I need to tell all of you people about my dad’s death which happened on his 93rd birthday 2018. Dad was dying in his own darkened bedroom laying on a rented hospital bed, he was under hospice care and there was a nurse who told my mother that he was fighting his death because he didn’t want to leave my mom alone. They had been married 73 years. Mom told him it was okay to go. A little while later he started talking about seeing Redbirds and then a few minutes later he said, “ Oh thank you for bringing in the light, it helps a lot, “ nobody had turned on an extra light but he saw it. Then he raised up his arm and held out his hand and said, “Jesus.” Then he expired. I believe Our Lord came for him. Dad was a very good man who brought my mother and his children all to Christ. He was a true guardian of his family.
I sure wouldn’t call listening to this as fun. You must be rather sick to say something so bizarre. I think it’s painful and heartbreaking to hear how much Our Lord suffered for our salvation. I am driven to tears listening to this horror story and I can’t imagine how people could be so cruel to any human being much less Jesus who was pure Love and a Man who was gentle, kind and taught mankind about God. This presentation is educational and tell us so much history and science that has showed us about Jesus Christ.
My husband was a chemical engineer who worked for the Defense Department. My husband knew Raymond Rogers who helped develop scientific equipment that was used to study topography to be used when planning landing sites for the moon landing and probably for other purposes. The tool was called the VP8 analyzer. It was used to study pictures of the Shroud which showed real contours of the face. Ray told my husband that while he was studying it he had a dream that an angel came to him and told him to quit studying the Shroud that God didn’t want them to prove it was genuine that He wanted people to believe in it by faith alone. He changed a lot after studying the Shroud.

I totally believe it is genuine and it is Our Lord Jesus and it just crushes my heart to think that human beings could ever do this to anybody much less Our Savior. We had a picture of our Lord’s face, (the image from the shroud) as we grew up, and being a child, I never really doubted it was really Jesus. What I learn nowadays is making me look anew, and I am awed by the truth. Poor, beautiful Jesus. How he suffered for us.
When a museum quality replica of the Shroud is set up back lit in the Sun, and you walk to the left or right of it, the image vanishes. that is a holographic observation Photos and paintings do not do that. The reason the image vanishes is because to see a holographic image you must view it in the direction the light was traveling when image was created, in the case of the Shroud that is straight out of body so one must look at it straight on to see it clearly. It is not possible to make a holographic image with the human hand. holograms are created by bouncing adiffracted laser light off the object and creating a interference pattern. image process on shroud is a holographic process in which an interference pattern was created by a light energy that radiated from within the body then made contact with the linen while body was levitated between the 2 halves of the cloth. To make a hologram the object being replicated cannot touch the film plate, in this case the film plate is the linen

There are so many things a forger would have to be aware of that knowledge of in the 14th and 15th centuries in the Shroud. They would have had to been a 20th or 21st century level, world-class expert in photography, biology, botany, hematology, minerals, textiles, chemistry, anatomy, radiology, plus had an extensive knowledge of Roman weaponry, ancient and first century Jewish burial customs, and much more. Anyone who denies that the Shroud of Turin is authentically the burial cloth of Jesus is lying to themselves. Only two image processes in the world contain forensically accurate depth information, holograms and mri's magnetic resonance image. It is not possible to create this type of information on linen with the human hand. The front and back image on the Shroud is a complex variation of shades of light and dark that create the optical illusion of depth forensically accurate to a man approximately 5 ft 11 175 lbs. There is no way this is man-made. That is a certainty.

My own view is quite straightforward:- if the shroud of Turin is real and authentic then Jesus was the one true Messiah, the son of God, and everything in the Bible is true.
Well I’d be careful with that. Even if the shroud wasn’t the actual cloth that was used for Jesus (I believe it Is but just for the sake of argument) that doesn’t disprove or prove anything. View it as a reminder that Jesus underwent a horrible ordeal as a sacrifice to humanity, not as proof that the Bible is real. We trust that what the Bible says is true, no matter the scrutiny it’s put under. Physical evidence like the shroud are nice and helps reaffirm our faith, but faith is about trust and needing materialistic proof isn’t relying too much on trusting the Bible. So use it as a good reminder, not the basis for your faith :)

Topic : The properties of the Shroud of Turin To all those geniuses, that claim that it is a painting produced by a medieval painter circa 1500 AC, please find another painting (work of art from any period by ANY painter ) that when photographed would produced and exhibits the properties produced (a 3 dimensional positive of a negative) in the Shroud of Turin. The date is irrelevant (whether its a modern or ancient work of art) because what I am focusing here on this post is on the PROPERTIES which the Shroud exhibits when studied by competent scientists in a control environment . My main claim is that these properties are ONLY found in the Shroud of Turin and NO were else on planet earth therefore it is NOT a work of art made by a man but it is a miracle performed by Jehovah God himself. The day that anyone could duplicate the results/properties of the Shroud of Turin in a man made painting then I will believe it is a painting, till then I will acknowledge it as the Shroud linen that covered the dead body of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ preserved by a miracle performed by ALL MIGHTY Jehovah God (The Father) himself.

We read in John 19: 38-40 that Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea took Christ's body and prepared it for burial using 75 lbs of aromatic spices and ointments. From what I understand, there is no residue of such spices on this cloth. Shouldn't there be?
John Barron good point. We’re the “myrrh and aloes” places on the body or just in the tomb to overcome the smell? We know the women were bringing more on the first day of the week and surely they weren’t going to open the tomb to put more on the body. They were just going to leave them at the entrance to hide the rotten smell.
I'm not sure if it was not really mentioned in the video but I read a book about the Shroud and it was mentioned there that during the STURP project they also found in the shroud several traces of spices indigenous in the Mideterranean.
Absolute believer in the Shroud's authenticity but.... excited by learning something new, I pounced on the 8x2 cubit story, having only heard of this measurement from scripture, to find that it wasn't exclusively Jewish but was also used by the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians. The measurement is from the middle finger tip to the elbow and the name cubit is itself derived from the Latin for elbow. How would a medieval forger know that though? Apparently the measurement was used right up until the modern era, and is still in use in some parts of the world even now. A shame. Good lecture though, praise God.
In 1985 I was 13 at the shrine of the blessed virgin at Mount Mellary Ireland, the statue of our lady became brighter than white and shone, it moved out from the rocks and the image of Jesus Christ began to appear in its place, he was in a bright white robe, a black sash around hs waist, his hair was dark shoulder length, his heart was outside his chest,he appeared white, his hands were by his sides palms facing forward with the wounds of crucifixion visable, I couldn't tell his height, tears rolled from my eyes, not because I was weeping, it just was like my body was doing its own thing, I was taken to a little hut that had windows cut out, no glass, I blinked as in a situation like ths you will try to assure yourself what your seeing as real, when I called him in my mind, I said his name Jesus Christ, before I could say his name he responded to my thought and slowly turned his head until he was staring right at me, I looked as long as I could and hung my head, his look made me feel something that to this day struggle with, I mustered my strength and looked back up, he was still looking at me, I looked at him as long as I could which was only about 5 to 10 seconds and I had to hang my head again, I belive I felt the weight of sin beneath his gaze, I am a lowly and vile sinner, somtimes I belive that he let me see him to show me his unfathomable mercy and love as he knew then all the terrible sins I would commit but still his love was greater than anything I could ever do, other times I remember the strong thout that struck me that evening in my aunts house, that maybe it's for somone else, someone who needs to hear my testomony of the realty of what happened that day, what I can tell you with total faith, is that Jesus Christ is rean, you need to know about his firece sidde that some girls and I saw, I can tell you that I think of that moment many times throughout the day, my one regret is that I didn't throw myself facedown on the ground I front of him, look up Mount Mellary apparitions on UA-cam, there's video from the week during the visions and eye witness testimony, hope this helps you in your journey too the Father through Jesus Christ, Ave Maria I belive the shroud is the truth and is the image of Jesus who I saw in 1985 I mout Mellary

We had a picture of our Lord’s face, (the image from the shroud) as we grew up, and being a child, I never really doubted it was really Jesus. What I learn nowadays is making me look anew, and I am awed by the truth. Poor, beautiful Jesus. How he suffered for us.

When a museum quality replica of the Shroud is set up back lit in the Sun, and you walk to the left or right of it, the image vanishes. that is a holographic observation Photos and paintings do not do that. The reason the image vanishes is because to see a holographic image you must view it in the direction the light was traveling when image was created, in the case of the Shroud that is straight out of body so one must look at it straight on to see it clearly. It is not possible to make a holographic image with the human hand. holograms are created by bouncing adiffracted laser light off the object and creating a interference pattern. image process on shroud is a holographic process in which an interference pattern was created by a light energy that radiated from within the body then made contact with the linen while body was levitated between the 2 halves of the cloth. To make a hologram the object being replicated cannot touch the film plate, in this case the film plate is the linen

There are so many things a forger would have to be aware of that knowledge of in the 14th and 15th centuries in the Shroud. They would have had to been a 20th or 21st century level, world-class expert in photography, biology, botany, hematology, minerals, textiles, chemistry, anatomy, radiology, plus had an extensive knowledge of Roman weaponry, ancient and first century Jewish burial customs, and much more.
First, they would have to have produced a linen cloth in the exact proportions as was customary at the time of the resurrection, with a very specific 3 over 1 herringbone weave that had been out of use for more than 1,000 years.
They would have to be able to do all of this on their own, in secret, telling no one, and creating this entire Shroud and then never using the technique ever again.
They would have had to have had intimate knowledge of and access to the Sudarium of Oviedo, being able to match not only the blood patterns exactly, but the extremely rare AB-blood type, 500 years before ANYONE knew there were different blood types (discovered in 1901). Only 6% of all humans have type AB- blood.
They would have had to have known about a tortured body's production of bilirubin, even though it is invisible to the naked eye, yet the blood stains on the Shroud are saturated in bilirubin.
Anyone who denies that the Shroud of Turin is authentically the burial cloth of Jesus is lying to themselves.
I can certainly understand how absolutely terrifying such a prospect must be for those whose lives have been wasted in denial of God, and Jesus. I wouldn't want to have something I have refused to believe all my life turn out to be true.

Only two image processes in the world contain forensically accurate depth information, holograms and mri's magnetic resonance image. It is not possible to create this type of information on linen with the human hand. The front and back image on the Shroud is a complex variation of shades of light and dark that create the optical illusion of depth forensically accurate to a man approximately 5 ft 11 175 lbs.

My own view is quite straightforward:- if the shroud of Turin is real and authentic then Jesus was the one true Messiah, the son of God, and everything in the Bible is true.
Well I’d be careful with that. Even if the shroud wasn’t the actual cloth that was used for Jesus (I believe it Is but just for the sake of argument) that doesn’t disprove or prove anything. View it as a reminder that Jesus underwent a horrible ordeal as a sacrifice to humanity, not as proof that the Bible is real. We trust that what the Bible says is true, no matter the scrutiny it’s put under. Physical evidence like the shroud are nice and helps reaffirm our faith, but faith is about trust and needing materialistic proof isn’t relying too much on trusting the Bible. So use it as a good reminder, not the basis for your faith :)

To all those geniuses, that claim that it is a painting produced by a medieval painter circa 1500 AC, please find another painting (work of art from any period by ANY painter ) that when photographed would produced and exhibits the properties produced (a 3 dimensional positive of a negative) in the Shroud of Turin. The date is irrelevant (whether its a modern or ancient work of art) because what I am focusing here on this post is on the PROPERTIES which the Shroud exhibits when studied by competent scientists in a control environment .
My main claim is that these properties are ONLY found in the Shroud of Turin and NO were else on planet earth therefore it is NOT a work of art made by a man but it is a miracle performed by Jehovah God himself. The day that anyone could duplicate the results/properties of the Shroud of Turin in a man made painting then I will believe it is a painting, till then I will acknowledge it as the Shroud linen that covered the dead body of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ preserved by a miracle performed by ALL MIGHTY Jehovah God (The Father) himself.
Concerning the dating in which it was made , my opinion (which I could be wrong on it) is that it is the burial Shroud linen of our Lord Jesus Christ. We read in John 19: 38-40 that Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea took Christ's body and prepared it for burial using 75 lbs of aromatic spices and ointments. From what I understand, there is no residue of such spices on this cloth. Shouldn't there be?
John Barron good point. We’re the “myrrh and aloes” places on the body or just in the tomb to overcome the smell? We know the women were bringing more on the first day of the week and surely they weren’t going to open the tomb to put more on the body. They were just going to leave them at the entrance to hide the rotten smell.

Absolute believer in the Shroud's authenticity but.... excited by learning something new, I pounced on the 8x2 cubit story, having only heard of this measurement from scripture, to find that it wasn't exclusively Jewish but was also used by the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians. The measurement is from the middle finger tip to the elbow and the name cubit is itself derived from the Latin for elbow. How would a medieval forger know that though? Apparently the measurement was used right up until the modern era, and is still in use in some parts of the world even now. A shame. Good lecture though, praise God.
I also believe the shroud is the real deal , the very image of Jesus Christ and proof of the resurrection, God's calling card.
In 1985 I was 13 at the shrine of the blessed virgin at Mount Mellary Ireland, the statue of our lady became brighter than white and shone, it moved out from the rocks and the image of Jesus Christ began to appear in its place, he was in a bright white robe, a black sash around hs waist, his hair was dark shoulder length, his heart was outside his chest,he appeared white, his hands were by his sides palms facing forward with the wounds of crucifixion visable, I couldn't tell his height, tears rolled from my eyes, not because I was weeping, it just was like my body was doing its own thing, I was taken to a little hut that had windows cut out, no glass, I blinked as in a situation like ths you will try to assure yourself what your seeing as real, when I called him in my mind, I said his name Jesus Christ, before I could say his name he responded to my thought and slowly turned his head until he was staring right at me, I looked as long as I could and hung my head, his look made me feel something that to this day struggle with, I mustered my strength and looked back up, he was still looking at me, I looked at him as long as I could which was only about 5 to 10 seconds and I had to hang my head again, I belive I felt the weight of sin beneath his gaze, I am a lowly and vile sinner, somtimes I belive that he let me see him to show me his unfathomable mercy and love as he knew then all the terrible sins I would commit but still his love was greater than anything I could ever do, other times I remember the strong thout that struck me that evening in my aunts house, that maybe it's for somone else, someone who needs to hear my testomony of the realty of what happened that day, what I can tell you with total faith, is that Jesus Christ is rean, you need to know about his firece sidde that some girls and I saw, I can tell you that I think of that moment many times throughout the day, my one regret is that I didn't throw myself facedown on the ground I front of him, look up Mount Mellary apparitions on UA-cam, there's video from the week during the visions and eye witness testimony, hope this helps you in your journey too the Father through Jesus Christ, Ave Maria
