Yeah, where is Raymond these days? Seems like he's retreated away from all public life. I couldn't find a single recent interview or anything of him here on UA-cam. Shame that such a creative drummer is just left in the shadows these days. He should have always remained Fear Factory's drummer.
@@vio2112 Yea his playing was way ahead of it's time. All those parts where he would match the Guitar parts with his double bass.Just his drum sound in general pretty much became standard in modern Metal music.
That laugh always gets me... I have had the privilege of meeting him on several different occasions... the dude is seriously funny and all around cool guy!
I saw Fear Factory live in 1993 in a small venue in Birmingham England called Edwards Number 8 (sadly now closed as far as i know) Raymond's drumming nearly blasted me out of the back of the venue lol 😆
Raymond Herrera is sadly underrated with regards his impact on modern metal. He left the scene too soon

@@vio2112Well said, totally agree. Glad I got to see the OG lineup during the Digimortal tour. He is pure inspiration for me.

I saw em twice in Melbourne, Australia in the same year. 1993….
@hanglooserecluse they were very good, like I said I was partially impressed by Raymond's drumming!
Raymond was going easy, just having fun, toying with Kevin.
One the best drummers ever. Great
He was riffing on double kicks!
No hacks?
What year is this from?
2005
Kevin is better than Raymond lol
Still, Herrera recorded Demanufacture lol
Raymond was being loose. just jamming.
I have to admit he is.... But Raymond did a bad ass job bringing that modern metal
