scenarios anyway. It all depends on what you want your three 100’s to be on. Let’s not even start talking about all the stat changes that come from subclass fragments 🤦♂️ There are a lot of options. And getting the right armor set up for triple 100’s is frustrating that’s for sure. The only class I have triple 100’s on is my stasis Titan thanks to the very generous stat boosts from the fragments on stasis.
Do I need nightfall to unlock the war table. I looked but I’m not seating the quest or anything. I don’t have light fall return player that was new but approaching intermediate level.

@@Chaosify4217 only year 1 exotics and it's EXTREMELY rare. Most players have never seen one. It's also not 'to balance out getting 68 on artifice armor' since that didn't exist in year 1, it was added in 30th Anniversary.
When phrasing the amount of stats you get from masterworking armor you mention 12 additional stats for each armor piece but the real value is from masterworking an entire set for +10 in each stat. Just thought phrasing it this way would sound more impactful.
@@Hawluk6"masterworking an entire set". So that would be 12 * 5 (helmet, gauntlet, chest, legs and class item) which equals to 60. Divided by 6 for every stat: equals to +10 on every stat.
Two different ways of looking at it, both legitimate. I personally have mostly thought of it the same way as Marshix... mostly because I didn't have resources to masterwork exotics for a long time and still have only done so with a few pieces.
I think I got a 69 stat legendary from xur once, haven't played ij a while but I think I kept it because of the whole "69" thing. Mightve been exotic but I'm pretty sure it was an oddly rolled legend
How do i get the items from the helm vendor cuz i checked at the war table and found nothing plus with riven in ritual table i tried to take the staff and it said i need to buy the pass so im kinda clueless
Good video but you neglected to mention that you can't decrypt these engrams for the previous seasons without purchasing the annual pass (unless you previously bought season passes) and the year is almost over...
Slower, but you can just move pieces into your vault that are obviously good (spikey in the correct places - very flat distributions are generally bad) and dismantle the rest manually. Sure, you might mess up and dismantle a decent piece or two while figuring it out, but better than doing nothing.
That was with some external factor (stat mods, artifice mods, masterwork, etc). 68 is the highest on normal legendary armor at base, 70 is the highest for exotics at base (with a few exceptions on old exotics). If for some reason that isn't the case for you, send me screenshots on Discord and I would love to check it out.
Warlock - universally Discipline, Recovery and Resilience. Can switch out discipline for strength but generally always better to run grenade regen, even on stasis due to bleak watcher. Titan is pretty much same, although sometimes you want strength for melee specific builds. Hunter is different, you don't need recovery. Hunters benefit more from mobility, so you want mobility, resilience and discipline. Sometimes depending on the build you want a bit more intellect (for golden gun). The golden rule is typically. Intellect is good, but builds that rely on it need to revolve around a kit that gives super.
so I can click on all 6 100's and nothing pops up on the right. I click on triple 100 and it shows nothing. I used 100 of each of the engrams from the 4 vendors and it literally shows me nothing, but I can click on the numbers, nothing is greyed out. You can't tell me my luck is this bad? Like nothing makes a x3 100?

so half this video can be done a better way then what marshix is providing. getting the armor his way is the best way from seasonal activities and thier engrams. make the loadouts can also be done in dim and loadout can be saved then. for cleaning out your vault there is also a easier way to do this and thats by going to destiny recipes. this site does everything automatically for you. they look at everything and you can just toggle to keep all in loadout. destiny recipe also will allow you to save certain stat groups. for example you say you want to say save any armor peice that has 33 top and 30 bottom it will do it for you.
Which activity is giving the best stat Artifice armor?
I'm a player from Destiny 1. Came back to having to pay damn near $50 a pop for expansions, in hopes of getting better gear. Haven't paid for one yet 😂
I have an exotic armor @ 91 & it’s got all the stats I want at high #’s so I think imma always use it 😂
At one point should I do this? Soft cap, pinnacle?
You are like a Destiney God😁.For someone new to the game this is great!
WOW great video but ! one question if my build with no mods is already at 100 resilience what good would a mod that gives me more do?
Nothing because anything exceeding 100 doesn’t give you any additional benefits
@@Porchungi OK great thanks

You can also get artifice armor from competitive in crucible and its pretty easy. Easier than a master dungeon for sure.
Artifice drops from crucible?
@@turbo111777 yup! You gotta keep playing the competitive playlist, once you pass the Ascendant Alloys reward, you'll then be able to earn artifice armor, but beware, based on your rank youll have a higher or lower chance to get it, and a minimum of gold rank to start being able to earn the artifice armor.
@@StockRLtoo bad all the brand new lvl 7 players are gods
@@jatochgaatjeniksaan3307 Just gotta get grinding and get better than them! 💪🤜
I haven't gotten armor from prime engrave except for the class item.. it's been so long since I have
Every time I get 99 engrams I pick a character and head to the helm to roll the dice on high stat focused armor.
I’m pretty close to having all the armor for all my builds…Vault space is a problem😅
Does only having one artifact give you more engrams for that vendor?
Actually, some exotics appear to even drop with 71 base stat. I do have one Aeon Swift for my Hunter with 71 ;)
About those 70 max.. got a 71 Alpha Lupi without any mods, not kidding 🤷🏼♂️
I'm definate about it bc i was shocked by the stats, checked if there were mods on, not the case, legit 71er ☝🏼🧐
The max for exotics is 71. But very rare.
Exotic can actually get 71 as the highest stat before any upgrades or mods. I have 2 hunter armor peices with 71. Ends up being 91 total after perks.
Haven't I seen this video about 20 times now?
Is this guide still valid right now? Really having a hard time finding gear above 60 stat
Just checked on reddit it was only for last season
If you have 100 stats and you put on the armor buffs. Do stats go over 100 and count?
spam coil and get 140k points and you'll get so many wish engrams
How do I unlock coil ? I only see rivns lair and thats what I was grinding
Let’s not even start talking about all the stat changes that come from subclass fragments 🤦♂️
There are a lot of options. And getting the right armor set up for triple 100’s is frustrating that’s for sure. The only class I have triple 100’s on is my stasis Titan thanks to the very generous stat boosts from the fragments on stasis.
Do you have to have all 4 of those upgrades? Or like in season 23 do i only need the riven upgrade?
1 upgrade per vendor (war table, sonar station, ritual table, Riven)
Do I need nightfall to unlock the war table. I looked but I’m not seating the quest or anything. I don’t have light fall return player that was new but approaching intermediate level.
are 65 armor pieces worth masterworking? Cant seem to get any 68s
Got a Mantle of battle harmony with 50 maxed intellect after masterwork and +10 intellect mod on it
Im not getting any wish engrams from activities. I don't have the other dlcs so I can understand those, but I have the DLC for riven and still not getting any
you can get artifice armor from comp now iirc
😂😂😂I laughed so hard when he said "I do stuff"
the highest possible stat total on an exotic is 71 to balance out getting a 68 stat total piece of artifice armor
70, and not all exotics can get that. Everything else is 68, but artifice can add 3.
@@Michael-ee4uz no the highest stat total for an exotic is in fact 71 it is just extremely rare
@@Chaosify4217 Just to chime in, it depends. Some of the older armor can get 71 based on how it's coded, but it's only on the older pieces.
@@Chaosify4217 only year 1 exotics and it's EXTREMELY rare. Most players have never seen one. It's also not 'to balance out getting 68 on artifice armor' since that didn't exist in year 1, it was added in 30th Anniversary.
so essentially, you would have to masterwork everything you get? im struggling with this part. what's worth masterworking?
When phrasing the amount of stats you get from masterworking armor you mention 12 additional stats for each armor piece but the real value is from masterworking an entire set for +10 in each stat. Just thought phrasing it this way would sound more impactful.
Its +2 per stat when you fully masterwork. +2 x 6 = 12..
So, if I don't get wrong, the three stats to improve are:
Warlock: Resilience, Recovery, Discipline.
But for Hunter and Titan??
Thanks a lot!!
Whats the music in the backround?
exotic armor can RARELY drop as high as 72 as high as ive seen and heard some get 73

Good video but you neglected to mention that you can't decrypt these engrams for the previous seasons without purchasing the annual pass (unless you previously bought season passes) and the year is almost over...
Man I wish I had the vault space 😩
Slower, but you can just move pieces into your vault that are obviously good (spikey in the correct places - very flat distributions are generally bad) and dismantle the rest manually.
Sure, you might mess up and dismantle a decent piece or two while figuring it out, but better than doing nothing.
When you use font of XYZ to get over 100 of a stat, does it still have an effect?
No if doesn’t so if your planning to use those try to stay as close to 70 as possible on the stats you plan to boost with font mods.
@@vezzongaming2230 okay 😄
Just a quick “JUST FYI” the highest stats iv seen on legendary armor piece is as high as 76
That was with some external factor (stat mods, artifice mods, masterwork, etc). 68 is the highest on normal legendary armor at base, 70 is the highest for exotics at base (with a few exceptions on old exotics). If for some reason that isn't the case for you, send me screenshots on Discord and I would love to check it out.
can anyone help me with my d2armorpicker it is not letting me log in for the first time
What are best 3 stats for each class?
Warlock - universally Discipline, Recovery and Resilience. Can switch out discipline for strength but generally always better to run grenade regen, even on stasis due to bleak watcher.
Titan is pretty much same, although sometimes you want strength for melee specific builds.
Hunter is different, you don't need recovery. Hunters benefit more from mobility, so you want mobility, resilience and discipline. Sometimes depending on the build you want a bit more intellect (for golden gun).
The golden rule is typically. Intellect is good, but builds that rely on it need to revolve around a kit that gives super.
I would all say resilience is 100% needed as the number one stat on all classes, from there u can pick and choose which stat suits your play style 😊
