Last weekend, my wife bought me a red Breitling Endurance Pro for my 20 year anniversary at work. I love the look and love the feel. Very comfortable and extraordinary looking.
Congrats! I just graduated from grad school last month and got myself a white Breitling Endurance Pro as well. Love the lightness of the watch and the versatility of it as a fashion accessory.
I genuinely like the look of this model, but 3k for a quartz with a slightly questionable water resistance rating, on a piece that's meant for tough conditions. Then at the 5:14 mark I see the chrono seconds hand missing the indices pretty badly....I've seen Casio watches lining up better than that and higher grade quartz pieces line up every time. This one is a miss for me. Looks cool though.
I have watches that look more expensive than actual cost, while this one looks like it costs $800 when it’s actually about 4x that amount. Doesn’t bother me one bit, because the quality & finish is excellent for me … have the Carolina Blue.
I’m thinking of using this watch in my next triathlon instead of my Garmin 920XT. The Garmin only gives me my swim metrics; stroke rate, distance, 100m pace, heart rate, etc., times the transition, provides speed, distance, hr, etc on the bike, and only gives me pace, distance, cadence, vertical oscillation, elevation, and foot strike balance, along with all the heart rate metrics. But the Breitling tells me the time on an analog dial! Nice watch, trying to sell it as a sports watch is a stretch.
Love the Garmin. I have one myself, but I am not in the habit of comparing Garmin to Breitling... regardless of the superior functionality of Garmin in this case. You can't sleep in a bed and shower in a Ferrari 458, but you are not going to compare it to a Airstream. Luxury watches are a guilty pleasure. Who buys one wanting to track their heart rate or swim metrics? That's like worrying about the mpg on an exotic car. You know better.
Garmin is a child’s toy, while Breitling has style. Why even do Triathlon when it won’t help you for self defense? Better choice is to get the Breitling & learn BJJ or boxing, then hit the gym.
Its fun but are the features good enough, for endurance athletes? 100m water resistance might not be a good choice for swimmers or triathlets, and only 30min chronograph? Finally I still like this watch, but more because I like the colours and design. I am sure the quality is great too. But its more a lifestylewatch. Indeed it is a good companion for the adventurer but any cheap brand e.g. a cheap Casio GShock will do the job too;)
Mudmaster is great! Thank you for sharing! The Breitling is actually very well made, and has a nice movement in it. You will notice a difference in quality right away. I'm happy to discuss it with you if you want to call us with the info in the description of the video. Thanks, Chris
Hmm... I don't do triathlon and agree dial is tad busy. I'll stick with a GShock if I need a beater. Got the Bremont Broadsword on at the moment. Needed some wrist time winding.
I bought this watch a year ago, having always had tag heures I thought I'd have a change, so just after a year the second hand and sub daily have stopped working 😡😡😡 will contact breitling and give an update
Absolutely love the look of these, but I don't know if I can spend that kind of money for a watch with a plastic case. I would have definitely preferred titanium myself.
Agreed, the Maurice lacroix aikon has my attention for that reason it is in stainless steal and a mechanical movement. Would’ve preferred Titanium on that one as well but I’m sure something will come along with the same pop in preferred materials.
Nice video, thank you. I am in the market for a chronograph, and a quartz one. I like Breitling, i have a Breitling Titan Gold dress watch. And today i am wearing my Tevise Hulk a Rolex Submariner homage automatic.
I’m wearing a tag f1 chronograph, first ever proper watch as normally just had an Apple Watch. Thought I was a baller spending 2k on a watch, something nice to wear on special occasions. And now I’m looking at this as a casual wear watch for every day use because I like the look of it but now I’m like, damn, now I need a better special occasion watch. I think this is a nice watch but don’t understand why anyone would chose this over a garmin unless they were just trying to show off lol
I’m wondering that myself. Ok, it’s a Breitling, so it’s going to be expensive but essentially it’s a quartz watch. Unless that own made movement does anything more spectacular than any other decent quartz watch, I fail to see why it’s worth that much.
Your buying the name. If you can there is a watch for every price category. People that can afford a luxury watch so so because e they want to stand out. Same thing that goes for luxury cars people want to buy something that is different cars like Bentley, Porsche, Ferrari , only a few can buy them . Because most people worked hard to get to a point in there life were they can spend so much on a watch and not worry about breaking the bank. And still be ok.
I wouldn't go that far, to say 309 dollars. But yes, their pricing is sky high on this one. Maybe it should cost same as Tag Heuer F1 line up, so around 1500 or so. Every watch company likes to pretend they don't have to compete with other brands on pricing, its all a lot of fantasy these days. Competition always exists.
Not sure why this watch is not lining up with the markers. And it’s not just the seconds hand. Have one in blue and my boys has the orange. None of ours do this, they are spot on.
Nahhhh alot of sour comments, plastic, quartz, expensive, dial are full of blah blah... There is no such thing as over priced, its either you can afford it or not. All these brands are about social flex, buy one and enjoy it, if you can't because you need to pay the bills then move along, nothing to discuss here. I'm the latter, so duh... Truth hurts, but it is what it is...
Until you see at 5:14 mark, how the second hand of the chronograph misses the indices pretty badly....if I just paid 3 grand for this, I would be a little pissed. It is overpriced, plain and simple.
@@MrR2185not sure why it’s doing this me and my boy have one. I have blue he has orange. Everything lines up 100% perfect on both. And they are absolutely spot on. It’s not plastic it’s a man made carbon composite. Very robust and super lightweight and comfortable. I only got to add a breitlight to my collection and it was the one I liked the look of. The case material is a high-tech polymer alloy that has an appearance similar to forged carbon and that is 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel.
“Breitlight” - Is plastic. That’s all it is. It’s made to look like carbon. What a joke for $3400. 🙄 It’s not better than a G-Schock. It’s overrated, overpriced, and will likely decrease in value heavily over the years in comparison to other automatic watches that are comparable in price.
The case material is a high-tech polymer alloy that has an appearance similar to forged carbon and that is 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel. Unfortunately every watch deprecates except if your lucky enough to get an AP/Patek and certain Rolexes at ratailbfrom a dealer. Everything else will depreciate.
It is a genuine sports watch so if you are into cycling, running, mountaineering, swimming, fishing and so on it is perfect size. Not the sort of watch to wear with a suit for church service or a wedding.
My wrist is 7.25” & this is a medium size watch that suits most guys. Most of my watches are 40mm - 45mm; one is 47mm & agree that’s starting to get into the oversized realm. As long as the lugs aren’t hanging over your wrist, then go for it if it’s your style. 👍🏻
They are NOT a sports watch and NOT durable. Mine has always fallen off my wrist whenever I do anything remotely active. The buckle has flex in it so the pin pings out very easily, then, when it fell off on a road the buckle rear bar snapped off completely. It is not metal but some sort of composite, so breaks. If you call Breitling they just tell you to read the warrenty which excludes the strap and buckle. Just lovely they are. It is not fit for purpose, stick to G-Shock and save a couple of grand.
A G shock is great for rough use but is not a good watch for fine use. That Breitling looks great no matter what you are doing. Wearing a G shock is for very specific activities.
I am wearing my G-Shock GST-B400BD-1A2JF. This is just another overpriced G-Shock wannabe. If I was spending that kind of money on a sports watch, I would go MR-G or MT-G.

Just picked one up and I'm so glad I didn't listen to people that talk down about this watch. It's absolutely stunning and is now among my favorites!
Battery life: 2 years. Caseback: 4 small screws 😬😬
They are great watches. People just putting them down as they can’t afford one. And they are not plastic.

I agree. I want to like this, but can't see spending 3k for it. I feel like it's basically the same level as a luminox, made out of similar material.
Bought the green one today love it. Remember 3k to some people is like a 200 g shock to others

Even a Submariner is a sports watch as are a lot of Breitling stainless steel models. This one is too.
What a pointless comparison. Maybe if you listened to the first 20 secs you’d understand baby-child.
Great video. Wearing the Breitling Endurance Pro in Baby Blue. Love this watch. So lite and stylish.

G-Shock mudmaster which is my everyday work watch as a paramedic. Have this in mind but unsure of the overall materials worth the price tag

Cool functions, but it is a busy dial. Relaxing today, so wearing the Shorokhoff 63, close to the opposite. Different days, different choices.
