Dear Brothern, know the fact and theology before teaching the scripture.
Even during St. Paul evangelical time, the church splits were there, like, Apolloist, Paulinist, Jewish Christians, etc, and during early chruch there were " Gonosists, Ana baptist,Novatinist, Arianism, Purtians etc,". Its not the Church bishops split the church.
1) Only after the Emperor Constantaine, who accepted Lord Jesus Christ as the Saviour for the people of all nations in the 2nd century, the faith was unified with the Apolstalic Creed (Not the Holy Bile) at the Nicene Council and then the church was called "Catholic". (not by Pope Leo I, his time period is 5th Century). It was not because of the power that reined in during church formation, but only the universal faith of Christ and the pathway practised by the Apostles and the patriarchs of the early Church.
2) Know that the prefix "Roman" was added prior to Catholicism as a critic word, only after the 16th century by King Henry VIII, the former of the "Anglican Church", thus by insulting the Pope in Rome and believers of the Catholic church. However, God has glorified the church and the believer nowhere minds of the critics of "Roman Catholic"'. Catholic always means Universal;
3) Also, we know that Appostles wrote only the Epistels, not the Bible, what we have in hand in the modern world; The Bible (Collection of Books) is canonized only after the Emperor Constantaine. Also, the Apostle St.Thomas didn't bring the morden Bible to spread Christianity among people in coastal India in the 1st Century.
Solascripture is western propaganda, but not the Church teachings, not even acknowledged by reformers Fr. Martin Luther or John Calvin
4) Easter is a festival celebrated to embark on Lord Jesus's resurrection during April, to divert the people of Greece who were celebrating the prosperity festival during that period. It's the same as Christmas, it's a celebration to edify self, and focus on Christ, diverting from the sun, where people of that time celebrated in april. This is purely political but there is no agenda in it. Belivers celebrating the festivals have no harm if that bring close to church union. Our Lord also said to celebrate festivals; if any festivals edify the believers and unite with our Lord, there is no other joy in the world.
5) No one puts fresh wine into old skin, otherwise the wine will burst the skin. If you can not understand or are not able to accept the Perpetual virginity of Mother Mary, please do not produce false teachings, as thought by some fanatic pastors, just protestants. No rebels like Martin Luter, Calvin or methodist Wesly(s) preached this. These were discussed and explained for the millennium and millennia together.
Mother Mary is the mother of our Lord Jesus, and blessed among women, a chosen vessel for the new fresh wine protected from the shades of the sin from whom. Perpetual for ever. Everything is possible by the mighty Lord.
6) Baptism is a sacrament instituted by our Lord, a token or pathway towards salvation to unite with the mother church. There is nothing like infant or adult baptism, where the sacrament (covenanet) is applicable to all believers and their households. This was the practice by early church believers and we have a prompt record for this. Even Chrointhians baptized the dead souls in anticipation of salvation; Pauline neither condemned it nor approved it.
7) Basalica means a huge gathering of believers, not buildings. Please don't add insane information to it just to show off yourselves with eloquent speech.
8) If you don't understand or accept the theology of the Transubstantion, please abstain from those teachings. The Transubstantion, the substance transforming into the real body and blood of Christ during the Eucharistic service is apolastic and biblical; Its well said during Eucharistic serice that "Its mystery of faith, the belivers ackwoledge it saying Amen". This Eucharistic celebration is not for the forgiveness of sins but to take part in His sacrifice, remembering and declaring His birth, death, resurrection and His second coming for the judgement of living and dead.
9) Celibacy is the regulation of the Catholic Church and that is nothing about the faith in God. The church does not compel anyone to adopt celibacy but to assume the sacrament of ordination. The Church asks the faithful to adopt celibacy for many reasons to serve better during their priesthood.
10) Before the Bible was canonized as the modern script in our hands, the Apostolic creed was the universal faith and practiced by the early Christians. The modern bible came into our hands only after the Guttenberg printing invention in 1450. The Apostolic Creed says well about the "Communion of Saints". Please understand the theology and practice of the early Christians and teach accordingly,
11) Finaly, Dear Brothern in Christ, Solascrpiture is a western propaganda from the 16th century.
For millennia of years, the church has been built on the word of God (Canonized Bible) and the teachings and acts of the Apostles and patriarchs.
So, Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight(Romans 12:16) and
I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment (1Cor 1:10)

To answer you thoughtfully and shortly, " YES", but the Catholic church doctrines are not just one man's thought and believers to follow. All those doctrines are instigated by the church patriarch for many years and amalgamated with the power of the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is not overwhelming the Church, it does not have existed.
Of course, the Catholic church is strongly built on the words of Holy scripture and the traditions (the path forward) followed by the Apostles & the Church Patriarchs.
The Bible (meaning Collection of Books), which includes the histories & prophecies of sages, gospels, acts of the apostles, epistles, and the revelations of the 1st century were canonized as the Holy Scripture by the mother church only during the 3rd century. Even before the Bible existed, the mother Church already existed in harmony following the traditions of the apostles and the patriarchs of the church.
Our Lord Jesus said, (for the first time ever calling Simon alias "Peter", who proclaimed Him, the Messiah), “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” [Mat 16:17-19 (NIV)] ("You", does it not means Peter, the rock, the church?)
Now you can re-think and analyse whether the Catholic church is biblical, built on the rock or not and why the church magistrum is given infallible authority.
Nevertheless, no worries Brother; "For we know only in part, and we prophesy only in part; but when the complete comes, the partial will come to an end." [1 Cor 13: 9-10], and we will rejoice in one faith in Trinity.

Since after the schism, for the past 500 years, many theologians and scholars have given enough explanations and it continues.
The Bible is the Holy Scripture canonized during the third century by the church, but the church existed even before the canonized Bible.
Be clear that Mother Mary is not God to be worshiped but the Blessed to be venerable. (Traditionally followed, why bcoz)
1. Mary is filled with the grace of the Lord.
The angel Gabriel came to Mary and said “Hail, O favored one, the Lord is with you” [Luke 1:28]
2. Mary is Mother of God and Blessed among Women.
Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, and why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? [Luke 1: 42-43]
3. Mary will be called Blessed, generation after generation.
Mary rejoiced in God her Savior and said, “Henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. [Luke 1: 48-49]
4. Mother Mary is compassionate to His people and always leads them to the Lord to be docile to His words.
When the wine gave out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “O woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” [John 2: 2-5]
5. Jesus said to behold His mother and so Our Lord's mother is the mother of the Church.
“When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing beside her, he said to his mother, “Woman, here is your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home. [John 19:26-27]
And, Brother, now you think whether it is biblical & apostolic and then decide Mother Mary is worth venerable or not.
Differentiate between idols & statues. Idols are anything that replaces or predominates God. Statues are the object made for remembrance of the departed souls who really lived in the world.
The Church existed with a unified faith (with canonized Scripture & Apostolic Creed) for 1500 years. Just 500 years before, after the schism, new theologies like Sola Scriptura, Sola fide, etc were brought into church saying it as Reformation. Believers, we need to be careful of new theologies.
