Finally. I've been looking for a begginer video that doesn't just tell you the basics like. Pick your class! Level up! Raid! This one was actually helpful in me starting out correctly. Thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot for this. Im just getting into WoW and have a ton of questions and confusion with the UI out of the box vs the kinds of set ups people have on youtube. Only level 38 right now but want to eventually do dungeons and raids. This helped a ton as a baseline. Some really good info in here. Thanks!
Always struggled with the "Non-Default" keybinding stuff, until I watched your video and something *clicked* and now I see the ease and beauty of it! Thanks!!
Hey bro just a quick pro ish tip set focus target option to control key and always set a focus target the trick is not to bind control+whatever options bro. make sure you guys have a blast playing the game! ill recommend more tips as i come across them. focus target is importante for pve AND pvp.
Showed up in my recommended. Been playing since 08 but there was definitely a time where I would have NEEDED a video like this. Lots of great info for newer players. Very nice!
Thank you for this video, I've been struggling to stay too close to default settings for embarrassingly long but many things clicked here that will be soo much nicer. Great guide!
Never commented on a WoW video before, but watched this with interest. Been playing since vanilla, and must admit got a lot out your video’s especially this one. So thank you for taking the time to make it. Keep up the good work 🎉
Interesting video. about ESDF: It's very good for you to recommend it, because it makes a player start thinking and considering what is more convenient for you. However, I believe WASD is still more comfortable to me, because SHIFT+, ALT+ and CTRL+ modifiers are easier to press when you use WASD, and ctrl alt shift modifiers unlock a TON more keybinds for me than ESDF. I tried it before and i switched back. I have massive commands for cooldowns 1min and longer on SHIFT+A SHIFT+D SHIFT+F SHIFT+W etc, and all other kinds of keybinds. I have 4 actionbars, most of the buttons have keybinds to them.
I've considered myself a WoW noob ever since I started in 2008 when I was 7 and have been a CASUAL experienced noob until this year. This video will drastically improve my gameplay. Thank you.
This is not only useful for new but old players like me as well. I play wow since classic lanched and never binded my keys like that ever. I usually keep wsad as it default and mostly move and turn around with my mouse. My bottom binds usually goes like 1 2 3 Q (mouse button 4) shift+1 shift+2 shift+3 (mouse button 5) E. I use R for interrupt, F for utility skills like sprint, F1 F2 F3 and F4 for bubbles and utility too. “ for ice shield and shadowstep etc. 5 for longer cd utilities such as ice block and divine shield. Mouse mid button for blink. But I see what you do and makes sense. I only didn't get esdf 😂 that will be the next I'll see. Thanks.
I haven't played in like 8 or 9 years and I looked up wow for dummies. This is the video that came up and you've just jogged my memory for soooooooo many things Life changing. They need to have this as a tutorial video right in game. Honest to God you've just made my life a million times easier. I had forgotten everything. This video is the equivalent of taking off hot sweaty boots and socks after a long day's work. That's the only way I can describe it.
as a veteran WoW player since mid TBC this helped me so much. I never was a clicker but I wasn't the best keybinder either. It will take some practice to get used to but I know I'll get the hang of it like everything else... muscle memory. Earned a sub and hope your channel continues to help others!
I quit keyboards a while back and use an Orbweaver. Thumb strafing is great AND the keys are parallel. Also mechanical. Drives my wife crazy but I love it.
the part about the keybinds was really helpful, thanks man. saved me a lot of trial and error ^^. I did ESDF instead of WASD and just moved the keybinds accordingly, it was really nice
I took your idea one step further, thanks to my OCD, and made my keybinds actually match the keyboard by utilizing Action Bar 1, 2, and 3. So I'm using in action bar 3 the following U, I, O, P, and [ then beneath that in action bar 2 I'm using J, K, L, ;, and ' then for action bar 1 I'm using B, N, M, ,, ., and /. Hopefully that makes sense.
been away from WoW since pre legion. and just getting back into it! must admit im a keyboard turner and a clicker. i was also third dps on my server before the days of cross servers! ive been wanting to change and get on the right way. your vids make sense and are easy to impliment! ty very much for what you do
I got gifted a PC today. Been a console player all my life but wanted to switch over. I knew WoW was on my list of must trys but I got to say, I am overwhelmed. Still looking forward to it though
Great video, not a class and story breakdown, but a UI and keybinds tips and tricks video is exactly what I was looking for. I played when I was a kid, and now im trying it out again.. I will be back on your page for more advice!
19:40 great tip for me. I was opening my bag to take food n potions lol. I also made my two mouse buttons shift and alt. So I free my fingers more on left hand.
Liked, subscribed and commenting. Oh, and saved the video for future reference. Great job! I just started playing last week, and have been hitting it hard. I knew my keybinds were slowing me down when my guild did a random dungeon and I spent most of my time targeting and clicking action bar buttons. Too inefficient, and takes my eyes off the action. Going to give this a try later today and see if I can get my old brain wrapped around developing new muscle memory. Nearly 60 now (years, not character level!), and still enjoy gaming quite a bit, so this is pure gold. Thanks bud!
What a fantastic help/resource. Played WOW from the first time it came out until my kids left it for other games. They got nostalgic and have added it to their game cycle and wanted me to fire it back up. (Always kept the subscription up for an occasional visit to see old friends) I logged in and couldn't remember how to do shit, did have esf, as opposed to wad like I do on liber-tea but was damned if I could remember why. This was a huge help, thank you.
Thank you, thank you! I found your video because I was trying to find out why my pally and demon hunter were running around in circles. I was like, something changed, I don't remember it being like this and I was right. That Strafe and the turn left and turn right being set up as default threw me off. I can now enjoy my pally alt again!
I just logged off for the night it’s 3:30am.. looks like I’m gonna jump back on WoW to implement all these settings especially key binding movement! Edit: I am new 2 days new to WoW
This was really helpful. Been playing for awhile and didn't realize that a lot of the things I thought were normal(clicking occasionally, camera settings, mouse wheel) actually decreases performance and is the wrong way to play. Thanks a lot!
Hi, I've been a clicker since I started WoW back 15yrs ago, and I totally hate it. No one told me I was doing it wrong, (I had never played any computer games before WoW), and I can tell you, it is so very hard to change a really bad habit. I'm very curious about the way you are doing things, and I'm especially happy that you explained movement so well...(my problem: I can't figure how to cast spells at the same time while focusing on a target and moving.) To me it's a wreck waiting to happen in the game, but you make it look so simple. I've always wanted to play a Rogue, but I simply suck at it because of the clicking. What mouse do you use for your 12 button gear? Razer? I'm going to involve myself into your methods, and see if it works for me. I can't thank you enough for such in depth guides...please keep up the great work. A gear guide would be nice...if just the mouse explained for movement and more detail. 😊
This made my day dude! YOU GOT THIS!!! I would literally bind the rogues key bilities to Q and E (if you are using WASD) and play around wiht how that feels. Keep that right click held down and go kill mobs while leveling your rogue. as you get better and better at this, start adding in more abilities :) I use a Corsair Scimitar!
Been playing off and on since beta. Never tried any of this. I'm excited to give it a go, looks like serious game changing QoL tips. Keep throwing out these great vids, your insight is gold!
Thank you for all your guide’s man🙏 I’m super new to WOW and your vid’s have helped me out a lot so far🙏 WOW can be pretty overwhelming for new players so super thankful for your content. You make it super easy to understand thanks man keep it up🙏.
Thank you for this video!! 🙏 I don't know how to explain this other than to say that I kinda knew all along I was doing it wrong and I really wanted to know the right way but I never had anyone to show me!!! Hopefully I'm not too far gone with my muscle memory to try this new better way but I'm gonna give it a go. ☺
Thank you so much first time wow player and the default movement keys was just about enough to make me stop playing again. Thanks for giving some suggestions to make things make sense
Good basic tips. I did notice you have an mmo mouse. I would recommend getting an mmo mouse with the buttons on the side for my fellow noobs. logitech g600 is the very best imo due to the g-shift key. see my ramblings at the end. I am going to try out your e,s,d,f though and make the strafing modifications. Those are super smart ideas! just have to find something to assign to w and r. (maybe character sheet and bags) This was honestly the most educational "explain it to me like i'm 2" video I've ever watched. Great job! Will be checking out your other videos soon. *subscribe* ramblings ahead: for my keybinds I use 1 thru = on the mmo mouse for the first row. for row 2, I use the same buttons but with alt + corresponding key. for 3rd row (top row), shift + corresponding key. Logitech g600 has 3 mouse buttons as opposed to just left and right click. Left click, right click, and a 3rd mouse click button to the right of your normal 'right click'. I assign the 'g-shift' mouse button (extra right click button) to 'alt', or the middle row. The extra right click button fits naturally in your hand underneath your right ring finger. The g600 is life changing. (i am not associated with logitech. I'm just spreading the news)

Been playing WoW for 13 years, and I learned at least 3 new things that I've added to my setup from this. Thank you!
bro this is not a beginner guide this is a CUSTOM keybinds and interface setting video.
Literally. Absolutely nothing to do with how to actually play the game
What I learned from just starting wow is that 90% of guides are for “new players” that know every aspect of how the game runs
@@stephenbassett9065 ya I just started a couple days ago too coming frm souls/born games and am pretty overwhelmed but enjoying it😅
@@danielfine3868 yeah I just play and try to get new gear then hope for the best lol
@@stephenbassett9065 Same lol..😂

Been wanting to play since it's release date, but life's circumstances are always kicking my ass
Thank you so much! I've been looking for this kind of guide for weeks and nobody else seems to be covering the technical basics! Actual lifesaver!
And the fact that you don't just give us keybinds/etc with minimal explanation, you give us a good explanation of why you're doing it is also great!
I just started WoW and you’ve been a very big help. Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
This is the best beginner guide out there. Thank you so much for this.
I quit keyboards a while back and use an Orbweaver. Thumb strafing is great AND the keys are parallel. Also mechanical. Drives my wife crazy but I love it.
I have the old razer Tartarus and I couldn’t imagine using my thumb to move with that would drive me nuts
the part about the keybinds was really helpful, thanks man. saved me a lot of trial and error ^^. I did ESDF instead of WASD and just moved the keybinds accordingly, it was really nice

Just started WoW today - used these settings w/ esdf. thanks DC!

Thank you so mcuh! i have implemented so much of this and my game feels so much smoother to play!!!!
Could you make a daily/weekly what to do video guide? I'm lv 70 but I feel like I'm missing stuff.
That’s a great idea! I’ll make a note of that!!
Thanks, bro! Returning to WoW after ages of absence and this video got me started perfectly 👌 👍

I just started playing world of warcraft and God damn I loved this video. Thank youuuuu lol this was all a game changer
I’ve played it back in 2007 and needed a refresher. Thank you
great video. I am going to try ESDF and more
Been trying to find a decent beginner/intermediate video for tips and finally a good one.
This was really helpful. Been playing for awhile and didn't realize that a lot of the things I thought were normal(clicking occasionally, camera settings, mouse wheel) actually decreases performance and is the wrong way to play. Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much first time wow player and the default movement keys was just about enough to make me stop playing again. Thanks for giving some suggestions to make things make sense
Thinking about coming back and my binds were kinda trash back when i played 😂 changing turn to strafe blew my mind
very helpful video i just started and really needed this.
Glad it was helpful! YOU were exactly who I was looking for!
Great video. As a healer or tank, what keybinds do you assign to target party members?
I can’t believe I started playing wow since the end of burning crusade and I never were able to master it after the basics only WASD and clicking
This was very well explained and i found it to be really helpful
This is just the guide I was looking for thx so much for helping a newb out.
Thank you for explaining in layman's terms and not making us feel stupid❤
This was a BIG help for me ! Thank you!!!

Great guide showing not only what to do but why to do it. Appreciate your guides

This video changed my life.

Robert Rambles has awesome WOW content he will explain everything to know from classic vanilla to present day.
Great vid! Finally a tutorial without over the top poor RP voiceacting. Just straight up useful information! Thank the heavens for you buddy! *subbed*
This has helped me so much. Thanks!
great guide!!! thanks man
I got so confused because I clicked this video not realizing this was Dungeon Coach. My brain got discombobulated when I heard your voice talking about WoW and not D&D.
Thanks buddy, this was super helpful! I appreciate the super beginner's guide.
Azeron Keypad is amazing for this game!
Man, that's actually a great video
Thank you so much! This was so helpful!
Newbie here with 10k hours on csgo I am definitely sticking to wasd it's like an extension of my hand

It was a really cool video for a newbie like me, thanks a lot!
Thank you SO much!
Incredible video
i been wanting to play WoW for many years but i never got in to it because for me there was too many things on screen and just looked so chaotic :D but i've played Lost Ark now for a long time and it was my first mmo what i played. i tihnk im ready for WoW :) this video was super helpful!
Thank yooouuu!🎉❤

Any current up to date help would be appreciated. I have no clue what im doing.
what level are you currently?
Very nice actually, kind of scarred to take new abilities as I've used shift numbersi nthe past and ctrl-numbers which gave me major cramps
Thank you so much for this, I KNEW I wasn't doing it right lmao
If I don't play for game time, do still play game whenever I want or free trial will expire after some time?
Dungeon coach i have a question to ask about wow that i cant seem to find the answer no matter where to go could you make a suggestion
I wish they would add the legacy movement they have in FFXIV so much better.
You are a god!🙏🙏
