Literally not enough I can say about this band live. I saw them open for PUP and u could tell no one knew them when they came out - everyone was screaming for them to come back when they left
Friend and I went to Austin to see that combo specifically. Marissa KILLED IT. I love PUP but having to follow Screaming Females every night must have been a challenge. And now with how 2020 has gone I'm so glad I got to see that show.
I keep coming back to this over and over. I'm in love with her voice.

I have so much to say about this. I love these guys. They're great! I've been following them for two years now and seeing them get so big has been amazing. Marrisa is so cute and timid but has a booming voice. Jarret is super good at what he does and has awesome style. And Michael's bass licks are just fantastic. I hope these guys get bigger. They deserve it. Good job guys.

I don't even know what to say about this except the more I listen then more I want to listen...I can't put my finger on anything specific, but put it all together like this and its just great music with purpose..love it
I Agree.. they are so original in a sea of brain dead boring clones.
If you have not seen them before you should watch another video.this is quite a subdued performance because of were there at.they usually would play 10 time louder and much more animated.

Thank you NPR!! I was only introduced to this band through a Rig Rundown a few days ago. Twas curiosity that made me click those links then subsequent video searches to actually hear some of their tunes. This band is quickly growing on me. Quite the musical departure, considering I'm a Machine Head and BLS fan. No denying great players no matter the music genre!

I dragged my 30 year old daughter along to witness them in Boston where they opened for the Breeders. As cool as the Breeders were, we both wished the setlists (10 vs 26 songs) were more balanced in the Screaming Females favor. Marissa and team had an amazing perfect live sound!

Love the bass player. His style reminds me of Kim Deal of the Pixies. Marissa's voice is a bit thin here. Needs more bass, obviously!
I will be studying this for vid months to come to be a better bass player.
Oh and Marissa is an amazing guitar player as well.
