Great tutorial, as a pub landlord this video has helped me get started at running my own nights. The way you have split the video into sections makes it easy to go back over sections you may want to revisit. Great work
I'm playing around with my FLX4 since 6 months right now and have planned to do a web based training soon. Which was new to me is the Key sync. Actually I'm trying to mix songs with the same or +-1 key into each other but I learned that I can use the key sync to switch to another melody. Will try that out soon. I'm connected to soundcloud at the moment but Tidal seems to get a try from me in the near future. Also, I must admit, your videos picking me up where I am right now. Hands up for that 🙌🙌
I just learned about the Tidal Suggestion Box and how easy it is to find songs that can narrow down songs for easier and faster mixing + also discover what kind of music they want to play! So cool!
I learned that the flx4 is prob the best entry level mixer, and software wise prob would be more beneficial to start with rekordbox software . Love your videos guys I’m a big fan of you what you Leeds boys have done, especially Jamie and his mixes and tutorials. Thank you so much from America. When I visit my family in Leeds I hope to stop by HQ and meet you all one day in person! #wearecrossfader
I learned that I need to dj more, it's not as hard as I make it out to be..with the simple steps provided in the video I'm inspired to get at it again 🎧#wearecrossfader
I’ve already purchased the complete package so I would love to share the passion with my friends who are just getting into Djing. The most important things I’ve learned were the skills to be a competent and confident DJ such as open format and scratching. #wearecrossfader
What I've learnt is that the suggestion feature also works for streaming services like Tidal. Some months ago, we had to analyse tracks on software once they were loaded to a deck because beatgrid or tempo was usually wrong. I have never used a streaming service to DJ for two years (the years I've been DJing in my bedroom). These improvements in AI suggestion and analysis are very useful when we have a small music library or we take requests of songs we don't have. That's awesome 👍 #wearecrossfader
Thank you Crossfader for the video... a key takaway for me is that: Its ok to use a key feature such as beat sync, but I should not rely on that feature after aging. #wearecrossfader
I’ve learnt that not only are these demonstrations and instructions really easy to follow and understand, but also by having a music subscription service such as #tidal learning to mix when you’re a newbie can be less daunting and ultimately more enjoyable. Thank you for another great tutorial #wearecrossfader
Love how clear your instructions are and celebrating as I’ve just completed my first course with you 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 congratulations on collab with Tidal - boom 💥
You guys are awesome. I’ve learned so much but the most important thing I’ve learned is how to actually use my ddj flx 4. Your courses on the controller have helped me so much being a newbie and never djing before. Thanks again. #wearecrossfader
I find mixing in key a bit hit and miss sometimes, and doesn't always work. But it's helpful to try. I always need motivation to keep my library organised so your help with this is appreciated. Thanks for the video! #wearecrossfader
Great content. It was so simple to follow. I have been looking to start Djing but was so stressed about have to catch up with all the music. Tidal is perfect. #wearecrossfader
I’m loving the Crossfader tutorials, especially the open format and transitions courses. Thanks for getting me up and running with transition tips so I can DJ along with playing cello. #wearecrossfader
Hi crossfader crew I just finished watching your video on how to dj and I wanted to express my gratitude. The section about the phrasing is good. Although I knew about these techniques already. The bpm related advices are quiet good as well. #wearecrossfader
It was great to learn how to use the AI feature that helps suggest what songs should mix well together based on key/BPM. I have a huge library and often my brain doesn’t do well to remember exactly how a song goes 😂 this is super helpful as a way of giving me a method to be able to test more quickly #wearecrossfader
"I learned how to view phrases as sentences and mixing out at the drop is a good technique. Also I thought it was interesting that you don't use the cross fader. The streaming radar was also cool and the dj area on tidal. I didn't know about that. #wearecrossfader"
I done a nunmber of courses and the your team is great at covering baseics to more advanced techniques. I've thoroughly enjoyed your tutorial videos. Keep them coming! #wearecrossfader

Thank you for this tutorial, there is such a lot in there so am saving and will re-watch again. I’ve learned such a lot but my favourite part was the key sync, Mel H #wearecrossfader#mom-a-vibez

Referring to phrasing as sentences made the concept click for me. Ive had a time understanding phrasing.
