A huge thank you to every single Patron for supporting me and the channel, it wouldn't be around today without you all! I usually include the Patron names here but there are so many of you now that the UA-cam description won't fit them all in. - Ігри

You know that the boss is really hard and "cheeseproof", when Guru "easy" tactic requires actually a lot of skill.
There is a slightly easier tactic. Use online summons. And If you use multiple damage buffing spells (the circle from wood, aura from fire, debuff from metal etc) you can critical blow him for FAR more damage.
Took me about 3 hours. I thought it was easier facing him completely alone. 28 devastating defeats , and then I finally figured out how to parry his jump attack , still he almost got me. Haven't felt that good about beating a boss since I beat Gael in DS3
How do you parry that? It’s the only thing getting me now
@@2PiecePuzzleonly parry right when he’s literally on top of you same for the horse jump
28? he defeated me 46 times and counting
@@2PiecePuzzle its 2 part, you have to actually run from him as the horse, the blade and the explosion are 3 different hit boxes, each stun and does damage, only 1 is parryable. The head of the axe.
@@2PiecePuzzle I thought it was unparryable too, I had to check online to make sure there wasn't some gimmick to the fight that I was missing. But it can be parried, once you hit the perfect timing it will be very easy to read. The biggest issue is pressing it too early - you have to parry right when he lands.
This fight was just a parry skill check for me. BTW thanks for getting me through Sekiro 👍
Honestly tho it’s basically just a party challenge so far his the toughest for me
Dudes got the best narrations ever. I could watch his videos all day long, not as old ones though, but is the past few years.
This game made me buy sekiro lol
What level were you? I feel like I’ve got the timing of his glowing attacks down but my damage is so low. I’m level 40, and barely dent his health with my criticals. Thinking I need a respec
@@bizmonkey007 I cant remember. Just always have 2 companions and the earth spell IMPOSING SLAB helps. Good luck!
After 10 + years of souls like games, this is the first level that broke me.
have you fought Darkeater Midir with just a wolf longsword? (Twas a bet) that broke me, until I broke him! Demon of Hatred in sekiro was tough as well, with those crazy camera angle flipping jumps.
@@ProffessorYellow Midir was extremely easy for me, just tedious. Demon of hatred was also very easy as long as you use the hat for his flame lane ability
@Orfeas interesting, and I got lu bu first try, it was like a rinse repeat of Sekiro's first boss. And I just played defensive when he got off the horse. Goes to show different people are different, lol. Midir was he'll for me. Stupid lasers
Frost Lance was an invaluable tip. Good job on explaining when to counter his criticals, even though I struggled with his charges (as opposed to his jumps). TYVM!
I learned his moves, blocked almost every attack but I can barely put a dent in his health
It's breaking his posture and then critical attacking him that does the damage. That and make sure your morale is rank 25.
What the guru said. Just beat him tonight, I think I used normal attack twice. Played passive, deflected then spirit attack. Great boss
@@Tyrannicon thanks for the advice 🔥 ended up raising my morale to 25 and destroyed him. My fav fight in the game so far
He has sooo much health maaan.... However, a tip for any boss fight. The critical blows can be buffed. Just use every single damage buff in the game, RIGHT before you critical blow. So it actually does damage.
@@eon2330Exactly. Using Amp Dmg right before is clutch. I double dipped on the game and I’d read about a strat that I used the second time that I wish I knew first time around. Respec into atleast 22 Earth. Gives you B Agility w SJ’s Heavy armour. Next use Imposing Slab against him when you’ve learned him charge at you moments. Does absolute work on him. Turns a 10 min slog into a 4/5 min fight. Total gamechanger
I played this boss passively, rarely using a light attack and crushing him with 1 or 2 heavy/spirit blows during his red glow attacks. I think he’s meant to punish aggressive play style forcing u to learn the parry mechanic. Died a handful of times.
There is nothing that gets me more pumped than seeing a 1970's Zeus figure intro & a naked man destroying bosses a lot of us have serious trouble fighting against. I love your videos man.
I personally watch the boss fights before fighting the boss to learn the moves and get your advice etc. but regardless, your videos always pump me up every time lol THANKS FOR THE W CONTENT
Oh yeah, the $50 is for basically watching months of your content for free. You deff deserve a lot more than that.
Most generous! Appreciate it!
Do this voice for all ur vids 😊❤
Viking screaming! Amazing
Lol I saw some comments about sekrio and this awakened some repressed memories of anguish!
Thank you for your service and your help! Glad to see you in a new game years later!
They kept his difficulty true. He’s hard here just as in Dynasty Warriors. Always loved fighting him
I was thinking the same thing! Like, was Lu Bu a real person? Bc they made sure to portray him a certain way. Definitely powerful and highly skilled
@@bigharp0949Yes he was a real person
@@non-applicable3548 I looked him up. Very interesting character
This fight tested me so hard but i succeeded thanks to everyones helpful tips. Any tip I could give someone trying this battle is definitely use impaling slab it helps when he jumps at you and i also used ice trap for when his blade got set on fire when he jumps into it it puts the flames out. Also you need to excel at parrying.
I’ve figured out how to deflect all of his attacks but I’m just dying a lot now for every time I miss lol
You are the man!!! Love all your vids. Thanks again for Sekiro. Wish your channel all the best in future prosperity
I found it best to tackle him solo, the ice lance is a good spell as it always has been but due to his agression i also mix in Frozen Spear Trap, other than that learn the timing on his red attacks to parry them, don't be afraid to normal block his entire non-red combo! he is pretty chill and fun !
Whats up with the epic voice over? Haha. I have to say this has been one of the more entertaining boss-tutorials ive seen. Thanks for the help and a good laugh :D
Ice trap make wonders. Break his spirit bar pretty fast, safe to use, ICE TRAP BLOCKS HIS FIRE ATTACKS.
Thank you for advise, it was very usefull!
Love this man in this game and Dynasty Warriors kicks my butt every time I see him no matter what game I see him in. Challenging boss absolutely love him he's a excellent skill gap glad I beat him. The Legendary Lu Bu!
Wish they kept the voice actor and the music
Been with this channel ever since Sekiro. It's hilariously informative.
The video where guru replied to online comments on the bull fight XD had me in stitches
Honestly bro too funny 🤣
Are you the same Tyrannicon who made those hilarious Skyrim Machinima videos back in the day?Love your videos, mate. Thanks for making it look so fun to play without armor.👏Hopefully i'll finally be able to take down the flying General.
I love that you get to the point.
Lmfao I love u man ur hilarious sorry I been absent for a while
Hate this boss so goddamn much It is one of the worst bosses I ever fought in any game. F*** all his non-critical attacks fuck his horse circling around the ring distracting me and hitting me when I can't see him fuck him constantly shooting arrows non-stop It never ends I've beaten all the dark souls games I've beaten every souls-like game plus their DLCs multiple times even securo and I cannot find a boss as frustrating as this one
Guru I wish this vid was out past night. I spent hours having to parry everything this boss has just to beat him
I like how he sounds like one those narrators in those old-school kung fu movies.
Did not know Winston Churchill was a gamer👍
I love this voice over you do, compared to ur most recent ones.
After overcoming Ishin's 4 phases in Sekiro. I have no fear here
I tried this method and was unsuccessful. I ended up concentrating on deflection to get his stagger meter full for fatal blows. Took me 3 hours but I took this bastard down in about two minutes on a brutal assault with perfect deflection
XD the guru never dies in a game
Red Hare should be separate secret ultimate endgame boss
youve helped me with the first boss i thank you a lot
One small cheese I found to beat him easy when he is on his horse. Stand at the gate entrance and you can keep him in close. Attacking him when he tries to shoot his arrows and block when he does his special horse attack.
Yes man the boss of the bosses
Parry and dodge being on the same button is easily the dumbest decision in this game. Fuck that and fuck this boss. Thanks for the guide.
Thanks, Guru! 👏
I did struggle a bunch with these attacks. Never thought of using blink
I can't wait until Throthgar fights him and starts to get mad at the Guru for his tips "YOUR TIPS SUCK GURU THEY DON'T WORK!" 🤣
*how to easily beat him*
"Be really good and very high-level"
Haha ok, I'll get right on that
Crazy that Alan Watts came back from the dead to pwn Wo Long and then post guides on UA-cam
Very skillful movement. It took me two days to learn all his patterns and deflect properly.
Took me 45 mins
12 hours so far for me . Buddy is smackin me
This actually was the guide I was looking for exactly. I want the grind/skillcheck to earn the reward.
I tried for 3 hrs...idk why for me he is after parry he immediately hits 2 successive big attack
Currently stuck on Xiahou dun fights can’t wait for a cheese vid for it
Can't wait for boss vs boss tournament if possible 👀
The king of swiss cheese have return
Thanks dude
I found this fight easier solo It took me like 3 tries. Allies just mess up my deflecting rhythm and when he’s off his horse they take too much aggro and cause him to get back on his horse before getting a critical on him sometimes because solo I could usually get two off before he’d be back on the horse. I feel this fight is another git gud moment where they just plan to test your deflecting abilities
how did you get the allies there are none when i fight him
@@ScrumpDiIIy at the flag under alliance menu I think it’s called
Took me like 7 hours in total but I finally killed him solo, on that run I literally knew every move and barely got hit. 😭
took me 13 times to figure him out. maybe just 3 times if i watch this guide first 😂. But it was satisfying. Thanks to remind us of out bad temper 😅
thanks for the tips. His jumping flame halberd attack is really hard for me to parry for some reason.
The Guru, Mightiest Among Men!
I love watching this guys videos he always got my laughing my ass off😅😅😅😅
Ive been running through this game, using no magic, hardly any martial arts, then this chad pops up and smacks me in the jaw. Im able to block a whole lot of his attacks but the 4 mistakes i make throughout this 10 minute fight fucks me over every time.
What if I feel like I know how to deflect all the blows, but just at 25% hp and 0 flasks, I forget all I know :()
One of the only bosses in this game I felt was both enjoyable and challenging.
Among men, Lü Bu; among horses, Red Hare"
Loved fighting lu bu.
I'm so glad I played eldin ring if not my timing would be terrible didn't realize how easy he actually is if your good at Perry's ❤️❤️🔥
50+ attempts now and I still can't beat him, have only gotten his health to red on two occasions. The skill hike from the previous bosses is silly, for a mid-game one even more so. I can't believe they actually gathered some feedback from play testing, because clearly lots of people are struggling.
It has ruined the game for me quite frankly. At least it was on Gamepass.
This is how you pursue… Lu Bu
Beat him, he was generous enough to let my parry him consistently, instead of every critical attack make the parry sound only to take full damage
Okay since this took forever and a lot of experimenting I think I actually found the somewhat cheese strategy. Elemental Plague, Stone Weapon, Lightning Weapon, and Frost Lance (Optional I suppose). Heaviness reduces Lightning Resistance and Lu Bu is pretty weak to it. More importantly though these two fuck up a spirit meter together. Beyond that parry into bow attacks and use any flurry martial art that has mobility (Zhang Feis weapon art is busted for this) to apply these and punish the stagger windows when they proc. Just parrying this asshat isn't enough is what I'm saying he will eventually wear you down. This build actually overwhelms him eventually. Especially with the Wood summon.
Has anyone tried an earth build for this fight? I seem to remember a spell that inflicts earth damage on parry, and playing defensively ses effective
Just went through my first try, and i can already tell this is gonna be hard asf.
Update: It took me like 20 tries to kill him. Hard, but not too hard.
My strategy was: morale 25, high vitality, no companions, gear fully upgraded (at this point), lots of parry and patience. The last quarter of the fight is where things get really intense with all those fire attacks, so you gotta have some potions left. Good luck to ya all.
He has toooooo much health man. He is so easy to deal with, its just a 5 min long fight that you can literally be 1 shot if you aren't a tankier build.
@Eon 2 yep, really high health bar, and you have just like 1 chance to attack him after having do deflect or parry like 10 of his. 1, 2 mistakes, and you'll have to do it all again.
@@adaopavoni i cheese him with earth wood. That way I only have to think about the red crits.
Turn on the 2 damage reduction earth effects (earth armor and the shout), then the wood enchant that heals you, walk through the gates and mash light attack until he goes red, deflect, reapply your buffs longest duration first, so shout then heal then armor. You can even stack damage reductiom effects on him if you have any to empower. You can earth slab his fire moves. Its funny because you can still lose if you don't parry his red moves. But the red attacks are literally all that matter. Sometimes he just doesn't use enough of them for you to need to do anything but heal via pots.
@Eon 2 Nice, sounds like a great strategy. Sounded even better than the Guru's LMAO.
Nah bro I wish I was like you guys. I'm about to give up literally because I haven't taken 1 little bar of damage. I will be happy enough for you guys to pass it instead of my weaka**.
Crazy how there hasn't been any cheesing yet in this game.. Makes me think i did it a little too much in elden ring lol
Without him jumping back to his horse he's nothing.
How do you keep morale at 25 when the flags nearby only get you up to 20?
when he is spinning around on his horse you can run to him and then when he shoots, his arrows can't hit you if you are close to him, so you can do whatever you want (I usually did weapon mastery)
I liked using the arrows to regain spirit, pretty easy block and they don't do much damage
Yup this is the cheese for real. Easy to manipulate him into arrow spamming or leaping and you can punish those free. If you really hate this fucker you can stone weapon into lightning and stagger him twice reliably. Any fast hitting martial art fucks him up with weapon buffs. Obviously spirit attack when you stagger him.
I’m finding no window to do enough damage.
This fight was a pain in the ass! I'm only 12 points in the water tree.
This was the hardest I had with a boss since sekiro last boss. But tbh it never felt unfair, I pretty enjoyed and never raged (strange for me)
If i recruit 2 people then i get lost connection problem at the end😡 i’m on ps5….is it a bug?
I thought I would never see him again after dynasty warriors
3 y dam you Lu daaaaaaaaammmmmm yoooooooouuuuuuuuuuuu
How many level or how long does it take to get to the point to defeat him?
Why does it look like lu bu attacked zues in an onson
I just beat him with help from a couple of friends co op. One was lvl 115 😂😂😂 couldn’t do this one solo
Gives me dynasty warriora 4. Flashbacks when i had ro run away from lu bu 💀
Left for two months and came home to this fight. Very unfortunate I have lost the touch and doubt I can beat this boss. I can't even beat the wizardry master training.I'm level 67. I couldn't beat the first boss so I grinded to level 15 then finally beat him fairly easily, most of the game until Lu Bu had been a breeze.
I have lowered my equipment weight and I fought him at level B weight and it was much easier to dodge his attacks
My main issue is that my camera doesn't follow up with him.
Idk How but I killed him first Try , I thought it was going to be way tougher than it ended up being. Had zero heals by the end
Is he serious about the naked part 😂😂
3 days and still can't do it, feel like giving up
Took me 2 tries to beat lubu and the father son duo if you get used to deflecting it’s easy and make sure your equipment isn’t in the red if u can’t deflect lower the weight
I had to figure this out
I done it with no summons and just hit once or twice everytime you're going to hit, otherwise just wait to parry red attacks, its a long fight compared to the other bosses so dont rush or you'll get obliterated
Ya know the red attack where he charges at ya and hit ya up in the air that one is the one I can seem to get the timing for down I can deflect and dodge every other thing but not that.
@@lights_utopia1130 yeah thats the hardest one to learn to parry, when he does it you have to wait for him to do about 4 steps forward, then you can parry (he doesnt hit you if he touches you at the start of the animation), but still its hard
@@serphvarna4154 I beat him found another way dodge/parry him right when he's about to swing upwards he jerks in chest area slightly if ya parry/dodge then it works to.
@@lights_utopia1130 wait for his swing animation then parry
took like 10 attempts, he is hard, sad i used summons on him that weren’t supposed to be there
Wish this came out 2 days ago, beat him at his own game and full spec into fire 🤣
Took about 50 attempts but teaches you to deflect better 😥
Took me 12
When he gets to half health…I haven’t gotten him below 75% health and he has been off his bourse twice
Sounds like you aren't morale rank 25.
@@Tyrannicon That really shouldn't be as big a problem as it is, but yea. Max weapon level and rank 25, and damage buff right before you use the crit. He has SOOOOOOO much HEALTH.
Ok so probably the hardest video game boss fight I’ve ever done so get ready.
Here’s how I beat him - 7 in wood, 43 in water. Any time he puts his weapon in the ground and turns he is going to shoot his arrows, so I would do the spell that would have icicles crash out the sky do a good chunk of damage each time. Then when you party his critical attack, hit him with a power shot then do the icicle drop again. This is the easiest way for me to beat him
Anyone who can help me
I can't keep going anymore
PS5 : Nobumirin
Bro I didn’t know this was basically dynasty warriors wtf
I’m new to soulslike games, and I NEVER parry in fromsoftware games… I haven’t played Sekiro, so this game has been a massive learning curve. Your videos help a lot, but holy hell parrying is a BITCH man.
They could've made the AI smarter with the ally. Because when he's on Red Hare, they are just useless. Lmfao.
This game is proving to be by far the hardest souls like after Sekiro!
Naaah, only this Bossfight Rest was Always Like First or second/third try
Took me 2 days but I finally beat him with imposing slab ( takes off a good Amount ) and deathly bog
How do you damage him with the slab?
He seems to always dodge or run away quickly after a parry so the slab wouldn’t damage him..
@@nickywan123 many diff times like right after a parry and he falls off his horse run up to the slab follow through with death bog
@@leiperfamily7707 Still difficult to pull off, i wish there was a video guide or something.
@@nickywan123 their is on UA-cam you didn’t check it out ? I used a combo of one of the videos but with my own attack after awhile you will start to memorize his attack pattern
Lu Bu is awesome in this game. They did him justice. It's just a straightup duel. Most of his attacks come out fairly slow compared to other bosses/enemies in the game, but he does have a lot of variety to him.
He's a true skillcheck with very little bullsh*t.
Lu bu is a mother fucker! What's it gonna be like at level one? Oh boy. I can't beat this guy I had to take a break and play ff16 for a bit. Now I'm back at it!
No cheese for Lu Bu xD
Real unrelated
But should I start NG+1 on elden ring yes or no? Looking for opinions .. I got the age of stars ending but then proceeded to get burned by the three fingers after , so I’m not sure where that leaves me . Is it worth it to do a NG+ and get the needle to cure my flame of frenzy curse ?
If you like the game yes gives you a chance to get more items u were unable to get or extra and also experience other endings, i usually do new game + for pvp purposes, ive played up to new game+ 5
As someone who has 100% completion of the game I would say yes, it’s worth it.
