Looks great. I have been thinking about having bed liner sprayed on my hood. I'm now thinking maybe I could try using the Vinyl wrap that looks like bed liner and try doing it myself.
I think that is %100 a better idea. The main bonus is it’s removable. A year later if you don’t like it you can take it off. Or if you love it commit to a spray on solution.
That would make sense. Flat surfaces will absorb more UV than vertical. From my experience high quality vinyl lasts 3-5 years. It’s better to pull it sooner than later otherwise it’s a nightmare to remove.
I used a section that is 78”x38” most wrap films come in 54” rolls and are sold by the yard. You can check with a local sign shop or vehicle wrap shop, they may sell you 7’ rather than ordering 3 yards. I order from a site called Fellers, but I think you need an account.
This project is a wrap. I get it. 😂
I’m glad some folks appreciate me. 😂

Plasti dip
@@skysteppes have you tried to remove dip after a year or so? It’s definitely an option, but I like vinyl more.
Does serve a purpose as it also protects the paint and retains resale value.
It kind of does. The vinyl is so thin it doesn’t guard against rocks like clear bra does.
And cuts down on glare.
Hi Mate, what type of sticky did you use to reinstall ??
We used 3M VHB tape:

@@AVCRIG Thank you. Would you ever wrap Flarespace ??
@@andymerchant4776 you definitely can. They would need to be painted first. I don’t think Vinyl will stick to the primer on a raw flarespace.
@@AVCRIG understood, was thinking the same thing..
Great job
Thanks!
looks good
Thanks! Can’t wait to do my 2022
How does the vinyl hold up in the sun over the years? I've heard the hood fades quicker than vinyl on sides of the van. Any truth to this?

@@AVCRIG ...Thanks for your feedback!
What size sheet should I order to do this?

Do you sell AVC rig apparel?
We have hats online, we plan to add more soon! Thanks for asking.
