Guys, your expressions of awe and wonderment seeing NYC for the first time are genuine & fantastic. But know this, the wonderment is that you’ve got there under your own sails and that’s a feat very, very few people can ever claim. Your achievements are a testament to character, don’t be overwhelmed or in awe, you’ve sailed across the Atlantic - that’s magnificent. Fair winds

Been following you since the start. I love the fact that you have achieved all of this on a shoestring budget. I follow a lot of sailing channels and yours is definitely one of my favourites. Great filming that captures your genuine amazement at what you have achieved epitomised by your tour of New York. I wish you both good luck with your journey and I look forward to following it.

Wonderful video showing your impressions of New York. Astonishing views and astonishing prices! I will make a mental note - if going to New York, take a packed lunch!.
Running out of words to describe your videos! I’ve visited 3 US cities, but have only flown over New York and have seen the skyline from Newark. I shared your excitement and emotion. Well done lads…a magnificent achievement. All the grit determination in difficult seas pays off when you can visit New York!

Surely a chilli cheese dog would have been better value lads 😜 I still find your humble nature memorising to have had the life you have already had and now absolutely smashing it across the pond. And to think you only went and sailed there yourselves. All the kudos to you.

yeah, the amount of raw human energy on the streets of NYC is quite amazing and quite noticeable when you pop in from, say, the middle of the Atlantic.
Lovely episode guys. So stoked for you to be enjoying your experiences and to share them as well. Typical you emerge from the subway to see a sign flashing the word Cheese…lol. Andy UK

Great vid guys. Brilliant to see you made it safe and sound to NY. The steam is emanating from NY subterranean steam pipe system which is supplied to a number of building throughout the city, from a number of steam generating power plants.
I miss NYC one of the few places I would want to live in the US. Walked to work almost everyday, if you want you can always find an event everyday, very good restaurants, no need to own a car. Great overall place to live. Can be an overwhelming place to visit, more relaxed when you live in NYC full time.

Amazing episode and to see your reactions was just gold. My daughter has lived there for over a decade so I've been many times but it always feels exciting to visit again. Well done guys.
I'm not a city person. But I have noticed that they look more welcoming when approaching from the sea. They are ports after all. I don't know if it's that everyone knows that yachters are good people so they let you stay in really central positions with great access for very little money, or if it's just been that way forever and no greedy people has gotten their paws on it. Imagine how many people migrated there through that very port, being greeted by that statue built in France with norwegian copper.
Hey Steffen You are right about cities they do look much more welcoming from the sea. I would like to think yachties are good people 😁 It's amazing to think how many people have been through the port in New York City and how it has grown , crazy
Great footage lads , surprisingly clean on streets etc not as crowded as i would have imagined even the subway trains , as you say " only there once" for a hot dog at $8 in New York Central bet you couldnt wait to get back aboard Atlas and chill out on anchorage taking in the view after that big day out. Cheers
Thanks John. We thought it may have been a little more crowded. Probably busier on the weekend. Crazy price for a hot dog but it's only once. We were absolutely knackered once we got back to Atlas 😴
Awesome guys so glad you made it to the big apple and thank you for the showing us around....myself l have no wish to go there....be like me going to Sydney only 20 x bigger... honestly I don't know how people live in NYC. @@TheSailingBrothers 😄 👍🏻👍🏻 an excellent tour indeed 😁👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Steffen
You are right about cities they do look much more welcoming from the sea. I would like to think yachties are good people 😁
It's amazing to think how many people have been through the port in New York City and how it has grown , crazy
One hell of a city impressed guys hotdog $8-00 damn expensive but great seeya Marty Australia
Absolutely ridiculously expensive Marty 😲
Great vlog
😁
Great footage lads , surprisingly clean on streets etc not as crowded as i would have imagined even the subway trains , as you say " only there once" for a hot dog at $8 in New York Central bet you couldnt wait to get back aboard Atlas and chill out on anchorage taking in the view after that big day out. Cheers
Thanks John. We thought it may have been a little more crowded. Probably busier on the weekend. Crazy price for a hot dog but it's only once. We were absolutely knackered once we got back to Atlas 😴
Awesome guys so glad you made it to the big apple and thank you for the showing us around....myself l have no wish to go there....be like me going to Sydney only 20 x bigger... honestly I
don't know how people live in NYC.
Still it was good to see the joy on your faces.
Thanks Adam, Luke
Another great episode
Cheers 🥂
It was our pleasure to show you around. Amazing to share this experience with you all. I nearly cried in Central Park 😭
