Hi, I am from Kenya and i have been looking for inspiration to build my own ebike camper and i must say yours is really impressive. Thank you for the inspiration.
Oh man I really love the plain simple English. I’m Dutch, so my German and English are ok, but to hear everything in understandable English instead the crazy rattling (often with accent) American folks talking with weird nuances. Here I can follow 100% of every (tech)explaining. Thank you for your creativity and patience!
Greetings from Minnesota! This is an absolutely terrific and inspiring setup, the fact you have been able to go 700km on the ebike and trailer is incredible.
Hats off my man, that is awesome. The heater system is genius. I'm a big guy and trying to build one to fit me, but got alot of great ideas from yours.

Places with high rates of homeless should issue these to people who can’t live in shelters. It would provide them with basic transportation (bike) and a place to stay warm and have some sort of basic security while on the move. In exchange the homeless who occupy these could work basic jobs for the city (i.e. sanitation, landscaping, etc).

Thank you for english videos! Now with extra time on our hands, I would like to build my version of bike trailer. Already said on german channel, trailer is excellent, great job. And heater is work of genius also! Can I ask you, which batteries did you use for this project? That is the biggest stumbling block for my e bike project. Also suggestion, to use 42T cassette on the wheel, that way you can lover power consumption uphill a lot. Best regards!
Hello Mr. Kreher, Mr. Öttinger would be proud to talk such a fine English. Please try it once again in "best Sächsisch!" King regards from the Northsea Rainer with dog

I watched the first two build videos. I thought ‘I could never tow that’ and wondered if you had an electric motor. Thank goodness you have! And it’s even self charging! When I cycle-camp I do about 100 miles a day - 160km. No electric assistance, but my set up only weighs about 20lbs - 9kg. Maximum would be about 25lbs - 12kg just before camp or if in the wilderness without the opportunity for resupply. You’ve done an amazing engineering project and worked out every solution as you’ve done your build. Also, your English is excellent and your style is very engaging. Thank you for the English channel.
Cool Video !!! Great Trailer !!! As For Your Getting Your Point Across ... Speaking English With A Heavy German Acsent , You Nailed It Guy , No Problems !!! Thank You Very Much , Looking Forward To More Videos !!! Thank You !!!
I would have subscribed but seeing the little dog running his legs off put me off so sadly I want be joining your channel, like Cheryl said build a small basket for your 🐕
@@alexandrastevens8892 That's pretty dumb. Are you implying that he makes his dog run 150km a day while he cycles? The dog can obviously go in the trailer when he gets tired. Dogs love to run fast and exercise, there's nothing cruel about this whatsoever.
I hope the energy from the solar panel also drives the motor you have attached to the tricycle. There is one thing I would like to propose is that you can also attach wind turbine on the four corners of your vehicle which will also give you more energy. Yes it might increase the weight as you will have to put on more batterybut you can always go for lithium batteries which are lightweight and will be able to store more energy. But I think the wind turbine energy can continuously power your tricycle so you don't have to paddle it any more.
The problem is the same.... LAWS OF THERMODYNAMICS! If you place wind turbine on moving vehicles they will increase the drag resistance. If you increase the drag resistance, your electric motor will require much more energy to do the same job. Of course you also recover some energy more from the wind turbines..... but, guess what.... the extra energy required for running the motor is always substantially higher than the energy provided by the wind turbines because you have to convert the electrical energy into rotational motion (+ losses), than convert the rotational motion into linear motion (+ losses), than you have to deal with wind drag (+ losses), than you convert this wind drag into rotational motion (+ losses) than you need to convert the rotational motion into electrical energy again (+ losses)... there overall energy involved is the same, but there are many extra losses in the process so the overall energy balance is always negative!!!! Wind turbines may be used only when the vehicle is stationary (and stored inside prior to start the trip), but you always need to consider the extra weight. BTW... there is a way to properly use the wind on a moving object.... is called SAIL, but is not easily usable if you need to follow a road.
Great design and utilizing your ebike makes sense. Add solar panels to the side of the trailer for more power. I think it would be amazing to have the top fold down for reduced resistance. I will play with the idea. Very nice work, Rene.
Ach herrlich, Rene! Ich feier dich so! Wirklich krass wieviel Zeit du dafür investiert und das ganze dann noch international! Mein Respekt hast du👍🏻👍🏻 Danke für deine Videos Schöne Grüße Hacki

I paused the video multiple times around 7m45s. You made a heat exchanger from an old CPU heatsink and putted a fan on top of it to distribute the heat into the caravan? That is briliant! (I hope you do have a carbon monoxide detector though). But compliments for this bike-caravan. A fantastic design!
Wow! Superb invention! I love it. You can camp for a week in this, just add a tiny portable toilet like the Lugable Loo (in US) and all set. Beautiful work.
Looks amazing! Want to build something similar! Only thing I would like to add to it would be a really small rocketstove and maybe a big peltier that could convert some of the heat to electric energy. It would be nice to just gather some branches before bed and get some heat and power while you sleep. The gas stove is also good ofc, but here in Sweden at least it would be no problem feeding that rocketstove.

You can add solar panels on side and the door too, don't know how efficient they will be but while riding they might be.
