- We went out at 2 in the morning and bought a project car NA Miata for $1500, these are our first impressions of the car and what came with it.

$1500 for that?!?!? I'd be damned if I could get a miata for $2500 that hasn't been in 15 wrecks and rattle canned with cut springs in California with 210,000 miles.

Every time I get to wanting to sell my miata because it’s giving my trouble and I watch one of your videos it all goes away. You always inspire me to keep moving forward with my Miata. The connection between owner and Miata is too special. That being said, I would love to see a restoration on the car to make it such a nice car and give it the life it deserves.
Black and tan was the special edition for 1992, without being labeled as such. The manual steering rack is pretty rare, and desirable. Get some proper metal patch panels for the rear quarters, fix it right. It's worth bringing back.
There's lots of youtubers doing drift builds, I'd love to see a grip build as I'm into grip driving myself. The track is super fun. You can do some autocross without a roll bar first to see if you like it and then you can get a hard dog rollbar if you want to go on track. That's what I did!
So many ratted out miata’s for sale, a series of cleaning it up would be relatable for a lot of people and helpful
I'd like to see y'all work through existing needs/upgrades you feel it needs and if not a track day, go for an epic drive with all the Miatas! Fun video, and what a fun car! 👍👍 Appreciate the content!

If your already planning on building some heavily modified / swapped miatas, I would build this one back to a more daily driver oriented build. Like mostly OEM but tasteful exhaust, intake, fresh paint, etc.
I love the idea of a full OEM+ “restomod”, but if you’re wanting to get some track seat time, make that thing a time attack car!

Have done the same thing back then. Mechanically no issue at all, all matching VIN on every panel. Sold the car for the same price. The buyer texted me 10 mins after the sale post was up and drove 2 hours to buy it immediately

Drift Build Miata would be sick
I would love to see you guys throw it on bags. 3 presets for it, all the way up for daily driving, drop it a smidge for that negative wheel camper for back road twisties and a bit of drift on a weekend, and drop it all the way at a show. Could be a Daily Stanced Drift Canyon Carver all in one it would be absolutely badass!

When I subbed couple days ago I thought this was a 500k+ Channel. The Quality is insane for the amount of subs you have. I am supporting the other opinion with turning it into a OEM+ Race Car

I’ve owned a ‘91, a ‘92 and currently have a 2004 Mazdaspeed w/63K miles on it. I love Miatas. Please restore this baby. Don’t beat it, turn it into a “drift car” and dishonor it in that way.

Give it an interesting swap. Something not done, like a 3S or KA twin cam swap
I think it'd be sick with a kit and slammed + painted, keep the wheels and tyres they look awesome! maybe some over fenders for the front to match the rear too :)

Miatas are impractical daily drivers, which is exactly why I think you should turn it into one. Add sound dampening, update the interior, fix some rattles, install a remote lock, etc. Luxury Miat.

Cool video… everybody does a drift or track build… so it would be very interesting if you could do something different like a sleeper build or a comfort or luxury build.

Could you show how much it could be to get a fairly cheap s2k or rx8 and show the journey of how much and what it’d be like to build a lil fun street one out that you can track too even one that’s a bad shape and might need some extra love to see how those long nights might be to make it all good to let some of the people know how much they’d really have to put into it if they wanted something similar.

That poor thing's definitely lived a life but it's got a lot of potential still. I'd love to see you guys clean it up, de-rice it, and just make it a nice daily. Doesn't have to be perfect, and if anything it shouldn't be, but get that fender replaced, sort the rot, replace the window and de-scrote the mods.
