Good information here. I'm starting my psych NP program at the end of the month and im very much hoping that i wont have to sit out for any terms to look for a preceptor. Knowing ahead of time that it can be struggle is going to help me prepare. Thanks again.

Heyyy Angel. Thanks for all the info. When you go to an online school you can precept in any city from the one you live in? Like if you meet an NP online that lives elsewhere can you go there? And could you not get into some of the groups and find NPs to precept with? Also, what areas of clinicals do you do? Of course Psych. What else?

Girl if this ain’t the truth!! I sat out 2 semesters also bc I couldn’t find a preceptor .. I had to pay a lot to finish

which university did you go to?
How could we find out whether the specific university pays for the clinical so we dont end up in that place? Paying them it will end up with lot of debt for student
I am assuming Preceptor is a clinical hours right?
Paying for clinical has become a huge thing in psych and it has nothing to do with the school
Its a pay to play society 😢😅🎉 all of these emotions
