- I was finally able to record the awesome exhaust notes from the Hitchcocks silencer I fitted a few months ago.

does it vibrate so much when high speed ?
Enfield classics are never meant for speed. The sweet spot is 60-70 km/h for cruising around enjoying the ride, feeling the single cylinder thumping, and listening to the beautiful melody from the silencer :)
What microphone did you use?

I use Boya BY-MM1 mic. Initially, I tried positioning the mic in various ways but couldn’t record the exhaust note to my taste. Finally, I put the mic in a small sling bag that sat right behind my back (on the rear carrier). The mics front was facing downwards. And I got a pretty decent result 😀
original sprocket 17 teeth?
Yes, the sprocket is original- never changed it, but sure whether it is 17teeth.
